Mr.CEO's Pampered Wife

Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Get Out of My Sight_1

The room was a mess, as though a tornado had just swept through it.

Clothes, skirts, pants, shorts, straps, and more had been pulled out from the wardrobe and thrown all around.

Even the coquettish laughter of a woman rang out: "Haoyu, does this look good?"

"Whatever, as long as you like it." The voice belonged to Zheng Haoyu.

Su Nian's room, in fact, was quite large, the same as Zheng Haoyu's.

The second floor originally had two master bedrooms. One was Zheng Haoyu's and the other became Su Nian's when she moved in, because as the butler, Mrs. Li, had said, no one had lived in this room before.

Connected to the bedroom was a large dressing room. Although she herself didn't like shopping, as a designer, she, of course, had no lack of clothes.

At the very least, she made sure to keep a piece from each of her limited-edition designs, whether for preservation or simply as a collection.

But never did she imagine that all her clothes would be pulled out and thrown on the floor.

Anger surged through her. Su Nian was so furious she could hardly breathe.

"Get out." Su Nian's voice, as cold as a bone-chilling winter breeze, pierced the two people in the room.

The woman looked startled and turned to Zheng Haoyu.

Zheng Haoyu acted as if he hadn't heard Su Nian. His eyes remained calm and he sat still, murmuring, "Keep choosing."

"I said get out. Didn't you hear me?" Her voice seemingly colder than before; it was clear that anger had overtaken usually calm Su Nian.

The woman was genuinely frightened to touch the clothes again, and nervously looked back at Su Nian.

"Who told you to touch my clothes?"

But then, Zheng Haoyu pointed at the woman with a wave, "Not you, it was her."

"Mr. Zheng." The woman anxiously glanced at Su Nian's somber face. Frightened to the point of tears, she hurriedly explained: "I'm - I'm sorry, my clothes got stained with red wine, and I..."

The young woman, who watched Su Nian slowly approach, was so frightened she forgot what she was going to say.

"Stained with red wine? Can it not be worn anymore?" Su Nian's mind seemed a bit hazy with rage, but her voice was eerily calm.

The woman hastily nodded. She had never heard of such a woman residing in Mr. Zheng's house.

Su Nian looked the woman up and down, then turned to leave, saying as she went, "Alright, wait for a moment. I will bring you something."

Zheng Haoyu looked startled. This was unexpected.

The woman was also taken aback, thinking Su Nian was some formidable character. Turns out she was a fool.

The dragging sound of slippers could be heard again as Su Nian came back holding a bottle of an unknown substance. She poured it over the woman, soaking her from head to foot.

"Ah..." The woman screamed. Now she looked worse than even a drenched chicken, not just a woman with dirty clothes.

Zheng Haoyu was truly stunned now. He had wondered why Su Nian had been so calm. So, it was because she was planning a counterattack here.

What is that saying? Ah, right! Behind tranquility, there hides a greater storm.

"Can you wear it now?" Su Nian asked calmly.

Su Nian's voice woke the terrified woman. She was crouching, hands over her head. She abruptly stood up, and shouted loudly, "I will fight you."

Her hands reached out for Su Nian. Su Nian eyed the woman's long fingernails, knowing that she would be disfigured if scratched. Instantly, she grabbed the woman's hands.

But Su Nian didn't expect the woman to have such strength. She broke free almost immediately and continued to claw at Su Nian. And so, the two women, one seeking revenge and the other self-defense, engaged in a fight.

Even the clothes in the dressing room became weapons. Of course, Su Nian wouldn't use her own designs in a fight, but the other woman had no such reservations and threw clothes here and there.

There was a swish sound as a goose yellow skirt landed on Zheng Haoyu's head. Yet, neither woman noticed.

Zheng Haoyu's face darkened, and he roared, "Everyone stop!"

The loud voice stunned both of them. They looked back vacantly at Zheng Haoyu, who yanked the skirt off his head and glared at the woman, "Get out."

"Mr. Zheng…" The woman lost her previous audacity. She rubbed her hands together nervously as the wine dripped from her hair down onto the floor.

"I told you to get out." Zheng Haoyu's tone was heavy, and the woman knew it was time to leave, no matter how humiliating it was.

She wiped away her impending tears and walked out of the room with bowed head.

"Come back." For some reason, Zheng Haoyu called her back.

The woman was overjoyed, "Mr. Zheng, you..."

But before she could finish, Zheng Haoyu handed her something, interrupting her: "Take this."

Without looking, Su Nian knew it was a check. She just didn't know how many zeroes were on it. Ah, such a wastrel.

The following month, Su Nian didn't see Zheng Haoyu. The butler, Mrs. Li, said there had been trouble at the company's branch in F City. Some issues had come up with a batch of diamond raw materials and he needed to be there to solve it.

Whether the company actually had problems or it was just Zheng Haoyu wanting to avoid her was unclear.

During this month, without Zheng Haoyu around to create a fuss, Su Nian lived blissfully. Every day she slept late into the morning, leisurely had lunch after waking up, stayed in her study until dinner time, and occasionally visited her grandfather, talked and walked with him.
