Chapter 1: New World
The room was quiet, except for the soft scratching of a pen against paper. A young man sat hunched over a wooden study table. It was his 21st birthday, but there was no joy in his eyes.
His messy purple hair stuck out in all directions as if he hadn't bothered to comb it for ages. His tired, deep-set eyes were half-hidden under his bangs, giving him a sleepy, mysterious look.
He wore a plain black hoodie, its sleeves pushed up to his elbows, and a pair of worn-out jeans. It was his go-to wear, which he hadn't washed in days.
It's been a week now.
He wrote.
A week since I entered this familiar yet strange world. A week since I became Ren Shinso.
Ren could barely recall the details of his life before. Only fragments remained, and one stood out vividly the moment he installed a VR eroge set in an alternate MHA timeline.
The file was massive, so he'd gone to sleep while the game downloaded from an exclusive, invite-only server. He was the only one on the server apart from the game's creator. But when he woke up, everything had changed.
His room was a mess, and his prized possessions were missing. But other than that, the room was a one-to-one copy of his. Confused, he frantically looked around, searching for answers. It wasn't until he caught sight of himself in the mirror did he realized what happened.
He couldn't remember his original face, but the handsome face staring back at him wasn't his.
Over a week, the reality had sunk in.
He was no longer the man he used to be. Somehow, he had transmigrated into the very eroge he eagerly wanted to play.
In the game, he was Ren Shinso, older brother of Hitoshi Shinso, 20 in this timeline. But like the original story, Aizawa sensei was their adoptive father.
"Who would've thought I'd end up calling him father…" Ren cringed, recalling their first encounter.
However, Aizawa was his father in name only. He had no interest in acting as one, especially not for a quirkless child, like Ren. At least, that was the backstory Ren got from the game's creator.
"But then I got this thing…"
Ren raised his left hand, and an interface flickered to life before him. It was his quirk—or rather, his cheat in the eroge.
A corruption system.
Ren was clueless about how to use the darn thing. Thanks to that, Aizawa and Hitoshi thought he was quirkless and sent him away. They didn't want the weight of a quirkless deadbeat destroying their image.
The Aizawa, Ren knew from the main timeline, wouldn't do such a thing, but things were different inside the eroge.
The catalyst for everything was a single, devastating event: All Might's death.
During their first confrontation, All For One took All Might down for good after a grueling fight. But All For One didn't hold out for long either. All Might's last punch had hit All For One in the head, shattering his skull and leaving him to succumb to internal bleeding.
Currently, he was held in Tartarus, permanently in a vegetative state, and constantly pumped with a serum provided by the Yakuza. And with All Might dead and All For One incapacitated, the balance of power crumbled.
The world spiraled into chaos.
Without the Symbol of Peace, even the hero society began to rot from within. Heroes stopped caring about justice or saving lives. Money, fame, and appearances took precedence over virtue.
Even the U.A. wasn't an exception.
In this timeline, it wasn't a high school but a college—a corrupt one at that.
A corrupt U.A., even the thought was daunting.
At first, Ren didn't want to believe it. But when Aizawa abandoned him, casting him out like garbage for being quirkless, Ren was forced to accept the truth.
This wasn't the world he knew.
In this twisted timeline, quirks, wealth, and status were the only things that mattered.
With a sigh, Ren closed his diary and stepped out. Unlocking the system could wait, his hunger couldn't.

As Ren stepped out of the checkout line, a news bulletin flickered across the TV screens overhead. Yet again, Overhaul's gang, Shie Hassaikai, was making headlines, stirring chaos in the city.
Who would've thought things would be worse without All For One?
Without All For One, the League of Villains had never formed. The result? A lawless landscape where no one kept the other villains in check. It was almost laughable—without the League; the underworld seemed to have no boundaries.
In the vacuum left behind, Overhaul's group and a few others rose to dominance, seizing control of the criminal underworld. But the irony didn't end there.
Overhaul's serum had rendered All For One quirkless, effectively neutering the former kingpin. And because of that, the Hero Society often turned a blind eye to Overhaul's crimes, as if his twisted contributions somehow justified his unchecked rule.
It was disgusting and shameful, but it was the truth of the new world.
When Ren thought about Eri… his hands stopped for a second. Without All Might, there was no Deku to save her. Her only hope, the Hero society, would not help her either.
It didn't take a genius to envision the horrors she must be enduring under Overhaul's control. He hadn't seen her in this world, but still… he didn't want an innocent child to suffer.
Ren subconsciously clenched his fists. But then sighed and shook his head. As much as he wanted to help her, he was quirkless—a nobody. Crossing both the Shie Hassaikai and the Hero Society would only spell his doom.
Maybe one day, when he unlocked his latent quirk, he could make a difference. But until then… he was just a Normie. Nothing more.
"Please visit us again!" the receptionist called out cheerfully, her voice almost mocking as Ren stepped out into the cold, indifferent world.
When I master my quirk, the first thing I'll do is save Eri. Not because I want to play the hero, but because controlling her quirk is the fastest way to reach the top.
That way… he could accomplish his goal of sleeping with the beauties in the game. Well, it was his ultimate goal, so he could take his sweet time conquering the ladies.
A loud crash suddenly interrupted Ren's thoughts.
"What the…"
Ren's heart pounded as he stood frozen, staring at the car hurtling toward him. He wanted to run, to jump and save his life, but his legs refused to budge.
This is it. This is how I die.
A virgin… even in an eroge. How pathetic was his life?
But just as the car was about to hit him, he felt a gust of wind, and someone rushed past him. Before he could blink, the car was sent flying in the opposite direction, crashing into the side of a building.
Ren's eyes widened as he saw the person who had saved him. A woman with platinum blonde hair flowing freely behind her, twitching bunny ears perched on her head.
She stood confidently before him, her foot still raised from the kick that had sent the car flying. And that outfit… Ren couldn't believe it.
"It's… it's Mirko," he stammered.
It was Mirko, alright, but she looked older than Ren. Unlike him, she was probably in her late twenties.
"You okay, kid?" she asked, turning back to him.
Ren could only nod, his mouth dry. He had just been saved by one of the strongest heroes in the country.
Forget about the strongest… she's one of the most bang-able characters in the entire franchise!
