Ryosuke's injuries like this definitely couldn't have been caused by himself, right? This is his only family member. Who would dare to be so bold and beat his grandson?

Seeing such a reaction from his grandfather, Ryosuke felt very moved in his heart.

But he feared that his grandfather would, like those other Uchiha clan members, seek revenge against Guy.

He hurriedly explained. "I was sparring with Might Guy, not being beaten."

"Of course, because his taijutsu is amazing." Ryosuke replied without hesitation. As for the idea that being beaten makes him stronger, he didn't say it out loud.

Hearing this reasoning, Uchiha Shin felt a bit helpless. This kid wants to grow stronger, which is good. He bent down and took the medicine from his grandson's hand. "You've grown up and have your own ideas now."

"But Grandpa still wants to remind you to be careful. Come on, give me the medicine. I'll help you apply it. There are some places you can't reach properly."

Ryosuke obediently sat still. As Uchiha Shin applied the medicine on Ryousuke's body, he massaged the area continuously, making Ryousuke feel warm and much more comfortable.

Uchiha Shin couldn't help but say, "Applying medicine and massaging forcefully allow blood circulation, which can better disperse bruises, relieve pain, and speed up recovery."

"Got it," Ryosuke replied gratefully.

This grandfather really cared for him. He definitely couldn't let his grandfather follow the path from the original storyline.

In the Konoha Police Force, inside a building marked with the giant Uchiha fan symbol, a few Uchiha clan members arrived at Captain Uchiha Fugaku's office.

One of the Uchiha members recounted the story of Might Guy sparring with Uchiha Ryosuke, resulting in a humiliation for the Uchiha clan.

They then asked the captain,

"Ryosuke has disgraced the Uchiha clan. How should we punish him?"

Uchiha Fugaku, however, bowed his head in contemplation.

"Punish him? Ryosuke is Elder Uchiha Shin's grandson.

'If we punish Ryousuke, we might as well prepare for Elder Shin to come knocking at our door.'

'At that point, even I might lose face.'

Besides, this was a sensitive time. Relations between the Uchiha clan and Konoha's upper echelons were becoming increasingly tense.

The leadership didn't trust them, and many in the clan were losing trust in the village leadership as well.

"It's just a simple sparring match; there's no need to make a fuss."

"The situation in the village is bad enough as it is; let's not create further discord over such a trivial matter."

Though the other ninja disagreed with the captain's stance, they didn't press further. The captain was good at many things, but he was too soft.

The Uchiha were Konoha's foremost clan. Although the Senju once shared that status, they had long since declined.

Naturally, the Uchiha were now Konoha's most prominent family. Yet, the village leadership dared to suppress them, which naturally left them disgruntled. They wanted to restore their clan's prestige and reclaim respect in Konoha.

But since the captain had decided to de-escalate the situation, they had no choice but to comply. The clan head's word was final.

Meanwhile, news of Ryosuke scolding members of the Uchiha clan soon spread across much of the village.

This news even reached the ears of the Third Hokage.

The same Ryosuke who had publicly scolded his son, Asuma Sarutobi, embarrassing him and tarnishing the Third Hokage's own image? Of course, he remembered him.

But to spar with Might Guy and end up beaten black and blue? And for the Uchiha to attempt to arrest Might Guy? What a weakling that Uchiha must be.

Might Guy was someone he had once casually chosen as a pawn. Not because he saw any particular potential, but because, as Hokage, he needed to appear different from ordinary people.

While others regarded Guy as trash, he, as Hokage, needed to show otherwise.

So, he gave Guy a chance to attend the ninja academy.BGuy hadn't entirely let him down, managing to become a chunin without tarnishing his own reputation.

But entering the Anbu? That was impossible. Without ninjutsu, what missions could he perform under his command?

He had once worried that Ryosuke might steal Asuma's girlfriend. That concern now seemed laughable. Kurenai would never fall for a loser.

That evening, at Yuhi Kurenai's home, her mother had prepared a lavish dinner for her.

Soon, Kurenai returned home, looking slightly fatigued. Seeing her mother had prepared dinner, she sat down to eat.

Her mother started chatting as they ate, "Today was really something. A strange person has emerged from the Uchiha clan."

"Someone from the clan reprimanded their own members for standing up for the family."

Kurenai, chewing her food, asked curiously,

"Who was it?"

Her mother replied, "That guy who disrupted you and Asuma last time? I think his name is Uchiha Ryosuke."

"He sparred with Might Guy, got beaten black and blue, and embarrassed the Uchiha clan, but he scolded the Uchiha Police Force members who came to protect the clan's honor."

Kurenai felt speechless. Her mother really hoped she'd end up with Asuma. But nothing had even started between them. She had a terrible impression of Asuma.

Feeling confused, she asked, "Mother, don't you think Ryosuke was right? It was just sparring; why should the clan intervene when someone gets hurt?"

Her mother patiently explained,

"From an ordinary person's perspective, that's true. But from a family's perspective, it doesn't work that way."
