Naruto: Our Goal Is To Dig Every Corner of Konoha

Chapter 778: Chapter 778 Weak Supreme Kai

"These two guys are... interesting. Alright, I'll go with you!"

Asahi said, intrigued after seeing the two individuals. He wondered what would they do now?

Goku and the others hadn't planned to participate in this tournament. After all, with the plot altered beyond recognition, their lives had significantly improved. The major and minor events that should have happened didn't occur, and Broly hadn't appeared either, meaning the Broly they might face would be the one from the Dragon Ball Super continuity.

However, that might pose a problem later on, since Frieza is already gone and the Dragon Balls' secrets haven't been revealed.

As for these two, without someone like Gohan, it would be challenging for them to gather enough energy.

The participants in the World Martial Arts Tournament were merely humans with decent combat power, and none of them had a power level exceeding 100.

Thus, they wouldn't find their target among the contestants. Even Mr. Satan's presence couldn't compare to the massive ki of the Saiyans. To gather enough energy for Majin Buu's revival, they'd have to drain all the people in the World Martial Arts Tournament, including the spectators.

But with Asahi there, they naturally have no chance to do such thing. These two weren't particularly powerful, having only enhanced their combat power through Babidi's influence. Their strength was several times that of the original Videl, but that wasn't saying much.

The strength of the original Videl is actually not good, as she couldn't even release a ki blast, making her quite weak. These two were just humans who had their evil side awakened by Babidi, making them somewhat stronger. That's why Videl was crushed.

However, against the current Mr. Satan and Videl, they couldn't do anything at all. And if a fight were to break out, the two would be thoroughly defeated.

"That's great!"

Mr. Satan smiled. He deeply respected his teacher, knowing that all his current achievements were thanks to Asahi. Without Asahi's guidance, he might still be fighting underground battles somewhere.

Mr. Satan's luck is arguably the strongest in the Dragon Ball World. Back when Goku and his friends were kids, many powerful fighters participated in the World Martial Arts Tournament, and Satan wouldn't have stood a chance against them.

In the original story, Mr. Satan was indeed exceptionally strong among normal humans, even winning the championship. However, this strength was limited to ordinary humans.

Over the years, Mr. Satan had encountered many opponents who could use ki in the tournaments.

Without Goku and the others to bring Tien and the rest out of the Crane School, they were still there, participating in several tournaments. If not for the techniques Asahi taught Mr. Satan, he might have been easily defeated by Tien's Dodon Ray.

So Mr. Satan really owes his success to Asahi, his teacher.

Soon, a they arrived at the tournament grounds. Here, the final winner had the opportunity to challenge Mr. Satan. The tournament was in full swing, and the two suspicious characters were getting more and more agitated.

In the end, one of them was eliminated, leaving the other to challenge Mr. Satan. When Mr. Satan appeared, the remaining contestant used a power level scanner, only to find Mr. Satan's energy level was extremely low. Even Gohan's energy level, when not transformed, was quite low, so Mr. Satan's would naturally be even lower.

They were disappointed, but they still saw Mr. Satan as a viable target, as his energy was much higher than that of an average contestant.

However, these two were not particularly smart. They must have also tested their own energy, so why do they feel that they can defeat Mr. Satan? Isn't this stupid?

Of course, this situation was complicated by the inept and foolish Supreme Kai, Shin, who was trying to manipulate things from behind the scenes.

"If I were you, I wouldn't do that. I know you want these two to lead you to Majin Buu's egg, but this guy happens to be my student. If you dare to make a move, I could only you down!"

Just when Shin was about to take action, a lazy voice came from behind him, startling him. After he turned around vigilantly, he saw Asahi sitting on a chair and watching him and his attendant.

"Who are you? You know about Majin Buu?"

Shin asked with some apprehension, surprised to find such a powerful presence on Earth.

"My name is Asahi. As for who I am, I've already told you. I'm an Earthling and his teacher, so forget about using underhanded tactics. If you want to find Majin Buu, look for it yourself. I really wonder what you've been doing all these years."

"Back when Majin Buu was sealed, didn't you know to take care of him? Leaving him on Earth like that was irresponsible. You should have moved him to the Supreme Kai World. Wouldn't that have prevented all these problems?"

Asahi spoke with disdain for Shin, the Supreme Kai of the East. While Shin was indeed kind-hearted, he was also cowardly and lacked responsibility. Despite being a Supreme Kai, he was even less competent than King Kai or even Kami.

In the battle years ago, Shin was the only surviving Supreme Kai after Majin Buu was resealed. He should have known that finding Majin Buu's egg without the seal imposed by Babidi's father was relatively easy.

However, Shin didn't do that. Instead, he left the egg on Earth because he feared that Majin Buu might one day break free and massacre everyone in the Supreme Kai World. Shin, having barely survived himself, was cowardly and afraid of taking risks.

Shin's weakness and fearfulness were evident. He knew how Majin Buu's seal could be broken and understood that destroying Babidi's ship too aggressively would also break the seal, allowing Majin Buu to revive.

Despite being weak, he was excessively cautious, unlike the Gods of Destruction who were much more decisive and fearless.

This stark contrast between the Supreme Kai and the Gods of Destruction was significant. A Supreme Kai like Shin, who was scared and weak, was the complete opposite of what was expected from such a high-ranking divine being. Beerus, the God of Destruction, was particularly unfortunate to have such an ineffective Supreme Kai tied to his existence.

Beerus, however, had a trump card. The old Supreme Kai, who Beerus himself had sealed away, kept him alive. As long as the Old Kai remained sealed, Beerus's life was safe, even if all the current Supreme Kais were eliminated.

Supreme Kai can only lose this position if they take the initiative to resign. And since the old Supreme Kai is sealed, he naturally cannot resign.

So, even if this batch of Supreme Kai is cleaned up, Beerus can still be at ease.

It can be said that this guy's brain is really amazing when it comes to this matter.

Otherwise, as far as Gods of Destruction is concerned, this Supreme Kai is their biggest weakness, as it is easy for others to kill Supreme Kai directly, which would also kill them.
