Chapter 2: GOOD THING, WE ARE OUT OF THIS
"Okay... Slowly." Nora said softly, as she held Dove and helped her walk out of the elevator. Dove's steps were very light, and she was as good as not being in her senses.
It looked like her senses was barely hanging by a thread from giving up. Her whole body was sweating profusely and she was murmuring something.
Nora continued to coax the girl and took her to her room that she had booked, in the hotel.
Finally, they reached her room and Nora asked Dove to lay on the bed and rest. It did not take much time for Dove to lay flat on the bed m, who was already feeling so feverish and uncomfortable. She didn't even know how she was feeling but it was horrible.
Nora then looked at her worriedly, before sighing and said, "Alright, I'll go now. I will come once Roan is here to take you."
And all she got in response was a 'um', as Nora dimmed the lights and walked out of the room, before closing the door behind her.
And as soon as Nora walked out of the room, that concerned and worried look that she had on her face was wiped off and was replaced with a smirk.
"Oh, my dear Dove!" She uttered before chuckling, and then she walked to the side, pulling out her phone. "He should be here soon." She then dialed a number and made a phone call. The call was answered after a couple of rings, the person answered the call, and Nora said, "Where are you?" Then after a second, she said again, "She is already in. Come to room number 347." And saying so, she hung up the call, and then walked a little away from there, towards the staircase so no one really associates her with anything happening in the room.
While she was waiting for the person to come to that floor, Nora saw the elevator open and a person stepped out of it, wearing a black hoodie. He was a tall man, but Nora couldn't really make out his face, as he had pulled his hoodie's cap on, and his face lowered. She looked at him with a slight frown when he came to stand in front of that room. "He.. doesn't look like the one." She murmured. After all, the man who should be coming wasn't so tall.
Meanwhile, the man stood in front of that room, he raised his head a little, revealing his hunter eyes. He wasn't really in his right state of mind, as his eyes looked intoxicated. He squinted his eyes trying to see the room number in that number plate on the door. And he murmured, " 437?" He whispered, before he sighed and pushed the door open and entered.
Meanwhile, Nora was left there wide eyed, and she stared blankly at the closed door. "Who was he?" She whispered. Just then the elevator dinged again, and another man came out of the elevator. He was comparatively shorter than the man earlier, and his tattoos and piercings over his body and face. He noticed her standing near the staircase and walked up to Nora and signed, "Is this the room?"
But Nora was deep in thought, as she looed at him blankly for a moment and blinked. Then an eery smile crept up to her faced, and she smirked, "Yes. But… there is no need anymore. Good thing, we are out of this now." And then she turned towards the room and smiled in satisfaction, before turning around and walking away from there.
The man with the piercings frowned a little before he looked at the room number 347, before shrugging and walked away too. Any way, he has already received his advance payment.
