MHA: A Kings Legacy (BNHA x AOT)

Chapter 31: 31: Villains vs Heroes [II]

Team 2: Tenya Iida and Ochaco Uraraka vs Eijiro Kirishima and Fumikage Tokoyami

The industrial chemical facility chosen for Team 2's battle was a maze of steel pipes, towering storage tanks, and crisscrossing walkways. The cold metallic environment stretched high into the sky, with a network of narrow platforms running along the upper levels.

Neon lights flickered ominously, casting long shadows across the facility.

The air was thick with the faint smell of chemicals, and the echo of clanging machinery made the setting feel even more intense.

At the heart of the facility was a central chamber, where the flag—this time disguised as a chemical bomb—was stored. Team 2 Heroes, Tenya Iida and Ochaco Urarak, would need to navigate the tight corridors and hazardous environment, while the villains, Eijiro Kirishima and Fumikage Tokoyami, were ready to defend it with everything they had.

The clock started.

...

Tenya adjusted his glasses as he scanned the area, his sharp eyes taking in every possible detail. His engines hummed quietly as he prepared for a swift, strategic assault.

Standing beside him, Ochaco bounced on her feet, her usual bubbly energy tempered by the seriousness of the challenge ahead.

"Alright, Uraraka, the environment here is tight, so we'll need to be extra cautious," Iida said, his voice steady. "Kirishima's defense is practically impenetrable, and Tokoyami's Dark Shadow thrives in the shadows. We'll need to use our surroundings to outmaneuver them."

Ochaco nodded, already calculating her own plan. "I can make some of the heavier equipment float and use it as a distraction, or maybe even block their path."

"Good idea. If we can confuse them with obstacles, I can use my speed to get in close and retrieve the flag," Iida replied, his engines revving slightly as he considered their approach.

"Let's stick together for now. If we separate, they could overwhelm us."

In the heart of the facility, Kirishima was already hardening his body, his red eyes gleaming with excitement. He pounded his rock-hard fists together, the sound echoing in the steel corridors.

"Man, this is gonna be awesome! No way they're getting through us," Kirishima grinned, his jagged teeth reflecting the dim light. "I'll take the front. No way Iida's speed is gonna help him here."

Fumikage Tokoyami stood in the shadows, his voice low and calm. "I agree. The narrow paths and shadows provide a perfect environment for Dark Shadow. We'll maintain control of the upper levels, where I can deploy him to block their approach."

Dark Shadow emerged from Tokoyami's back, growing larger and more menacing in the dark environment. "We shall crush them," it growled.

Kirishima smirked, his fists cracking as he tightened them. "Let them try."

...

Tenya Iida and Ochaco Uraraka advanced cautiously, navigating the maze of chemical vats and towering pipes. They moved in sync, their footsteps light against the metal ground.

The facility was eerily quiet, save for the distant hum of machines and the occasional drip of chemicals leaking from pipes.

Every sound echoed ominously, making it hard to tell where the villains were.

"We need to be careful," Iida whispered, his eyes darting around the facility. "They could be anywhere."

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the facility. A large storage tank had collapsed, sending metal debris flying. From the shadows, Kirishima emerged, his hardened body glistening under the flickering lights.

"You're not getting past me, heroes!" Kirishima roared, charging forward with full force.

Ochaco reacted quickly, slapping her palms on the ground and sending several large pieces of debris floating into the air. "Iida, go! I'll hold him off!"

Iida hesitated for a split second before nodding. His engines roared to life, and with a burst of speed, he dashed past Kirishima, aiming for the center of the facility where the flag was hidden.

Kirishima growled, his hardened fists smashing through the floating debris with ease. "Not so fast!"

He lunged toward Ochaco, his body like a wrecking ball as he barreled through the narrow corridor. But Ochaco was quick, using her agility to dodge his attacks while sending more objects floating into his path.

"You're tough, Kirishima, but you're not fast!"

Meanwhile, Iida zoomed through the industrial maze, his eyes locked on the central chamber. His speed allowed him to maneuver through the tight spaces, but the shadows around him seemed to move unnaturally.

He slowed down, realising that something was wrong.

Tokoyami, he thought, scanning the darkened pathways.

Without warning, Dark Shadow lunged from the shadows, its massive form blocking the narrow corridor. Its yellow eyes glowed ominously as it let out a menacing growl.

"You shall not pass!" Dark Shadow boomed, slamming its massive fist down toward Iida.

