Naruto: From Konoha to One Piece

Chapter 150: Chapter 150: The Oiran’s Entrance

"Is that the Flower Capital? It looks more prosperous than other places in Wano!" Ace looked up, intrigued.

"It's natural for a city to seem prosperous when it represents the strength of a country," Shin replied lightly. "Consider the other parts of Wano. The resources that should have gone to the people there have likely been siphoned off to enrich the capital. And even here, I'd bet many still struggle to find enough to eat."

Hearing this, Ace's face turned grim. The situation in the Flower Capital reminded him of the Goa Kingdom, where he grew up—a place that stirred up similar feelings of disgust.

Ace adjusted his clothing slightly, and the three entered the Flower Capital. Yamato's attire was traditional for Wano, while Shin used a transformation technique, so only Ace needed to change his appearance to blend in.

The guards stationed at the Flower Capital posed no challenge; in front of Shin's Rinnegan-based genjutsu, they were rendered useless, and the trio entered easily.

"According to Uncle Tengu, Tama should be somewhere around here. She's probably using a transformation technique, so we don't know what she looks like…" Ace was still mulling over their plan when Shin interrupted, "No need. I've already found her!"

"Huh?" Ace looked puzzled. Shin explained, "Tama has chakra, which makes her stand out entirely in my perception."

The Mind's Eye of the Kagura from the Uzumaki clan had long been embedded in Shin's bloodline transformation. After optimization, it had been fully activated, allowing him to sense chakra signatures distinctly.

With this jutsu, he can detect chakra, but Shin can only sense physical energy for people without chakra. Unlike chakra, physical energy produces similar fluctuations among people, making it hard to distinguish individuals unless they possess exceptionally strong life energy. This meant that without chakra, identifying specific people was difficult. However, aside from Yamato, only Tama had a chakra in the Flower Capital, which made her easy to locate.

After Shin's explanation, Yamato exclaimed, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go find Tama!"

The lively streets of Flower Street soon filled with curious glances aimed at Yamato.

"Haha, that's not bad—let me dance again!" Yamato, appearing unusually relaxed, embraced a nearby courtesan as she called out to the dancing geisha.

"I feel like you're playing the wrong role here…" Shin muttered, shaking his head. "You're acting like someone twice their age!"

Meanwhile, Ace was devouring the food in front of him like he hadn't eaten in days. Shin couldn't help but sigh, thinking of how Ace's crewmates from the Spade Pirates probably often had to clean up after his free-spirited behavior.

"Bringing these two along to look for someone… It's like asking for trouble," Shin mused.

Still, he didn't act too hastily. Memories stirred as they walked the bustling streets, and Shin slowly pieced together the identity of the familiar-looking figure nearby.

"Is it… Kushiro of the Thousand Faces? No, no, it's Sleepy-faced Shiro… or something?" Shin confirmed that the man was called 'Dozing Kyoshiro' only after overhearing a nearby merchant.

"He's Denjiro from the Nine Red Scabbards… Some time ago, Izou left with his men on a voyage; otherwise, he'd have come to aid his country by now," Shin pondered, considering the complex situation.

As he mused, there was a sudden thud, and Ace had slumped forward—face-first into the oden.

"Aah! Someone fainted!" one of the girls nearby shrieked. Yamato, slightly drunk, grinned and said, "Don't worry; he's just asleep."

A few girls looked on in horror as the oden bubbled around Ace's face. "He… he's not really sleeping, is he? Isn't his face hurt?" they whispered anxiously.

With a loud gulp, Yamato downed his drink and then slapped Ace on the back. Ace lifted his head, groggy, his face still dripping with hot broth. "Huh? Why'd I fall asleep again?" he muttered.

"He actually fell asleep!" gasped the nearby girls, astonished.

Shin resisted the urge to facepalm. "This is on me. I've spent too long in the ninja world and forgot just how unpredictable pirates are! Stealth missions like this… I should have come alone."

He sighed, reconsidering their approach. "Or maybe we should just storm in and take out Orochi directly. Pirates are impulsive by nature. These complex plans always seem to end in chaos."

Indeed, if Ace and Yamato were in the ninja world, they'd have blown their cover 800 times by now. But here, in the world of pirates, where people tended to overlook details, the two managed to avoid attracting too much suspicion.

"The oiran is here! Miss Komurasaki has arrived!" Shin's musings were interrupted by the entrance of a young woman—a supposedly beautiful girl, though her heavily traditional attire and makeup made Shin cringe slightly.

Her clothing alone probably weighed over ten kilograms, and her elaborate hair accessories looked like they added another kilogram or two. Her pale, almost ghostly face paint and dark red lipstick only emphasized the weight of her attire. With her natural beauty, Shin thought, this Komurasaki could easily pass for a haunting apparition in that outfit.

"Wow, is that the oiran? She's gorgeous!" Yamato whistled, her eyes shining. Shin rolled his eyes, though he couldn't deny Yamato's enthusiasm for the setting.

The people of Wano seemed to adore Komurasaki's style; the room buzzed with excitement. Shin and Ace were the only ones whose expressions remained calm, making them stand out in the crowd.

Shin looked away, unable to appreciate Komurasaki's outfit, while Ace's reaction stemmed from his general indifference to appearances. Though not quite as extreme as Luffy, Ace was notoriously face-blind when it came to noticing beauty.

Of the three, Yamato was clearly the most excited, whistling loudly as Komurasaki made her entrance.

However, as everyone's attention focused on the oiran, Shin's gaze shifted to the small girl following behind her.

"Shin, isn't that Tama?" Ace asked, surprised. "What's she doing with the oiran?"

"You're asking me? How would I know?" Shin replied, rolling his eyes. "Let's try to speak with her when the crowd thins out."

Despite his hazy memory, Shin remembered that this Komurasaki was none other than Princess Hiyori of Wano. This revelation indicated that Tama hadn't only joined Denjiro's faction but also gained a position of importance, as she wouldn't be tasked with accompanying Hiyori otherwise.
