Multiverse: A journey to a fulfilling life

Two days later, Kaname stood in front of a blacksmith store in Kyoto, waiting for his weapon to be applied with the finishing touches. Inside the store, a blacksmith was putting on the finishing touches on Kanames' blade. The blacksmith was Ryuu Nimaiya, a blacksmith who had dealings with certain beings on the supernatural side. He hailed from a family he described as 'Old as the ocean on which Japan sprung' he quoted. Kaname then saw the blacksmith exit the store with his sword in tow. 

"Your sword was a strange thing to work with, it was very 'angry'" said Ryuu as he tossed the sword to Kaname with a beautiful sheath of black wood embossed with silver linings. "I don't doubt that, the metal its made from was said to be forged through pure resentment" said Kaname with a smile on his face. "I know, the metal was feisty but was the most fun to work with. Take care now" said Ryuu as he waved away Kaname who hopped onto his sword and flew off as the knowledge was instinctive.

"Man, I now have my very own sword!" Kaname exclaimed to himself. It was one of his dreams to be able to fly on a sword, if not available a broom would suffice. [Yes, congratulations! You are a step closer to achieving assimilation] said Eve as the screen had a happy emote. "Thank you Eve" said Kaname as he neared Karakura airspace. He could see his house just in the distance and sat down in the back yard.

He went to his room and began to rummage about, looking for his talismans and other bobbles and nicknacks. He experimented with his knowledge of demonic tools and was able to craft some decent ones. One he held in his hand right now was the nails of domination. It used resentment and some markings to allow the casters to control the corpses that were reanimated. It was based on the nails used in the novel to control Wen Niang. 

He packed all these into the [Inventory] space Eve had made and was getting dressed in his daoist robes of red and black. 'Man, I feel more and more comfortable in these' thought Kaname as finished tying everything together. His sword now dangled at his waist along with its sheath and his flute was on his right side in a holster. His hair was tied into a high ponytail and he also had bow and arrows stashed away as well. 

[You prepared?] asked Eve. "Yes I am" Kaname said to Eve as he looked around his room and prepared an array. An array was a formula of characters that was imbued with a spell. They served many purposes from security to defensive shields, the one Kaname was drawing was an advance barrier array that physically separated the space from the outside only allowing himself and invites inside. 

As he saw that the security arrangements were made and in place, he felt comfortable stepping into the forray that was about to happen. His knowledge of the future was spotty at best, but even he knew somewhat what is happening behind the scenes. He knew the perpetrator behind everything, well nearly everything, in this world and the plot of Grand Fisher was something he knew of that was part of 'that' mans plan. 'I need to take every precaution I know of' thought Kaname as he drew several more arrays around his home. An array for security, an anti-infiltration array, spatial locking array, etc. He took no expense and even drew with his potent blood. 

"There, I am prepared" said Kaname as he looked at the arrays he drew as they absorbed into the floor of his house and activated their magic. It was quite a simplistic art and was very intricate in what it could accomplish with the right amount of skill. It was essentially the same as the art of talisman making, instead it is more intricate and drawn everywhere, where talismans consist of paper strips. 

[Okay, ready now?] asked Eve with an exasperated smile. "Of course" said Kaname as he double checked everything and flew off. His strength now was at the Core Formation stage and his ageing is slowing down to a halt. That was the properties of core formation, eternal youth, something many immortals have strived for in many xianxia worlds. His body was strong as steel, his bones very dense, and his energy and core was now able to resist many attacks. 

Kaname was nearing the cemetery at Karakura, and a well of resentment could be felt in the area. "Unlike normally, the resentment here seems to be thicker, about 4x than usual" said Kaname. As a demonic cultivator, he knew things about stuff of this matter, and he knew the reason why. Not counting the Quincy corpse that resides here which already releases more than usual, a hollow of certain strength can inflate the energy in the area. 

"I suppose its time, right?" asked Kaname as Eve responded. [Yes, it appears the battle with Grand fisher is underway, somewhere to the west of the grave]. "Huh, I suppose I got here just in time" said Kaname as he prepared his entrance.

'Damnit, why did it have to show up here?!' thought Ichigo as he was fighting the hollow, whose name was apparently Grand Fisher. He remembered the skin it was hiding under, its lure. It was years ago, on a walk with his mother when he spotted a child in the rain. A little girl with a black bob cut and peculiar clothes. He went over their to see what was going on and he remembered what came after wards. Blood covered him as his mother shielded him from a danger he didn't see. Death was what awaited her. 

And now, the bastard makes his appearance. "For someone I should know, you don't look like much!" shouted the hollow as he lashed out with its fur as thought it was a mass of spears. "Your not a looker either you know!" shouted Ichigo, and the hollow seemed to take that personally as it winded up an attack but something crashed in at the last second, throwing it off. This 'something' eminated an aura of red as ribbons of energy now held the hollow in the air. "Hello Strawberry" said the being, and Ichigo immediately knew who it was. His headache was about to get bigger.