Iida barely dodged the attack, his engines roaring as he skidded to the side. "I see you, Tokoyami!" he shouted, glancing around for his classmate.

Tokoyami stepped out from the shadows on a nearby platform, his eyes glowing faintly in the dim light. "This environment is perfect for Dark Shadow. Your speed means nothing here."

---

In the observation room, the rest of Class 1-A watched in awe.

"Whoa! Kirishima's defense is insane!" Kaminari exclaimed. "Ochaco's throwing everything at him, but he's just tanking it."

"And Tokoyami's got the perfect setup in those shadows," Jiro added, her eyes narrowing as she focused on the screen. "Iida's speed might not help him much if he can't see where Dark Shadow's coming from."

"Yeah, but Iida's not going down that easily," Sero commented, leaning forward. "He's super smart. I bet he's already thinking of a way to outmaneuver Dark Shadow."

Back at the entrance of the facility, Ochaco continued to dodge Kirishima's attacks, her movements swift and agile. Kirishima, on the other hand, was relentless, smashing through the floating debris as if it were paper.

"You're strong, Ochaco, but you can't keep running forever!" Kirishima grinned, his fist slamming into the ground where she had been moments before.

Ochaco gritted her teeth. She knew she couldn't match Kirishima's strength head-on. But she didn't need to.

As she dodged another attack, she slapped her hand onto a nearby vat and made it float. The large metal tank hovered in the air, casting a shadow over Kirishima.

"Let's see how you handle this!" she shouted, sending the vat crashing down toward him.

Kirishima grinned, his body hardening even more as he braced himself. The vat slammed into him with a loud crash, but Kirishima remained standing, barely phased by the impact.

"Nice try, but it's gonna take more than that to take me down!"

Meanwhile, Iida continued to evade Dark Shadow's attacks, his speed allowing him to dodge the massive creature's swings.

But the narrow corridors and shifting shadows made it difficult for him to find an opening.

"Your speed is impressive, Iida," Tokoyami said from his perch. "But Dark Shadow will eventually catch you. You cannot outrun the darkness."

Iida frowned, his mind racing. He needed a plan. The environment was working against him, and Tokoyami had the upper hand in the shadows. But then, an idea struck him.

*The shadows... Of course!*

Iida dashed toward one of the large chemical vats, using his speed to propel himself into the air. As Dark Shadow lunged toward him again, Iida kicked the vat with full force, sending it toppling over.

A flood of bright, fluorescent liquid spilled out, illuminating the entire area and flooding the shadows with light.

Dark Shadow recoiled, shrinking in size as the light weakened its power. "No! The light...!" it growled, retreating into Tokoyami's body.

Tokoyami winced, his control over Dark Shadow slipping. "Clever move, Iida..."

Iida landed on the ground, his engines revving as he prepared to make his final move. "Now's my chance!"

With Dark Shadow temporarily weakened, Iida dashed toward the central chamber where the flag was stored.

But before he could reach it, Kirishima appeared, blocking his path. His body was fully hardened, and his eyes gleamed with determination.

"Not so fast, Iida!" Kirishima growled, his fists raised. "You're not getting past me!"

Iida skidded to a stop, his eyes narrowing. "Kirishima... I can't let you stop me here."

The two clashed, Iida's speed against Kirishima's unbreakable defense. Iida darted around, delivering swift kicks and punches, but Kirishima's hardened body absorbed every hit.

"You can't break through my defense!" Kirishima shouted, swinging his fist toward Iida.

But Iida was ready. Instead of trying to break through Kirishima's defense, he used his speed to outmaneuver him. With a burst of energy, Iida shot past Kirishima, racing toward the flag.

Iida grabbed the flag just as the timer buzzed, signalling the end of the match.

"And the heroes win again!" All Might's voice boomed through the speakers, his excitement palpable.

The class erupted into cheers and applause, impressed by the strategies and teamwork on both sides.

"That was awesome!" Kaminari shouted, grinning from ear to ear.

"Yeah, Iida really came through with that light trick," Sero added, nodding in approval.

Ochaco, panting and covered in sweat, walked over to Iida, a big smile on her face. "We did it!"

Iida smiled back, adjusting his glasses. "Yes, we did. Excellent work, Uraraka."

Kirishima, still hardened, chuckled as he approached them. "Man, you guys are tough. Iida, that was some next-level thinking with the lights."

Tokoyami, standing nearby, gave a small nod of approval. "Indeed. You used the environment to your advantage. Well played, Iida."

The battle had been intense, but in the end, teamwork and strategy had won the day.
