MORNINGSTAR.

Chapter 4: Kick-starting existence

___

"Since the beginning of creation, he was the creator's finest creation; The Angel Samael, called Lucifer. It means the bringer of light.

Of all the Angels he was the most beautiful, wisest and most powerful. Save only the Creator, he is perhaps the most powerful being there is.."

"Even more powerful than you?"

"Oh yes! By far.."

In that moment, all was beautiful. All was perfect.

My father had laid the groundwork. All that was needed was for my brothers and I to perfect the already finished work my father had started. To kickstart my Father's grandiose plans and what he called a multiverse..

My brother, Michael, my twin, identical to me in every possible way, a natural born warrior, and a powerful judge, but, he lacked the infinite grace and beauty I inherited from mother. I was chosen for this very purpose, to exude and embody the beauty, grace and intelligence that Father imbued in all of creation.

Sculpted from the fires that was used to craft existence itself, no one that was, is or was to come could ever compare to me.

Six wings flapped gently from behind me, sculpted by mother herself, with gold and topaz. I was her finest work, and Father's herald of light.

Gabriel on the other hand, bore Father's voice. He was a messenger, a witness, created to proclaim Father's will to the entirety of creation.

Unlike Michael who was an embodiment of demiurgic power, wielding a flaming sword, Gabriel held a simple unassuming horn in his hand, but in his eyes, the truth of the cosmos reflected to all who gazed within.

"Brothers!

This is the defining moment! The purpose of our creation! It's time for life to flourish!"

My brother, Michael took a step forward, while his pair of dark glossy wings fluttered behind him. With a commanding voice that irritated me to no end, he stretched out his arms, and an incredible, nearly infinite amount of power burst out of his body, flooding the void with demiurgic light.

With a deep breath, my arm stretched out, and with my eyes closed, I grasped hold of the nigh infinite power that my brother radiated.

The void shook. Reality trembled in the face of my might. The cosmos stirred, particles swirled. Forces of nature gathered at my beckon and my behest.

"Let. It. Be!."

Never before seen power coalesced and collapsed into a single point, a divine singularity, and then exploded forth, shaking the overvoid itself.

In a single, cataclysmic moment, the multiverse was born. From an infinitesimal point of pure energy, it exploded outward in a blinding flash, creating time, space, and matter. Stars ignited, galaxies swirled into existence, and the cosmos began its eternal expansion. Out of that cosmic chaos, everything we knew, everything we were, emerged.

Billions upon billions of worlds, timelines, realities, creates from the collision of divine demiurgic power, and aligned perfectly with one another. None superimposed over the other.

Gently bringing his horn to this lips, my brother, Gabriel blew a tune, and right in that moment, order balanced chaos, the will and essence of the creator was imbued into all of creation.

I looked from above at my creation. It all was divine. I revelled in my success and a smile crept up to my face. Everything was perfect, down to the last detail.

But ultimately, creation had just began. For life to flourish, evolution was necessary. Change was irreplaceable.

"Come! my children!"

After stabilization of our new creation, my brother's and I heard a deep voice resound within the void, which we heeded to it's call, following the symphony of it's vibrations until we landed on a street paved with silver and gold.

In this distance, a gigantic City glimmered in eternal twilight, its towering spires and shimmering streets bathed in an otherworldly glow.

Endlessness was an understatement to how grandiose and massive it's borders stretched. Bridges of light connected ethereal buildings that floated above crystalline plazas, where fountains of liquid light cascade.

Right in the middle of the city, a massive structure towered over the entire landscape, the Throne of Aether, my knowledge keeping up the more I observed, dominated the skyline, radiating a powerful glow. It was from this same tower that the vibrations from the voice echoed from.

"Father.."

Our knees dropped down in mid air, as if we were on solid ground and we bowed in reverence, not because we wanted to but the power radiating from that tower was so overwhelming that even I, felt as if there was a crushing weight on my shoulders.

It was unsettling, yet the truth made me realise one thing - There was someone up there who was far more powerful than I was. Someone who could unmake me just as easily as I had been brought to life and this person was none other than my own Father. It baffled me, yet at the same time, it frightened me..

"Father.."

We acknowledged and lifted our heads only to see a ginormous figure on a massive throne. His face shone like the sun, incomprehensible and solemn, his robes as white as wool, and before him a flaming sea of crystal blazed brilliantly..

