Chapter 6: HORRIFIED DOVE!
The next morning, Dove slowly woke up, her eyes fluttered open, before she shut them close hard, as she felt her head throbbing!
She held her head, and her face contoured, and it was aching so much. Why am I having such a bad headache all of a sudden? She wondered. Finally, after a while, when Dove could finally open her eyes and see straight, she saw the ceiling of the room, and slightly furrowed her eyebrows, 'Where am I?' She wondered, before she tried recalling what happened yesterday.
'Oh, right! She was there at Nora's birthday party when she suddenly had felt very feverish and uncomfortable. And Nora had brought her to a room, to rest. Perhaps, she spent the whole night here. Didn't Roan come to take her? All this things were going on in Dove's head, when she tried to sit up. But when she moved her body, her whole body started aching.
"Wh- What? Why is my body aching?" She murmured, but then she even felt her throat parched and slight pain.
She with some difficulty sat straight, and when she did that, Dove froze in shock. Her hands reached for the sheet, and she held it close to her chest. She realised that she was completely bare. She did not have any clothes on her body right now.
Dove gulped in horror, as he eyes widened before she kept a sharp stinging pain on her lower part of her body. Every cell on her body was filled with dread, but her mind was filled with fear and confusion. She slowly turned to her side, to see a man laying on his stomach. She couldn't see his face, but his bare back was visible. And by looks of his physic of what she could see, and his fair but tanned skin colour, he wasn't someone she knew.
Dove was completely blank in her mind, as it started registering what might have happened last night. H- How did it happen? She whispered. Dove tried very hard to remember, but she couldn't really recall anything clearly.
But then she did recall fragments of something that happened between them last night, and that was enough for her to feel chills sweep inside her bones.
She got off the bed with a start, and she walked a few steps away from the bed staring at the man in the bed in horror. Who is he? A tear rolled down her eyes, as she finally understood what must have happened with her last night.
Dove couldn't stand being there for any longer, and she hurriedly looked for her clothes. And before long, she got properly dressed up, before she she took her phone and rushed out of that room, crying. And what she did not notice was that, after she went inside the elevator, a few men walked out of behind a wall, and looked at her direction with expression less faces. The man heading them sighed and looked inside the room to find Dante still sleeping, and they stood outside the room quietly.
After a while, Dante eyes fluttered before he opened them to the not so bright room. He blinked a few times, before adjusting his vision. And then with a groan he tried waking up and sat on the bed, before tilting his head and stretching his neck. He cracked the sides of his neck to get rid of the stiffness, and then blankly looked forward blinking his eyes. His head was too throbbing too much as if it would just burst out open anytime.
And thinking about the reason why he had the headache, and his eyes darkened, "That old man!" he gritted his teeth, thinking about the woman his father had sent him, and who had even dared to drug him, causing him a headache. But he had walked away from there, after warning the woman to not try anything funny.
But then when he tried to get out of the sheets, he discovered himself in the bare state. And unlike, Dove, who at first couldn't remember anything at all, Dante remembered that he shared the night with a girl. A girl who wasn't the one who had drugged him.
