"How far exactly do we have to go?" I broke the silence while gazing at Nyx who walked with steady steps.

"Where close human" Nyx left my gaze gesturing around us as the trees seemed to thin.

"It's only been a couple minutes…" I was surprised seeing colorful flowers start to appear.

'This…' Humans had no knowledge of Orion besides its location and even that was a guesstimate.

I always thought that the demon king was the only real threat, A being who could wipe a city with the wave of their hand. Yet now I was starting to realize just how horrific our enemies were. Just this forest along where only demons could transverse could kill an army if we ever directly attacked them.

'Then there's Vera and Nyx…' The petite demon and the indifferent one walking ahead.

"You'll find her majesty ahead" She turned around to face me with a blank expression that seemed to suit her.

"Thank you Nyx" I smiled but I couldn't hold myself back as I reached down grabbing her hand.

"…." Nyx only stared at me with indifference as I placed a kiss on the back of her hand.

"Are you trying to seduce me human" I was surprised when she spoke with a slightly suspicious look.

"…And what if I am" I almost coughed but calmed down and smirked toward the face of perfection.

"…." Nyx didn't respond only staring at me with narrowed eyes.

"Bye" I let her hand drop while giving her a small wave.

'The demon king….' Would I truly find the being I had been destined to fight.