It was marvellous yet inexplicable..

"My sons.."

The voice resonated like the strike of a bell through the silver air...

"the cosmos lies in your hands now. The balance of the stars, the order of time, and the light of creation must be guarded. Turn your gaze to the heavens, oversee the paths of destiny, and guide the flow of eternity.

As for the worlds below, leave them to the children of Khaos. Let the forces that shaped the void tend to the chaos they birthed. The realms beneath us must remain untouched by our hands—for even the light has its boundaries, and the dark must play its part.

"Michael.."

The voice echoed with solemn authority..

"Yes Father.."

My brother bowed his head in reverence..

"To you I have entrusted the sword of the heavens. You shall be the shield of creation, its first and fiercest protector. Watch over the realms of light, and stand guard at the threshold where chaos and order meet.

Lead the hosts of the celestial armies with wisdom and strength, for when the darkness rises, it is you who must hold the line. The weight of justice rests on your shoulders, and in your hands, the balance of the cosmos."

"Samael"..

The voice called out and I flinched, not responding in anyway. I stood my ground and looked directly at my Father, despite the literal burning sensation in my eyes.

The voice of the Almighty God resonated like the shifting winds of eternity, "To you I entrust the most delicate of tasks—the balance of creation itself. You shall be the keeper of the cosmic equilibrium, where life and death, growth and decay, light and shadow, dance in perpetual harmony. It is your hand that will ensure no force grows too strong, no power too unchecked. Guide the ebb and flow of existence, for without your vigilance, chaos would consume all.

In your charge, the lines between creation and destruction blur, but remember—both are necessary. It is not the end you bring, but the balance, the thread that keeps the cosmos in perfect, unyielding order."

My Father's words were clear to me. He wanted me to take care of his handiwork. I accepted it solemnly, not showing too much emotion like Michael did. And right there, I could feel his gaze linger on me for a while..

I had a feeling my brothers could sense it too, but they weren't as calm as I was, especially Micheal. He looked unsettled, fearful and I could even feel the tinge of jealousy in his gaze..

"Gabriel,"

The almighty's voice was like a quiet storm, firm yet gentle..

"To you, I grant the voice of the heavens. You shall be the divine messenger, the herald of my will and the will of the cosmos. It is through you that the realms shall hear of my decrees, and through your words that the stars and worlds will know their fates.

Bear the light of truth, swift and unwavering, across the realms of time and space. Speak with clarity, for your voice carries the weight of destiny. Whether in peace or in war, your message must always be clear—an echo of the eternal."

Gabriel nodded solemnly with a pensive look. I honestly did not understand the need to show so much emotion in such a situation. After all, all three of us were innately aware of our responsibilities at the moment of our birth..

I could feel Father's gaze linger along the edge of the overvoid for a moment, and even with the clarity of my vision the only thing I could was an infinite mass of twisting darkness which made no sense to me at all.

"Michael, my steadfast protector, Gabriel, my divine messenger, Samael, keeper of justice and balance. As you have stood by me since the beginning, now witness the birth of a greater host. This universe grows, and with it, the need for guidance, for guardians, for messengers of my will."

Father spoke solemnly and then raised his hand, as beams of light ripple through the cosmos, as new angelic beings began to coalesce from the ripples of light energy that washed over the cosmos.

"These, too, shall serve in our eternal purpose. Michael, teach them strength, the courage to shield the innocent and to stand firm against the forces of chaos.

Gabriel, bestow upon them the gift of voice, that they may speak with truth, and carry the divine word to all who listen. Samael, instruct them in the delicate balance of justice, for mercy without measure leads to ruin, and judgment without understanding becomes cruelty."

Father paused, gazing at the three archangels with a look of deep trust and affection.

"As you three embody my will in different forms, so too shall they. Together, we shall guide the multiverse through its trials, ensuring that all unfolds as it should. Watch over them, for as they serve me, they shall look to you."

Father's voice and aura slowly receded back into his throneroom of Aether, leaving behind my brothers and I gazing down below at the angelic hosts beneath..

Michael and Gabriel looked down at them lovingly and with care, but I on the other hand looked down on them and smirked, after all, that was their rightful place, beneath the power and glory of Samael..
