MMORPG: Divine Mech Hunter

Chapter 529 - 529: Final Battle

Chapter 529: Chapter 529: Final Battle

All the half-human, half-horse creatures were showing signs of excitement. You see, Mark was the only young one who could stand shoulder to shoulder with the Young Khan among their generation of fighters.

They were naturally out of his league, and now, the leader of this team was stepping up to the plate, guaranteeing a thrilling duel.

Having seen a few trials, the half-human, half-horse creatures were not taking this team lightly.

Whether it was individual strength or team synergy, they found this team to be near impeccable.

Being capable of overpowering an adversary akin to a boss-level creature with mere elite-level prowess was the epitome of their strength, and that was just the team members. The leader had yet to fight.

This world was one where power is respected. They believed, if Li Yao didn’t have great strength, he wouldn’t be able to command such an excellent team.

Naturally, Mark’s entry unveiled an earth-shattering cheer.

Mark hustled his way to face Li Yao, placing his long-handled weapon on his back, a bow and arrow appearing in his hand. He spoke with arrogance, “It seems like you are a hunter too. Good, let me introduce myself. I am this tribe’s best archer, and also the second-best for hand-to-hand combat. I hope you can last a bit longer, because I am not like those clowns, I won’t be holding back.”

Li Yao slowly took out the Blue Moon Bow and spoke lightly, “That’s exactly what I was about to say. I hope you are resilient.”

“Arrogant.” Mark’s expression changed, he spoke coldly, “Very well, let’s see what you’ve really got. I was intending to hold back before, but since you don’t appreciate my kindness, then don’t blame me for what’s to come. Let’s go, my companion.”

Upon Mark’s whistle, a loud roar resonated and a giant pure black War Bear appeared beside him.

This War Bear’s rank and strength matched his, both being mid-level, one-star bosses.

“Mark, you…” Young Khan was furious, “You are out of line…”

The spectators among the half-human, half-horse creatures started to show signs of dissatisfaction. Look at you, a mid-level boss, using your beasts against a three-star elite. Really, that was enough.

“Don’t blame me, I just wanted to be resilient enough to not disappoint this zealous brother here, don’t you think?” Mark, seemingly oblivious to the surrounding chatter, instead looked provocatively at Li Yao.

“Exactly, this way you won’t have any excuses when you lose later.” Li Yao didn’t seem to care. He said, “In that case, I won’t hold back either.”

As Li Yao whistled, a bird’s cry came from the high sky.

Then they just noticed a majestic fire eagle had been flying above their heads undetected.

The fire eagle, like a meteor, quickly dove down, circled around Li Yao in a flash and hovered over the trial ground, looking down at the War Bear with fiery eyes.

“So this is your pet, a mid-level boss as well. Not bad.” A hint of surprise flashed in Mark’s eyes, but he didn’t seem to care too much. In his view, this fire eagle was not a match for his War Bear.

“Don’t rush, I am not finished yet.” Li Yao said with another whistle, and with it, the massive form of the Spider Tank appeared.

As soon as the Spider Tank appeared, it emitted a hissing noise, its blood-red eyes and the Eye of the Ancient God on its back both locking on to the War Bear.

The half-human, half-horse creatures gasped. A double boss level summon, what this meant was that at level 20, he had passed the highest difficulty of the Beast God Trial for the first time.

Mark’s face changed this time too. Although he didn’t know the specifics of the Spider Tank’s abilities, the monstrous appearance of the Spider Tank was rather formidable.

It appeared neither fully biological nor purely mechanical. Its black steel hair sometimes looked sharp as an iron spur, and sometimes appeared like swaying tentacles in the wind.

The sharp claws on its frontal limbs, filling the viewer with intimidation, the Eye of the Ancient God and the dark artillery shell in the back, regardless of whether the half-human, half-horse creatures knew what they were for, they instinctively felt danger.

“What do you say?” Li Yao laughed.

“Barely acceptable.” Mark put away his contempt, but remained confident.

“How about this then?” Li Yao summoned the Hydra directly. As the Hydra appeared, the half-human, half-horse creatures’ eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

“He had completed the highest difficulty Beast God Trial right at level two, how is this possible.” The green bearded elder almost ripped off his beard in shock.

The Hydra was already a high-level boss which was shocking enough to them, but what was even more astonishing was the Beast God Trial. It was too rare to see someone like this.

“He really is a genius.” This was the thought that appeared in everyone’s mind.

“What does it matter how strong your pet is? You, the summoner, are a mere elite class. I will defeat you with a single move. Whatever comes after won’t make a difference.” Mark’s face became cold, putting away his contempt, but still not giving in.

“Let’s fight then.” Li Yao waved his hand, the Hydra and the fire eagle immediately backed off.

“What are you doing?” Mark’s face changed.

“Nothing much. To deal with you, one summoner and one pet will suffice.” Li Yao was equally unyielding.

“Big brother is at it again.” Tong Tong covered her face.

“This guy is too arrogant. Naturally, he can’t stand others being more arrogant than him, and he’s taking it seriously even with an NPC. Interesting.” The Unparalleled She-devil laughed.

Sister Li shook her head with a bitter smile. This guild leader was good at everything, except he loved showing off. His opponents always wanted to bite him to death, and being his opponent was certainly no picnic.

You could say you’re not using these pets or not summoning them, but summoning and not using is really face-slapping.

“I hope you won’t be so arrogant soon.” Mark’s face darkened. Never had he been dismissed like this before: “Die!”

He shot the bow at a distance of over a hundred yards. He believed that Li Yao could only passively take a hit, as a show off, as well as an insult to Li Yao, allowing him to experience the power of a half-human, half-horse archer.

But Li Yao was not an average hunter, his own shooting range combined with the Blue Moon Bow, a hundred yards was nothing.

And he had been ready to go. As the opponent fired an arrow, Li Yao also shot his arrow.

At the same time, the War Bear also crazily charged towards the Spider Tank. The Spider Tank did not roar but directly went into defense mode, its huge artillery shell vibrating violently.

And then, the entire trial ground emitted a gasp, the half-human, half-horse creatures also experienced a showdown of two sharp sword points.

“Now this is a true archer.” Whispers filled Young Khan’s mind.

Mark’s face was burning with embarrassment. Earlier he had claimed to be the best archer, only to be corrected within minutes, it was truly humiliating.

He glanced at his pet to find it bloodied and flipped by a shell. It was struggling to charge towards the Spider Tank again.

Only then did Mark realize, without giving his all, it was not just teaching them a lesson, even the result of the fight was an unknown…
