Naruto: I Have Doraemon

Chapter 101: Chapter 101 Sako: Mom, Listen To My Explanation

"Only 127,000 points?"

Naruto frowned slightly. "Even though the Third Hokage still died due to the Reaper Death Seal, Konoha's destruction has had greater consequences than in the original story. Yet, the overall outcome hasn't changed much."

With the remaining 33,850 points from before, I now have a total of 153,850 points. More than 150,000 Honkai points should be enough for now. Plus, the upcoming events with the Fifth Hokage and the butterfly effect should yield even more Honkai points. That's good enough for me.

Naruto quickly calculated his current gains and, feeling satisfied, started walking back toward the Chūnin Exams venue.

Konoha

The once-thriving village now lay in ruins, with large and small battles gradually winding down. Most of the Sand and Sound ninjas had either been killed or captured.

The village was a post-war wasteland—buildings and homes reduced to rubble, leaving a bleak, desolate scene in their wake.

"Is it over?" Orochimaru murmured. "Then, I should make my exit."

He stepped out from his secret hideout near the Root headquarters and, after observing the chaos, whispered, "Release the Impure World Reincarnation…" His hands came together in a series of seals.

Then, Orochimaru used Earth Style jutsu to vanish swiftly.

When he fled, the reanimated Second Hokage, Kimimaro, White Fang, Hizashi, and the Kazekage all crumbled, revealing the bodies of the sacrifices within.

Elsewhere, amid the disarray, Fugaku had led Uchiha Iron Fire and a few elite Uchiha shinobi to the homes of Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura.

Ten minutes later, Naruto, standing near the Third Hokage's body, heard two notifications chime in his mind.

Tip: Changed the fate trajectory of Utatane Koharu, earning 10,000 Honkai points.

Tip: Changed the fate trajectory of Mitokado Homura, earning 10,000 Honkai points.

Those two old-timers… only 10,000 points each? Pathetic.

Naruto glanced at the Third Hokage's and Danzo's bodies with a hint of disdain. At least the Third Hokage here isn't as scheming as in other fanfics. My opinion of him has improved, though his soft-hearted nature didn't win my favor.

Sometimes, things have to be broken down before they can be rebuilt. For Konoha's future, the Third Hokage and Danzo had to go.

Naruto felt no guilt over this.

"Naruto, you shouldn't involve yourself in this," Kakashi said as he stepped beside him, patting his shoulder. "Just head back and wait for further orders."

"Understood!" Naruto nodded with a shrug. He'd only come to witness the action, so he turned and headed home, satisfied with his points haul.

Now that he had more than 170,000 Honkai points, he looked forward to using the phone booth to see its effects.

Meanwhile…

After helping evacuate the spectators, Sako turned and hurried home. Now that Mikoto had been revived, she could hardly wait to see her mother again.

With chakra enhancing her speed, Sako's joyful smile lit up her face as she darted over the ruins of Konoha.

Before long, she arrived at the Uchiha district.

"Uncle Yaowei, Uncle Hand Burner, Brother Shanhuo… it's you on guard here!" Sako called out, waving as she passed by. "Long time no see! I'm going home to find my mother."

As Sako dashed past, her graceful, butterfly-like form caught their eyes, but none of them recognized her.

"Wait, who was that girl just now?" one of the Uchiha clan members asked, staring after her.

"I… I saw her Sharingan!" said Yaowei, puzzled. "She seemed familiar with us, but I don't recall anyone with a fully developed Sharingan like that among our clan's youth."

Yaowei's Sharingan flickered, Two Tomoe spinning as he tried to piece it together.

"Several clan members have disappeared recently under strange circumstances. We need to stay alert," Uchiha Shanhuo added. "Stay on guard here; I'll follow her and see what's going on."

With that, he dashed after Sako, trying to catch up and get some answers.

Sako, too excited to notice what was happening around her, hurried back to her home, leaping over obstacles in her way. She pushed open the bedroom door and saw a familiar figure with her back turned, packing items into a bag.

The sight overwhelmed Sako with emotion, and tears began streaming down her face uncontrollably, smudging her delicate makeup until it resembled a little kitten's.

Mikoto, busy tidying up, heard soft sobbing behind her and turned her head curiously.

It was that simple turn that made Sako, seeing her mother's face again, unable to hold back any longer.

"Mother…"

With a single stride, Sako ran forward, wrapped her arms around Mikoto, and broke down into tears, like a wayward child finally returning home after years of wandering.

"Huh? Mom?" Mikoto looked down in bewilderment at the girl hugging her—this vibrant girl with a flowing single ponytail, dressed in a stylish white blouse, black stockings, and a clearly feminine appearance. She was utterly confused.

Is this some mistake?

"Mom? Mom? Mom!"

At that moment, Uchiha Shanhuo, who had followed her, heard Sako's affectionate cries. He stopped in his tracks as he entered the room, stunned.

Wait, everyone knows that the Uchiha clan head has only two sons. Where did this girl come from, calling Mrs. Mikoto 'Mom'? Could she be an… illegitimate daughter??

A cold sweat broke out on Shanhuo's forehead as he imagined this possibility. Quickly and quietly, he stepped out of the yard, realizing this was family business that he shouldn't meddle in.

Mikoto, still puzzled, gently pushed Sako back a little and, coughing awkwardly, asked, "Miss, do you have the wrong person?"

"Wrong person? Mom, I'm Sasuke!" Sako replied, her face filled with affection. She pouted in frustration as Mikoto pushed her away.

"Sasuke??" Mikoto's eyes widened at the name, her expression shifting as she studied Sako's face more closely. Despite the makeup and tears, there's a hint of Sasuke in those features.

But… the clothes? And her… chest?

Mikoto's heart skipped a beat as she recalled the women's clothing she'd found in Sako's room. Has… has Sasuke developed this much?

"Are you really Sasuke?" Mikoto asked, needing to be sure.

Sako quickly grabbed a nearby towel and started wiping her face. "Mom, can you see clearly now? I'm Sasuke!" She leaned close, looking up with a defiant, innocent expression.

"It… really is Sasuke!" Mikoto's eyes widened in shock as she took in the familiar, yet transformed, face of her child. Even with these changes, as his mother, I'd recognize Sasuke's face anywhere!

Sako, now confident her mother recognized her, moved forward to embrace her again. But Mikoto held up her hand, stopping her.

"Sasuke! I know that your father and I failed you. The events you went through were devastating. But you can't go on like this… Look at yourself. What kind of appearance is this?"

A trace of sadness and worry flickered in Mikoto's eyes, but her face remained stern.

"Go, change back into your regular clothes, and remove whatever you've put under your jacket. Starting today, your father and I will help you become the strong man you were meant to be!"

Sako looked up, distressed, and tried to explain. "Mom… please, let me explain. It's not what you think…"

As she spoke, she realized that there was no simple way to explain that she had actually become her mother's daughter.
