Myriad Realms Strongest Family

Chapter 5: Itachi Uchiha

The room was heavy with silence after Yunfeng's awakening. The elders stood in a tight circle, their faces filled with worry. No one had expected such power from the young boy. The energy he had released shook them all.

"I'm afraid this will bring danger to the clan," Zhao Liang, the second elder, said, his voice low as he paced back and forth.

"This level of power will surely attract unwanted attention. Spirit Hall will never ignore something like this."

"Exactly," another elder agreed.

"We need to keep Yunfeng's strength hidden, or we risk everything. The enemies of our clan won't hesitate to strike if they learn of this."

Zhao Changqing, the Grand Elder, sighed deeply. "If they find out about this sword, the family could be in grave danger. We must act quickly to conceal Yunfeng's awakening."

The tension in the room was thick. The elders were all deeply concerned. The sword Yunfeng had awakened was far beyond anything they had ever seen. It was a danger to them as much as it was a power to wield. But how could they hide something so enormous?

Yunfeng, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up. He stood tall, his voice calm but full of confidence. "I can handle it," he said.

The room fell silent, and all eyes turned toward him. His words carried a weight that made even the most experienced elders stop and think.

"Yunfeng," Zhao Tianwei, his father, said with concern, "Your power... it's unimaginable. We have no idea how strong your enemies might be, especially Spirit Hall. The risks—"

Yunfeng interrupted him with a firm but respectful tone. "Trust in me. I am the fated Son of God of our family, after all."

The room seemed to hold its breath. It wasn't arrogance in Yunfeng's voice, but a quiet certainty that left no room for doubt. The elders exchanged looks, and one by one, they nodded in agreement, their worry tempered by the confidence in his words.

Zhao Tianwei, though still worried, looked at Yunfeng with a new understanding. "Very well," he said. "We'll trust you. But we must be cautious. We'll keep a close eye on everyone, and we must not speak of today's events to anyone outside this room. Understood?"

The other elders nodded in agreement, their voices low but firm. "Understood."

Yunfeng smiled, reassured. "I'll handle it. I'll make sure our family stays safe. And when the time comes, I will lead our family to greatness."

His words filled the room with a new sense of purpose. The elders, despite their worries, could not help but believe him. He was the fated one, after all. And they would trust in him, even if the road ahead was uncertain.

As the conversation settled, Yunfeng's mind began to focus on something else. The System had been silent for a while, but now it suddenly spoke.

[Ding! Task issued: Become the Zhao Family's Patriarch.]

[Reward: Level 60 Itachi Uchiha with Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan (Growable).]

[Description: Itachi Uchiha was an extraordinarily skilled and powerful ninja, known for his mastery of the Sharingan and its advanced forms. A genius strategist and fighter, he possessed unmatched abilities in genjutsu, ninjutsu, and speed. However, he is not yet accustomed to the rules of this world, and his Sharingan has become a spirit with no spirit rings.]

Yunfeng's heart raced as he read through the task and the reward. The name "Itachi Uchiha" was enough to stir something deep inside him. He had heard of the legendary ninja in his previous life.

A master of the Sharingan. His genjutsu, ninjutsu, and speed were unparalleled. Having such power would be a huge advantage for Yunfeng.

His excitement, however, was quickly tempered by the reality of the situation. Becoming the Patriarch of the Zhao Family was not as simple as it seemed. While the title was highly prestigious, it was, in fact, more of a formality.

The real patriarch had been missing for many years. Ever since Yunfeng had been born, the patriarch had not been seen, and the position had remained empty.

The Grand Elder, Zhao Changqing, was the de facto leader of the clan, not because he held the title of Patriarch, but because of his strength and influence. He was a level 63 Soul King, stronger than most of the other elders in the clan.

But the patriarch's title? That was an empty position. If the real patriarch ever returned, they could easily replace Yunfeng.

The position had no real power until someone claimed it for themselves, and Yunfeng knew that once he was named the Patriarch, he'd still need to secure his position against any potential threats.

That's where Itachi Uchiha came in.

Yunfeng knew that with the power of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, he would be able to outclass even the Grand Elder, who, while strong, wasn't on Itachi's level.

With the Mangekyo Sharingan, Yunfeng would have the perfect tool to solidify his position as Patriarch. He would become untouchable.

The System had offered him the perfect power to make his claim as the rightful leader of the Zhao Family. He could already imagine the fear and respect he'd command with Itachi's abilities backing him up.

Yunfeng stood up from his seat, his mind clear now. With the Mangekyo Sharingan, he would secure his position, and no one would dare challenge him.

He turned to Zhao Changqing, the Grand Elder, who was still deep in thought, looking at the other elders. "Grand Elder," Yunfeng said firmly, "I must become the Patriarch. It is the only way to lead the Zhao Family forward."

Zhao Changqing looked at Yunfeng, his gaze sharp. "You understand what this means, Yunfeng. You'll be facing a lot of responsibility. This family has been without a true Patriarch for a long time, and that power vacuum has caused us trouble. But if you want the position, you'll have to prove yourself."

