Naruto: Dimensional Fraud

Chapter 5: chapter 5

On Monday morning, Ming polished his appearance and set off for the Ninja School. He had initially assumed that Sarutobi Hiruzen would arrange for the five Uzumaki members to reside together, but he was taken aback to find that each person was assigned a separate room, with considerable distances between them, as if they wanted to avoid any encounters.

Even though he was officially a Genin, Ming Zao was confident that his combat skills matched those of a Chunin. He reached the designated office of the Ninja School in less than ten minutes, a journey that would typically take half an hour.

"Ming!"

Kushina, who was already waiting at the entrance, was taken aback and waved to greet him. Ming smiled back and playfully pinched Kushina's chubby little face, saying, "It's been a while, Kushina."

Accustomed to Ming's playful gestures, Kushina merely blushed slightly and didn't pull away. She lowered her gaze and shyly replied, "We… just saw each other yesterday, right?"

"Alas, it's all because of that old man Sandaime who put us so far apart. By the way! Starting today, I'll be moving in with you, Kushina." Ming complained first, then added something that made Kushina even more embarrassed.

"Ming, you should refer to him as Hokage-sama!" Uzumaki Narei, who had also arrived, remarked worriedly after hearing Ming call Sarutobi Hiruzen "old man."

Ming merely shrugged and didn't respond. After five minutes, the last two arrivals, Uzumaki Ryuko and Uzumaki Ryuka, came in. A male ninja, around 25 years old, stepped out of the office and addressed everyone: "Are you all here? I am Chiba Kazang, the instructor overseeing your time at the Ninja School."

Chiba Kazang continued, "Although four of you are already Genin, there are also several exceptional students in the larger class who are staying at the school temporarily due to the war. Don't let your guard down."

As he spoke, Chiba Kazang led the five into the larger class.

Instantly, more than a dozen pairs of eyes turned toward them, and the five girls with red hair stood out distinctly.

Except for Ming, who walked in confidently, the other four felt somewhat uneasy under such scrutiny. Uzumaki Liuguang averted her gaze slightly, while the other three girls simply lowered their heads.

At that moment, the students in the lecture hall erupted with chatter.

"All five of them have red hair…"

"The one with her head held high looks really cool, but she seems a bit hard to approach."

"The girl at the back looks funny, like a tomato."

When Ming heard the term "tomato," his expression soured as he glared at the speaker, which startled them.

Pah!

Chiba Kazang clapped his hands to regain everyone's attention. "Everyone, these five are new classmates from Uzushio Village who have joined our Konoha. I expect everyone to get along well."

After that, Chiba Kazang turned to Ming and the others and said, "Please introduce yourselves."

"Uzumaki Akira, looking forward to your guidance." After Akira finished, he chose a seat away from everyone.

The classroom had three people per table, and the three seats around Akira were empty.

"Uzumaki Kushina." After Akira spoke, Kushina quickly stated her name and hurried to sit next to him, skipping her original line about wanting to be the first female Hokage of Konoha.

The remaining three, Uzumaki Liuguang, felt uncomfortable. Unlike their peers, who stated their names and took their seats, Akira's spot became the window seat in the last row, with Kushina and Uzumaki Narei sitting on his right.

The introductions from the five left Chiba Kazang momentarily awkward, but after a brief cough, he regained his composure. "Alright, everyone, please introduce yourselves, as we have five new students."

At Chiba Kazang's signal, other students began to step up to introduce themselves since each year saw students being eliminated or replaced in the class.

"Ah! So handsome! Minato-kun!"

"If it weren't for the war, he would have graduated by now, but I heard Minato-kun will graduate this year."

What had started as a series of mundane introductions nearly lulled Ming to sleep, but then a girl screamed excitedly. He turned to see a little boy with a spiky golden hairstyle standing at the front.

"My name is Namikaze Minato, and my dream is to become the greatest Hokage in Konoha's history. I hope for your support."

"Hehe… Prince Dad…" Ming smirked to himself.

The humble and gentle smile, combined with his dream of becoming Hokage, prompted many girls to cheer. Ming noticed that even Uzumaki Narei's eyes lit up when she glanced at Minato Namikaze.

However, at that moment, Kushina's displeased voice cut through, "Tsk! What a sissy, so gross."

Ming nearly burst into laughter at her remark, but at least it indicated that Kushina wouldn't be easily charmed by Minato Namikaze.
