Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Because Barbara Never Had a Home

"Oh," Barbara nodded, somewhat understanding.

"I'll apply some to your face as well, to get rid of the slap mark," Zeng Shen said, as he gently applied the water-soaked cotton swab to her delicate face.

This time, Barbara didn't try to avoid it. She closed her eyes, feeling a sense of anticipation that the slap mark on her face would disappear.

The cool sensation on her face gave her an inexplicable feeling of being cared for, a sensation that seemed to momentarily erase all her unpleasant experiences.

"All done," Zeng Shen said.

Barbara opened her bright blue eyes and looked into the car's rearview mirror. The slap mark from Panther Sister had completely disappeared from her face.

At that moment, she felt a joy she'd never experienced before, a joy akin to a woman dressing up for someone she cares about. She turned her head, her eyes reflecting Zeng Shen's image, and said softly, "Thank you, big brother."

"Thank me for what?" Zeng Shen replied with a gentle smile, getting up to move to the driver's seat and driving toward the Golden Panther Bar on the adjacent street.

Soon, Zeng Shen parked the car in a secluded corner and input a command to transform it into a truck later. He then walked with Barbara to the entrance of the Golden Panther Bar, where two Black security guards in white swim trunks stopped them.

"Sir, Miss, tonight's theme is a swimsuit party. Please use the changing rooms over there. There are plenty of swimsuits you can buy and change into," one of the guards said.

Zeng Shen nodded and led Barbara to the changing rooms. When Zeng Shen emerged from the men's changing room, he was wearing colorful boxer shorts and flip-flops.

Barbara, however, only took off her boots, leaving her slender white feet in black stockings and sandals, still wearing her short black leather outfit.

"Aren't you changing into a swimsuit?" Zeng Shen asked.

"The lady selling swimsuits said my outfit is short and sexy enough, so I don't need to change," Barbara replied.

"Oh, it is quite short," Zeng Shen remarked, glancing at her before leading her to the bar.

This time, the security guards didn't stop them, only asking Zeng Shen to scan a $10 entrance fee before letting them in.

As they stepped through the foam-padded soundproof doors of the Golden Panther Bar, Zeng Shen felt like he'd entered a new world.

Looking around, he marveled at how wild the foreigners could be.

The Golden Panther Bar was large and spacious, with neon lights flashing in all colors from the ceiling. Intense and provocative music played intermittently.

In the center of the bar was a large pool filled with water, about 70 square meters in size and one meter deep. Many young men and women, some in sexy swimsuits and others with nothing, were dancing, twisting, and shouting in the water.

In the middle of the pool was a large platform with over a dozen sexy, scantily-clad women exuding pheromones, shaking their enticing bodies in thongs.

Around the edges of the pool were bar booths, each shaped like a large, inflatable, water-filled cylinder in various colors.

Some of these booths had tables and chairs with groups of naked people sitting around, while others had just a couple, engaging in intimate acts.

The sight left Zeng Shen a bit stunned; he was impressed by the openness and couldn't help but wonder if he should transform the wonder pub in his divine realm into something like this after the apocalypse when the animals evolved into charming intelligent species.

As Zeng Shen was lost in thought, Barbara suddenly pulled his hand, saying, "Big brother, let's dance in the big pool first."

She quickly led Zeng Shen over the steps into the pool.

The water was warm. As soon as they stepped in, Barbara began dancing energetically, her body moving like a snake.

Zeng Shen followed suit, joining in the dance.

Perhaps influenced by the atmosphere, Zeng Shen occasionally moved closer to Barbara, his body swaying against hers.

At the same time, he couldn't help but inhale the unique scent of the Lolita girl.

After a few minutes of this, Zeng Shen, feeling overwhelmed by the atmosphere, led Barbara out of the pool and into a smaller, water-filled booth.

As soon as they sat down, Barbara grabbed a drink from a passing bartender's tray and handed it to Zeng Shen, saying, "Big brother, here's a drink for you."

Zeng Shen took the drink but didn't sip it.

Barbara lifted her glass to him, "Big brother, I'm so happy dancing tonight. Let's toast."

"Cheers," Zeng Shen clinked glasses with her, took a sip, and set his drink down.

Barbara, however, downed her drink in one go, then grabbed a bottle of strong liquor from a bartender, refilling her glass.

She clinked glasses with Zeng Shen again, "Big brother, another toast."

"Sure," Zeng Shen sipped his drink again, continuing the pattern as Barbara repeatedly filled her glass and drank deeply.

After several rounds, Barbara finished the entire bottle, swaying slightly and leaning against Zeng Shen, clearly tipsy.

"Big brother, I'm so hot and a little drunk," she slurred.

"I know. Let me take you home," Zeng Shen offered.

"No, take me to the hotel next door," Barbara replied.

"Why not home?" Zeng Shen asked.

"Big brother, you're so silly," Barbara's eyes were glazed, her voice a mix of laughter and tears, "because Barbara never had a home."

Zeng Shen paused, then gently lifted Barbara in a bridal carry, saying, "Because you've been controlled since childhood?"

Barbara trembled at his words, biting her lip as a tear slipped down her cheek.

"Alright, I understand," Zeng Shen said, holding her gaze.

With that, he carried Barbara to the hotel next door, booked a room, and laid her on the bed, covering her with a blanket before heading out to deal with the tail following them.

But Barbara suddenly grabbed his hand.

"Where are you going, big brother?"

"To report to the police and get those controlling you arrested," Zeng Shen replied bluntly.

"No, big brother, don't," Barbara shook her head in panic. "It won't work."

"How do you know if you don't try?" Zeng Shen smiled gently.

"They're in on it," Barbara said urgently, just as the sound of police sirens filled the air outside.

"Maybe not anymore," Zeng Shen grinned, leaning down to lift Barbara in his arms and carrying her to the window.
