Chapter 8

Alice's view

Alice , Tristan and Caspian arrived to their house and locked their gate so uninvited guest can'not come in . Alice unlocked the door and opened it not forgetting to let Caspian and Tristan inside and locking it again.

They all rushed to sitting room and putted their bags down and went to kitchen to make food and snacks. The first person who broke the silent was Caspian.

"So are you sure your visions are correct Alice , after all it wouldn't be the first time your visions came true ." Caspian said while opening the fridge taking out three ice cream .

"I know what I saw Caspian and now that I've met her . I know it is her and she is special. The child of Aurora and Aesen . " Alice said after taking out cake and taking out a knife.

"Do you think she is special? I think she is unique instead of special , and how did you know her parents names Alice , you said you saw them in you vision but they were not saying anything" Caspian asked, his tone casual but his eyes sharp .

Alice sliced cake and gave one each before returning it to fridge. "I don't just think. I know . As for her parents I can see them , they are always protecting her and always besides her."

"I believe in Alice for once , I felt energy around her . It is warm and comfortable but it also changes ,as if it changes with her moods " Tristan said while eating a slice of cake and closes his eyes to show that he is enjoying it .

""She has the energy of someone who's destined for something greater," Alice said. "Her aura—it's brighter, more complex than anyone I've ever seen. It's not just power. It's... potential."

"Potential for what?" Caspian pressed.

"For something that could change everything," Alice replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I think she might be the one."

"The Chosen One?" Tristan asked, his expression skeptical.

Caspian let out a low whistle. "That's a big claim, Alice. Are you sure ?"

Alice nodded slowly. "I've been sensing it since the moment we met her. But it's not fully awakened yet. She doesn't even know or aware about herself." Alice said .

"I could not feel anything from her ." Tristan said that while give each ice cream and sitting down to enjoy his slice of cake .

"How can you read her energy while you were busy trying to flirt with her . The only thing you readed was her face ,in fact I'm sure her face is printed inside your head." Tristan said as he looked at Caspian smile.

"Indeed it is printed on my mind how can I not remember a beauty with a beautiful face . "Caspian said while smiling at Tristan .

"Oh ,how could forget that you love girls . Maybe I should tell my sister to forget about you ." Tristan said with irritated voice .

"Your little sister , is she in love with me ? Thank you for this information you just told me , no wonder you always bother me , telling me to visit you . You were pleasing your overbearing little sister. " Caspian laughed at Tristan.

"His overbearing little sister , tell me more I have never saw his sister. " Alice said with interest while looking at Caspian. Caspian looked at Tristan ,and when he was about to open his mouth . Tristan stopped him .

"Caspian he won't bully you ,I'll protect you and I'll buy you your favorite snacks . Tell me ." Alice said with a sweet voice to a bold dominating voice.

"Caspian you open up your mouth about my sister , I'll make sure that I'll lock you inside a room with big dogs not puppies. " Tristan said those words with calm voice ,but one could see that he is panicking. Caspian looked down disappointed as if he missed a chance to tell a good story. He now lost his interest of tell Alice about Tristan's overbearing little sister because he is being threatened by something he is scared of ,which is dogs . It doesn't matter if it is a puppy or a big dogs , Caspian they have teeth to bite people.

"Caspian I'll promise you that not even a dog will step near you , look at you or be on your sight . And if he really do that I'll lock him inside with snakes . Tristan looked at Alice with sharp eyes and they did a staring contest at the end Tristan lost. Caspian became interested in what Alice just said .

"You are scared of snakes ,I thought I was the only one who have fears . But I didn't know that our strong and bold Tristan who does not fear anything,fears snakes . Speaking of that I think I'll get snake as a pet , what do you think Alice?" Caspian said while laughing and Tristan face turned flushed pink.

"If he bullies you with dogs I'll buy you a snake as a pet you will even choose the one you want ." Alice said with a smile while looking at Tristan . "Now tell big sister Alice about Tristan sister " . As Alice said those words Caspian Open his mouth and told Alice about Tristan's overbearing little sister and did not leave a single detail.

"You see Alice , In the whole world Tristan loves his little sister the most and even spoils her . Well everyone in his family love to spoil his little sister who is Mia . But the way he spoils his sister he can even play a tea party with her and play dressing up . Last time when I visited him ,his sister invited me to play dressing up with her but I'm a man ,a handsome man how could I play a dressing up game . Mia suggested that his brother will dress up as a lady while me a gentleman , after all I am a man . She dressed up Tristan in a pink and red dress and she also put a make up on him including a wig. She turned him into a stunning beauty." Caspian said while laughing at Tristan and Alice joined in too. "I even have pictures ,I can show you ."

"Show me ,where are they ?" Tristan now looked at them with a little shame and he was now turning red .

"Quicky look for photo album is, it is inside my bed room inside a drawers" The moment Caspian said those words Alice and Tristan rushed to Caspian bedroom and Alice first reached the drawer and took out a photo album but when she opened it , Tristan took it .

"Sorry Lice , you heard the story but this are not meant for your eyes. " Tristan said with a smile.

"You are such a bore Tristan. " Said Alice after scorning.

Their evening was fun and they even planned for tomorrow how they were going to get closer to Golderine and find if she really is a person who has been chosen ,before taking her. And everyone went to their bedrooms to sleep

In The Morning : Golderine's View

Golderine do her every day routine as always , from waking up to greeting the sun . When she walked down to the kitchen she realized that her Aunt did not return yesterday and she did her own breakfast . She ate and went to school. And as always when she arrives at school she received attentions that she didn't know she needed from anyone that kept looking at her and charting about her as she walked to her classroom, avoiding them. As she walked entered her classroom she met with Caspian, Tristan and Alice.

From across the room, Stephanie watched the interaction with narrowed eyes. She didn't like how close Alice, Caspian, and Tristan were getting to Golderine. It felt like a challenge to her authority.

"I hate it when she gets close to Tristan and Caspian like that, wrapped them around her fingers ." Stephanie muttered to Stacy.

"Who? Alice or Golderine?" Stacy asked.

"Both," Stephanie snapped. "But Alice is the real threat. She's always acting like she knows something we don't. We need to put her in her place."

"What's the plan?" Stacy asked eagerly.

Stephanie smirked. "We'll spread a new rumor. Something so outrageous that no one will want to go near them."

Later that day, during lunch, Stephanie approached Golderine and her new friends with a smug expression.

"Well, if it isn't the Unwanted One and her little fan club," Stephanie said loudly, drawing the attention of nearby students.

Golderine stiffened, but Alice stood and faced Stephanie with a calm yet commanding presence.

"Do you have something to say, Stephanie?" Alice asked, her tone cold.

"Oh, I was just wondering how it feels to hang out with someone who's cursed," Stephanie said, feigning innocence. "You know, it's only a matter of time before her bad luck rubs off on you."

Alice didn't flinch. Instead, she stepped closer to Stephanie and looked her directly in the eye.

"Do you know what I see when I look at you, Stephanie?" Alice said quietly.

Stephanie faltered, her confidence wavering. "What are you talking about?"

"I see fear," Alice continued. "You act like you're in control, but deep down, you're terrified. You're afraid of losing your power, your popularity. That's why you attack people like Golderine—because you think it makes you stronger. But it doesn't. It only reveals how weak you really are."

Stephanie's face turned red, and she opened her mouth to retort, but no words came out.

Alice turned her back on Stephanie and addressed the crowd that had gathered. "If anyone here has a problem with Golderine, they'll have to go through me. And trust me, you don't want to do that."

The students murmured among themselves, and Stephanie, unable to regain her composure, stormed off with Stacy trailing behind her.