Yunfeng met his eyes without hesitation. "I will prove myself. With the power I've awakened, I will ensure the Zhao Family becomes stronger than ever."

The Grand Elder considered Yunfeng's words for a long moment, his face unreadable. The others in the room watched in silence, some skeptical, others intrigued.

Finally, Zhao Changqing nodded. "Very well. If you believe you are ready, then I will support your claim. But remember, Yunfeng, this family's future will rest on your shoulders. No one can claim the title lightly."

Yunfeng gave a small nod, his voice steady. "Trust in me, Grand Elder. I will lead this clan to greatness."

With that, the Grand Elder stood and addressed the elders. "From this day forward, Yunfeng shall be the Patriarch of the Zhao Family. He will lead us into the future, and none shall challenge his authority."

The room fell silent for a moment before the elders began to murmur among themselves. Some were still uncertain, but the Grand Elder's word was law. The decision was final.

As soon as the formalities were over, Yunfeng's mind turned to the next matter. The system had issued him a task, and with it, a powerful reward.

[Ding! Task completed: Become the Zhao Family's Patriarch.][Reward: Level 60 Itachi Uchiha with Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan (Growable).]

[Do you wish to summon Itachi Uchiha now?]

'Well, that was easy...'

Yunfeng glanced around at the still-present elders. The room was full, and it wouldn't be wise to summon such a powerful figure in front of everyone. He hesitated for a moment but then declined.

"No," he whispered to himself. "Not yet."

With the task done, the atmosphere in the room started to shift. The Grand Elder made arrangements for a grand banquet, inviting all those who had participated in today's events. Yunfeng didn't feel like joining, though. Instead, he headed straight to his courtyard.

Once inside, he closed the door behind him and focused on the task at hand. He opened the system interface and summoned Itachi Uchiha.

A figure appeared in front of him—a man with black hair, wearing a cloak with a red cloud pattern. His eyes were a deep shade of red, and his gaze was sharp and calculating. This was Itachi Uchiha, the legendary ninja, now bound to Yunfeng.

Yunfeng studied him for a moment, his curiosity getting the best of him. "Itachi… tell me, what do you remember?"

Itachi's voice was calm, almost distant. "I… I don't remember much. Only combat experience, only fighting. I don't even remember my life, but… something tells me to serve you. Something deep inside urges me to serve you and your family."

Yunfeng's brow furrowed. "You don't remember anything? No past, no memories?"

Itachi's gaze seemed distant as he shook his head. "No… only the battles, the fights. But… I can feel the need to protect you, to serve you. It's all I know now."

Yunfeng shook his head, not wanting to dwell too much on the mystery of Itachi's lost memories. He had a feeling it was the system's doing, and there was little point in overthinking it. What mattered now was the power at his disposal, and how he could use it to his advantage.

Itachi was standing there, awaiting his next command, his expression calm, but his eyes held a sense of loyalty, unquestionable loyalty. Yunfeng glanced at the man, who had once been feared across the world.

But even with all this power, Yunfeng couldn't help but wonder about one thing. Could he truly trust Itachi? After all, this man had lost his memories. Was his loyalty genuine, or was it something that could be broken?

Without hesitation, Yunfeng turned to the system.

"System," he asked, his tone steady,

"Is Itachi truly loyal to me? Can I trust him completely?"

The system's response came immediately.

[Ding! The host's current summoned entity, Itachi Uchiha, has no chance of betraying the host. The system has ensured that all summoned beings will have full loyalty to the host.]

Yunfeng's eyes narrowed slightly as he processed the answer. The system was clear. There was no chance of betrayal.

A wave of relief washed over Yunfeng. For now, there was no need to worry about betrayal. He had an incredibly powerful ally at his side, one that would fight for him without question.

"Good," Yunfeng muttered to himself, satisfied with the answer.

Yunfeng stood tall, a sense of purpose filling him.

"Now," he said with a determined smile, "let's see what we can do next."

Itachi nodded silently, ready to follow wherever Yunfeng led.

He snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed something on his map. The two red dots he had seen earlier, the Spirit Hall spies, were now moving away from his family's estate.

Yunfeng's eyes narrowed. "So they're leaving now, huh?"

He stood up, the pieces falling into place. The banquet was over, and everyone was free to return home. But Yunfeng knew the two spies wouldn't just leave quietly. They would go back to report to Spirit Hall.

Yunfeng smirked coldly, his eyes filled with determination. "You think I wouldn't have noticed you two rats?"

Itachi, who had been silently observing, nodded. "Young Master, shall we follow them?"

Yunfeng's smirk grew wider. "Yes, we'll follow them. Let's see what they're up to."

Without wasting another moment, Yunfeng and Itachi slipped out of the courtyard and into the night, shadows in the darkness. They moved quietly, following the two red dots on the map.
