My Precious little Diamond

Chapter 5: Alex, we're home!

God complex

Alex... ahh, I just adore him. Yes, I know, it sounds odd to have feelings for someone like him, but honestly? Just because he's a virgin doesn't mean he's beneath me.

I... well, I'm Lucy, the queen bee, the shining star of this school, and let's be honest, every guy falls for me. My charm? Irresistible. But Alex... he? He doesn't even spare me a second glance. He's nothing but a mere peasant in my eyes, pathetic, really. Yet... there's something about him, something that I can't quite place.

I mean, come on, I'm perfection personified. Cute, flawless, and yes, I have a chest that could make anyone jealous. Not that I'm showing off or anything. It's just who I am.

A goddess, untouchable by anyone... except one thing, true love. Ugh. That is the only thing that could intimidate me, but thank the heavens, I don't need it. And if anyone knew my darkest secret? I'm a virgin. A virgin. Do you know what would happen if that ever got out? I'd be ruined. Ruined.

And then there's Alex. Out of all the guys in the school, why him? Why him, of all people? But... I find him so... intriguing. He always seems so tired, like he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. He spends time with his close friends, occasionally looking at girls... including me. He has this air about him, hmm, never mind. The point is, he's different now. He's grown up, matured. It's amusing, really. He's not even an adult yet, but he looks like he could be providing for an entire family. It's laughable... but it also makes him... so fascinating.

I won't admit it aloud, but... I like him. There, I said it. But it doesn't matter, right? Because once he figures it out, he'll come crawling to me, like a dog desperate for a scrap. All I have to do is drop a hint, show him what he's missing. And honestly, I'm rich... any guy would kill for even a moment of my time. And Alex? Well, he's about to experience that privilege, whether he likes it or not.

There's no doubt in my mind... he'll fall for me. I guarantee it.

I had finally made up my mind. Today was the day I would talk to him, to make him see just how perfect I am. How could he not notice me? After all, I'm Lucy, the queen bee of this entire school. Every guy falls at my feet, worships me, except him.

As I rounded the corner, ready to march up to Alex, I froze. What the hell is this?

There he was, Alex, but... he wasn't alone. A woman was with him, walking by his side, and my eyes instantly narrowed. She was tall, with curves that could make anyone stop in their tracks. Her legs... so long and shapely, her thighs thick, and her bust? Well, she certainly wasn't shy about it.

I couldn't help the rush of irritation that flooded my chest. Who does she think she is? She was clearly flaunting her body, yet I the queen of this school wasn't even the one getting Alex's attention.

I had to admit, she was... stunning. Her confident stride, the way she held herself,.it was as though she knew the effect she had on everyone around her. But that didn't matter. I was still the one who controlled this place. No one, no matter how perfect they seemed, would ever dethrone me.

But then I saw something that made my blood boil: Alex. His usual cold, distant expression? Gone. Instead, there was something softer in his gaze as he glanced at her. It was as if he... cared about her.

What the hell?

I wasn't one to get jealous, but this... this woman had something, something I couldn't quite place. But no. I was Lucy. I was the one who owned every room I walked into. I wasn't going to let some random woman steal what was rightfully mine.

I walked up to them, chin raised, confident as ever. "So," I began, my voice dripping with that perfect mix of superiority and sweetness, "who's this?"

Alex looked at me, a little too casually, and introduced her. "This is Emilia. She's... a new student."

I blinked, trying to suppress my surprise. New student? I'd never seen her before. But it didn't matter. What mattered was the way Alex was talking to her, as though she wasn't just another girl. There was something... different about her.

The woman, Emilia smirked at me, her gaze holding a strange challenge. It was almost as if she knew exactly what I was thinking. Annoying.

"Nice to meet you, Lucy," Emilia purred, her voice smooth, almost mocking. But Alex? He barely seemed to notice the tension.

I could feel my heart beat a little faster, but I would never show it. I was better than this. I was untouchable. I turned away, forcing a smile. "It's nice to meet you too," I said, though it was clear I couldn't care less.

In that moment, I had an unsettling realization. This woman, this Emilia wasn't just a pretty face. She wasn't even a challenge. No, she was something else. Something I couldn't quite figure out. But that didn't matter. I was Lucy, the one who controlled everything here. I could make Alex notice me.

Because no one, not even her, could resist me for long. I was... too perfect.

A rival

Lucy watched them for a moment longer, her gaze burning with an intensity she couldn't quite control. Who does she think she is? That woman, Emilia, there was no way she was just some random student. Her confidence, her allure... It felt like a direct challenge. A challenge Lucy had never faced before.

