Naruto: I Quit

Naruto was resolute in his decision to expedite his Rasengan training plan. However, he was well aware that he couldn't jump right into it. While Rasengan was based on the principles of the Tailed Beast Bomb, he knew that acquiring hands-on experience with Kurama wasn't an immediate option. Instead, he had a different approach, one he'd learned from Jiraiya, as described in the original text.

This approach was divided into three stages. The initial stage involved gathering Chakra in the palm of one's hand without letting it disperse. It was a simple task, and Naruto was eager to begin. He summoned numerous Shadow Clones, even more this time than before, over two dozen in total. These Shadow Clones were quick to grasp their task, without requiring guidance. They initiated their practice in a circular formation, diligently focusing on gathering Chakra in the palm of their right hands until they succeeded.

To expedite his progress, Naruto consecutively used the Shadow Clone Technique, creating a hundred clones to work in unison. The collective effort of a hundred individuals significantly accelerated his training, making it an unparalleled learning experience. Meanwhile, his original body didn't remain idle. Naruto resumed his physical training, as his theoretical knowledge was improving steadily.

Returning to the topic at hand, the reason why the Rasengan training plan couldn't proceed immediately was due to the next two stages, both of which required specific props. The second stage, following the completion of the first, demanded further practice to achieve a stable and sustained release of Chakra. This meant using a water-filled balloon and manipulating Chakra to move the water inside until the balloon burst. Unfortunately, with winter in full swing, this stage couldn't be completed outdoors. The frigid weather would undoubtedly freeze the water in the balloon, making it impossible to practice effectively.

As for the third stage, it required an even more substantial object than the balloon, a solid ball with no water inside. Here, the task was to materialize Chakra to such a degree that it could shatter the ball. Achieving this required mastering the fine control of Chakra.

After completing these three stages, the culmination of their practice involved integrating the skills learned. The final goal was to form high-density Chakra in the palm of one's hand, thus achieving the Rasengan.

Once Rasengan was mastered, its power would be intrinsically tied to the growth of the caster. In other words, the more powerful the caster became, the more formidable the Rasengan would be. Additionally, numerous derivative and advanced versions of Rasengan existed, showcasing the depth of this fundamental ninjutsu.

Naruto was eager to progress and, with an enthusiastic spirit, practiced diligently on his own until the evening. The winter season meant that daytime had become noticeably shorter. As he completed his final set of exercises, he gazed around, realizing the limitation of his surroundings. With a touch of disappointment, he turned to his Shadow Clones and remarked, "Unfortunately, I can't take you home with me."

One of the Shadow Clones quipped, "Feeling lonely already, Naruto? You're starting to talk to us. Who knows, it might not be impossible!"

Laughter spread among the other Shadow Clones as they concluded their training for the day.

Naruto found himself in a predicament. It was time to dispel his one hundred Shadow Clones to put an end to the endless jokes about his clones. With a determined breath, he began the process, but as the last Shadow Clone vanished, an overwhelming wave of memories and exhaustion surged through his mind and body.

The training experiences of all those Shadow Clones came rushing back, along with an immense fatigue that nearly knocked him off his feet. His body had endured rigorous, high-intensity workouts. However, Naruto had a few aces up his sleeve – the Nine Tails Chakra, the Ashura Chakra, and the enigmatic power of the Six Paths.

Shaking his head and gathering his wits, he muttered to himself, "Phew, that was close. My body's only three years old; I need to be more careful." Naruto realized he had been somewhat careless. Most three-year-olds wouldn't survive such an ordeal. Even seasoned Jōnin wouldn't think of using so many Shadow Clones for training or missions, but Naruto was nothing if not extraordinary.

With each experience, he grew stronger, just like building muscles. His willpower and endurance improved thanks to these intense exercises. After dismissing the Shadow Clones, Naruto retracted the sensory field and the protective Nine Tails Chakra cloak before heading home.

Despite sweating from the workout and being accustomed to the warmth of the cloak, he suddenly shivered when he felt the biting cold outside. Naruto quickly buttoned up his clothes and increased his pace toward the village. It was too cold to stay overnight in the mountains, and he didn't want to risk freezing to death.

Upon returning to the village, as he was walking towards his home, he noticed a small figure darting across a distant street. It piqued his curiosity. While he wasn't particularly worried, the figure appeared to be a child. But why was there a child out in the middle of the night?

Naruto gazed up at the sky, where snowflakes continued to fall. He longed for the comfort of his home and some much-needed rest. Despite this, he let out a sigh and decided to follow the mysterious child.

The child eventually turned a corner, temporarily vanishing from Naruto's view. When he caught up, he found the child sitting on the ground, head in hands, sobbing softly. Naruto approached and inquired, "Why are you out here all alone? And why the tears?"

Startled, the child looked up, and to Naruto's astonishment, it was a girl in a kimono. She had striking, short, light-blue hair and pristine white eyes – a clear indication of Hyuga lineage. The Byakugan, perhaps? What truly hit Naruto was the resemblance in her delicate features. Could it be? He couldn't help but wonder, "Isn't that... Hinata?"
