“Brian, I’m still pregnant with your child. Can you control yourself? Look at you, you clearly look like you hate me to death, yet you still want to possess me. Have you secretly fallen for me?”

“You’re Mrs. Ford, and you’re obligated to satisfy me. Who cares if I hate you or not? You’re mine, and I don’t have to take advantage of you.”

Brian’s words seemed to be right. Olivia was at a loss for words and did not know how to refute him. Just the title of Mrs. Ford was enough to tie her and Brian together.

Olivia felt a little regretful. She had lived for two lifetimes, but she had never experienced love. There was only hatred and revenge. She felt like she had lived a very miserable life. It felt like she had everything, but she also felt like she had nothing.

The corners of Olivia’s eyes were a little sore when she was suddenly thrown onto the bed. The bed was soft and elastic, interrupting her thoughts. She subconsciously covered herself with her hands, afraid that Brian would do something to her.

Brian was amused by the woman on the bed. He didn’t do anything to Olivia and just laid on the side. When Olivia let her guard down, Brian pressed on her.

When Olivia woke up, it was already the next morning. She felt sore all over. She opened her eyes and looked at Brian beside her. He was sleeping peacefully, and his breathing was even. His perfect side profile appeared in front of her, and Olivia had an indescribable feeling in her heart.

Brian suddenly woke up. Olivia pulled up the blanket and covered her face.

Brian smiled. He pulled open the blanket and stared at Olivia as though he was enjoying the expression on her face.

Olivia wanted to get up, but Brian held her firmly in his arms. He gently kissed her forehead before letting go of her.

“Go take a shower. Then we’ll go downstairs for breakfast together.”

Brian’s voice was hoarse from just waking up. His voice was so gentle that it almost melted Olivia. She was in disbelief. Did that voice really come from the Tyrant King—Brian?

Brian’s interest was piqued when he saw her like this.

“Why? Are you infatuated with my body? Or are you reluctant to leave me?”

Olivia rolled her eyes. How could this man have such a shameless side to him?

This was different from the rumors about Brian, the ones claiming that he did not get close to women, that he was cold and ruthless, that he did not like to speak, and that he was extremely overbearing.

“You’re thinking too much. I’m suspecting that you didn’t take your medicine because you just woke up today. Otherwise, why would you act so abnormally? And you even…”

Before Olivia could finish her sentence, she stood up and walked towards the bathroom.

Brian did not stay idle either and followed her.

Olivia stared at Brian warily. “What are you doing?”

“You’re not the only one who wants to shower. I want to shower too.”

Brian opened a door and walked into another bathroom.

The maid had already prepared breakfast.

Commander Ford ran back and sat on the sofa. When he heard that his grandson and daughter-in-law weren’t up yet, he had a smile on his face. He asked the maid to make a nourishing soup for the pregnant Olivia.

Olivia and Brian appeared at the corner of the stairs at the same time.

Someone was happy while another one was sad.

Commander Ford smiled at the harmonious duo while Laura gnashed his teeth. She wished that the person beside Brian was herself.

“Brother Brian, you guys are so lazy. You’ve only just woken up at this time, unlike grandpa, who had already returned from his morning jog. You’ve already missed the best timing for breakfast, so the senior has to wait for you.”

Olivia looked at Laura. She really lacked education.

“Laura, take a good look. This is my husband’s personal villa. Grandpa is here to see us, not to trouble us. You are just a guest. How can a guest come and lecture us? If you are hungry, you can eat the breakfast we prepared. You don’t have to wait for us.”

Laura wanted to retort, but Olivia didn’t give her a chance to.

“Moreover, Grandpa seems to be very happy to wait for us. You’re the only one who’s unhappy. If you’re unhappy, you can leave as soon as you wake up in the morning. We already took you in for a night last night. Why? Do you still want to stay at the Ford family and not leave?”

Olivia’s words were flawless. Laura was so angry that he had no reason to refute her. She could only seek help from Brian and Commander Ford.

“Grandpa, Brother, look at her. How can she bully me like this?”

Commander Ford acted as if he didn’t hear anything as he muttered, “I’m going to see if the soup I made is ready. You two should quickly wash your hands and prepare to eat breakfast.”

He walked toward the kitchen with a benevolent look.

Brian moved closer to Olivia and whispered, “Let’s go wash our hands quickly. We have something to do today.”

Everyone ignored Laura. She felt very upset and sat down to wait for breakfast.

The dining table was very quiet. Sitting opposite Laura was Olivia, who happened to be able to see her neck.

The strawberry mark on Olivia’s neck stung Laura’s eyes. She clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her flesh, but she did not feel any pain. Looking at the food, she realized that Brian had never liked carrots in his soup. The ingredients in the soup looked like they were meant for pregnant women.

Laura pointed at a piece of carrot and asked Brian, “Brother, I thought you didn’t like carrots?

“In the past, because Brian didn’t like to eat carrots, I also stopped eating carrots since I was young. Now that I see it on the table, I definitely have to ask clearly.”

“I don’t like it, but your sister-in-law should nourish herself. After all, she’s pregnant with my child.”

Olivia was scalded by the corn that had just entered her mouth.

Had she misheard!?

Brian had personally acknowledged her as his wife. Perhaps the sun really rose from the west today.

The news of Olivia’s pregnancy had been like a bolt out of the blue. Laura was unwilling to believe it, but Brian did not look like he was joking. His expression was very serious.

Laura didn’t say anything else either. She quietly finished her food, then left in a daze.

Brian waited for Olivia and prepared to bring her out.

“Where are we going?”

She looked at Brian in confusion. This was not his style at all.

“You’re Mrs. Ford, after all. Look at those clothes of yours. Where’s the disposition of a rich lady? How dare you go out like that? Aren’t you afraid of embarrassing the Ford family?”

Although his tone was filled with dissatisfaction toward Olivia, she definitely understood Brian’s motive for doing so.

Soon, Brian took her to the largest shopping center in New York City. Those who could come here to spend money were all wealthy people.

The monthly income of the people working there was comparable to a professional white-collar worker, and the group leaders of this mall were no less than the managers of an ordinary company.

There was a video conference that came at the last minute, and Brian had to attend it. Thus, Brian let Olivia walk around by herself first, and he would look for her later.

As she approached a clothing store, a beautiful dress with a black swan pattern attracted Olivia’s attention. She was about to reach out to touch the quality of the dress when the sales assistant stopped her.

“Don’t move. Don’t touch that dress.”

Following the sales assistant’s shout, many shoppers looked over. They all wanted to join in the fun and watch Olivia embarrass herself.

The sales assistant hurried over, looking like she was protecting her son.

The sales assistant sized up Olivia from head to toe. She was wearing the dress of a certain small brand and looked a little worn.

“Miss, this is one of the most famous clothing stores in New York City. This kind of expensive dress was custom-made by a private contact of the store manager. The one you wanted to touch just now was custom-made by Miss Smith.”

Olivia was a bit speechless. The sales assistant was neither servile nor overbearing, so she couldn’t find any fault with her.

“So? What do you want to say? After explaining so much, you’re just trying to make your shop appear classy.”

Olivia wasn’t used to giving in to others. She may have been bullied in her previous life, but not in this one.
