Nano Machine: I Will Steal the Protagonist’ Destiny!!

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Training (1)

The crackling of the fire gives off a soothing atmosphere, with the shade of the night in partnership with the cold wind comforting It's like ASMR.

It was a solace of momentary comfort.

Yucheon looked at the book handed to him by his father and read the title.

Lightning Cultivation

The very foundation of the Lightning Step Clan's martial arts. A martial art that mimicked the ferocity and speed of lightning..

Opening the book, he began to read. The first page offered an overview of the technique, explaining its fundamental principles:

---

Lightning Cultivation was created to mimic the ferocity, speed, and precision of lightning. By observing the nature of storms, the pioneers of this art discovered that Qi, when manipulated correctly, could simulate the explosive power of a lightning strike.

At its core, Lightning Cultivation emphasized two key components:

Qi Gathering: Drawing Qi from the environment required sharp focus. The practitioner must visualize themselves as a storm, pulling energy from the surroundings like clouds gathering moisture before a thunderstorm.

Lightning Circulation: Once gathered, the Qi must circulate rapidly through the meridians. The speed of circulation was key, as it created the "lightning effect"—a state where Qi became volatile, amplifying speed, strength, and reflexes.

However, the technique came with risks. The rapid circulation of Qi caused immense strain on the body and mind. For beginners, overexertion could lead to Qi deviation, resulting in severe injuries or death.

For Qi Gathering. To begin, one must meditate and synchronize their breathing with the rhythm of nature. Focus on the sounds around you—the rustling leaves, the chirping insects, the subtle hum of the wind. Imagine these sounds as electric currents, flowing into your core.

Visualize your dantian (the energy center within the body) as a storm cloud, absorbing the ambient Qi and condensing it into energy. Feel the Qi as static electricity coursing through your veins, crackling and alive.

Lightning Circulation: Once the Qi is gathered, circulate it through the meridians at high speed. Start by directing the flow to the primary meridian pathways, moving it in short, sharp bursts. With practice, these bursts will become continuous, mimicking the relentless flow of a lightning storm. Focus on the heart meridian to amplify speed. Utilize the leg meridians to enhance maneuverability. Direct Qi to the palm and finger meridians for precision strikes.

The final component emphasized explosive movements. When attacking, visualize a lightning bolt striking the earth—swift, direct, and devastating. Every strike should embody this principle: no wasted energy, no hesitation, only raw power and speed.

---

Yucheon's eyes gleamed as he read. It all made sense, albeit in a daunting way. This was no ordinary martial art; it demanded a precise balance of control, visualization, and endurance. But he wasn't afraid. If anything, he was eager.

Closing the book, he sat straight, his tiny body still against the chill of the night. He followed the first step: Qi Gathering.

---

For three hours, he focused. His breathing slowed as he tuned into the sounds of the forest—the rustling of the leaves, the distant call of an owl, the subtle hum of life. He imagined these sounds as electrical currents, flowing invisibly around him. Slowly, he drew them in, focusing them into his dantian.

A faint tingling sensation spread through his body, like static electricity dancing across his skin.

"It's working,"he whispered.

With his Qi gathered, he moved on to Lightning Circulation. Following the instructions in the book, he directed the energy through his meridians. The sensation was sharp and intense, like needles prickling beneath his skin. He gritted his teeth, enduring the discomfort as he visualized the Qi racing through his body in bursts.

By the time he got the hang of the basic circulation, the first light of dawn began to creep over the horizon. Exhausted but exhilarated, Yucheon stood, testing the results of his training.

He took a deep breath and visualized the Qi in his dantian condensing like a thundercloud ready to burst. Then, with a sharp exhale, he dashed forward.

The burst of speed startled him. His small body moved faster than it ever had before, closing the distance between himself and a nearby tree in the blink of an eye. He stumbled slightly, his feet unsteady, but a wide grin spread across his face.

"Incredible!" he exclaimed, his voice echoing through the empty manor grounds.

With determination, Yucheon returned to the book, ready to refine his understanding and push himself further.

For the first time in his short life, he felt the thrill of true power. He finally regained the reason why he loved martial arts.

This is it.

He was so engrossed with his training that he didn't notice that everyone was back. Her mother wanted to run towards him and hug him but when she saw the gleaming light of determination in his eyes, she just smiled and let him be.

******

Learning how to use Lightning Cultivation this early on is exciting, but at this point this is wrong. After I used Lightning Cultivation my entire body screamed in pain.

I can use it but his body can't withstand it. You don't pour your drink on a faulty cup. As much as I wish to spam this, my body can't keep up with it. I would only destroy this body and alongside it destroy my future.

First to freely use this cultivation, I must establish a strong and sturdy foundation. You can't build a castle atop of sand.

It would only crumble at the slightest wind. To master the advance you must first go through the basics.

And that's exactly what I Would do. After this day's training session I would go to the Main Manor and request my father to give me a teacher that will teach me the basics.

Some may think that this would be unwise, thinking "ohh I thought you were talented! I thought you're gonna be a lone wolf? Why would you ask for help from your father?"

That kind of mindset is not the proper mindset to tackle this situation. I have a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to the plot but only the plot, I do not have enough martial knowledge to think I can do this on my own without butchering my future.

These people have been here for longer than me, their knowledge is built by thousands of years of training and improvement. I would be utterly foolish to think I can match them with just a year of being here.