She was used to being the one everyone wanted, the one everyone admired. No one had ever dared to take anything from her. But Emilia? She had something. Something Lucy couldn't quite put her finger on, but something that made her heart tighten with unfamiliar emotions.

No.

Lucy was the queen of this school. She wasn't going to let anyone, especially some woman who clearly thought she could just waltz in and steal her spotlight, get in her way.

She straightened up, shoulders back, eyes narrowing in determination. If this woman thinks she can just walk in and take what's mine, she's sorely mistaken.

"I don't know who you think you are," Lucy muttered, her voice dripping with arrogance as she turned toward Emilia. "But if you think you're going to take my place here, you're sorely mistaken."

Emilia only smiled, that same confident, almost knowing smile that made Lucy's blood boil. "Oh, I'm not interested in your place," she replied smoothly, almost too sweetly. "But if you insist on thinking you have one, I guess I'll let you have it."

Lucy felt her fists clench. There was something in the way Emilia spoke, something mocking, almost like she was toying with Lucy's very sense of identity. Like she was daring her to try.

"I don't need to take anyone's place," Lucy snapped back, her voice sharp, filled with venom. "I'm Lucy. I'm everything. You'll see."

Alex, who had remained silent this whole time, finally spoke, though his tone was indifferent, like it was all just a passing amusement to him. "Ladies, no need to fight."

But Lucy wasn't listening to him. She was too caught up in the rage, in the challenge that Emilia had thrown down. She was not going to let some woman, no matter how confident, no matter how beautiful, dare to think she could stand next to her.

"I don't care who you are," Lucy continued, her words clipped. "I'll make you regret crossing me."

Emilia only laughed, a rich, deep sound that sent a shiver down Lucy's spine. "We'll see about that."

And with that, the clash had begun. It wasn't just a battle for attention or pride anymore. It was a battle of wills, of dominance. Lucy's desire to be the best, to always be the one everyone looked at, collided headfirst with Emilia's cool confidence, her quiet power. Neither woman was willing to back down.

Little did Lucy know, the stakes were far higher than she could ever imagine. She was challenging someone who had already conquered what Lucy could only dream of and who had a far deeper connection to Alex than she could ever guess.

But that didn't matter right now. All that mattered was this, her, Lucy, proving that no one was better than her. Not even Emilia.

An Unexpected visit

As the heated words between Lucy and Emilia echoed down the hall, the scene inside Alex's house couldn't have been more different.

In the backyard, the demon girl, was having the time of her life. The girl, is like 1 month old now and yet she was chasing after squirrels with a wild gleam in her eye, her laughter echoing as she darted around the yard with inhuman speed. Every time she caught one of the squirrels, she'd spit fire from her mouth, sending the tiny creatures scurrying for cover in a frantic panic.

It was playful, in a way, but also terrifying, after all, she wasn't just a normal child. She was a demon.

Meanwhile, inside the house, things were eerily quiet. Alex had been preoccupied with his own thoughts, trying to ignore the chaos unfolding in front of him. He wasn't concerned about the demon girl's antics, she did this often, but when he heard the front door creak open, his eyes shot wide. He hadn't expected them back today.

His parents.

His mother and father walked through the door, looking exhausted but content after their long work trip. Alex quickly tried to hide his unease. His parents weren't supposed to be here, they were always out working, living their lives far away from the strange situation their son had created. But now, their unexpected return had thrown everything off balance.

"Alex, we're home, ahh he must be at school," his father's voice rang out from the hallway. They were used to being gone for extended periods, so their return was always a surprise. But today, as they stepped into the living room and caught sight of what was happening just beyond the window, their expressions shifted.

Alex's mother was the first to speak. Her eyes widened, her mouth dropping open in shock. "What in the world...?"

Standing in the yard, their granddaughter, who wasn't biologically theirs, of course, was having a little too much fun. The small demon girl was spitting fire, her little arms outstretched as she chased after the now-terrified squirrels. The flames licked the air, scorching the grass in her path, while her giggles rang out with an eerie innocence.

Alex's father froze, unable to comprehend what he was seeing. "Wait... who is that? What is she doing here?" he murmured,

His father's eyes widened, and his mother's face paled as they took in the reality of the situation. They didn't fully understand, but it didn't matter. The truth was undeniable.

Alex's parents had just witnessed their grandchild, a demon child, spitting fire in their yard, and there was nothing they could do about it. The tension in the room thickened as the weight of the moment sank in.

"Um...fuck?"
