Naruto: Our Goal Is To Dig Every Corner of Konoha

Chapter 781: Chapter 781 Whis Arrives

The Solar True Fire not only ignited Dabura but also effortlessly engulfed the spaceship behind him, reducing it to ashes in an instant. With such a big movement, the egg of Majin Buu below naturally couldn't hold on and cracked open directly.

Babidi had originally planned for Buu to awaken at his peak moment, but now it had prematurely occurred. However, this early awakening left Buu without his peak power, actually, without any significant power to speak of.

At its peak, the combat power must be short Kid Buu, which absorbs the power of other Supreme Kais, not Fat Buu.

Fat Buu was formed by the intervention of the Supreme Kai, which in itself weakened Buu's combat power.

As for the skinny Buu, it is not a complete form, and it can only be regarded as a defective product. Only the short Kid Buu, the original Buu is the truly terrifying. As Majin Buu was unleashed directly, Babidi couldn't find any joy in it.

"Damn it, what kind of flame is this that brought Majin Buu out prematurely? I planned for him to gather enough energy before reviving him, but now he's revived with no energy at all!"

Babidi exclaimed in frustration. At this moment, Majin Buu's combat strength was much weaker than in the original story. A Super Saiyan 2 could likely fight him evenly, a Super Saiyan 3 could easily dominate him, and a higher level could defeat him outright, possibly even instantly.

Goku's thoughts were indeed unusual. He had special techniques to eradicate Majin Buu, but ultimately, he chose a different path: entrusting the task to the future generations.

Goku felt since he was already dead, he couldn't be responsible for everything. It was necessary to cultivate the next generation.

While this thinking was correct, raising the next generation was challenging. Gohan himself has a terrifying talent, but he can't develop it because of family reasons. It can only be said that their brains are really problematic.

Gohan often played the role of a savior, but each time he achieved stronger power, he was reset, back to square one. What's worse, in Super, he couldn't even defeat a weak henchman.

His restored Ultimate form's combat strength was also abysmal, leaving much to be desired.

After Majin Buu's revival, his combat strength was greatly reduced, but his arrogance remained as high as ever. The current Majin Buu was not purely kind but a mixture of both his good and evil sides.

To fully unleash his negative side, one would need to provoke him. Actually, Fat Buu was quite approachable, like a blank slate, easily influenced by others.

Asahi didn't intend to act because he sensed someone else rapidly rapidly approaching, creating a streak of white light through the universe. This person was, of course, Whis.

Due to the Solar True Fire, Whis could only approximate the coordinates, but couldn't directly observe because Asahi's presence was too overwhelming. Intrigued and puzzled, Whis decided to investigate personally.

Fortunately, although unable to pinpoint the exact nature of the disturbance, Whis could identify the general location, which is this planet called Earth. He figured he'd find out what was happening upon arrival, as even a mere glance should suffice to scan the whole planet.

So at this moment, Whis sped towards Earth, of course, he did not use his maximum speed. And even if his maximum speed is not used, he will still arrive very quickly. In just a few minutes, Whis came to the Earth.

"This energy... Majin Buu? And the Supreme Kai is here too. Why are they together again? Though Shin isn't the last Supreme Kai, he's the last one with authority. I can't just leave him be... Ah!"

Whis sensed Shin's presence and immediately descended to Earth, arriving at the scene. At that moment, Shin and Kibito were being brutally beaten by Majin Buu. After all, Shin's strength was mediocre, incomparable to the other Supreme Kais.

Even in his weakened state, Majin Buu possessed the power of a Super Saiyan 2. Shin barely matched this power, relying on his abilities to hold his ground. As for Kibito, he was completely useless.

Kibito's combat power was slightly stronger than an average Super Saiyan but still weaker than Shin. In the original work, Kibito was known for pretending to be strong while being rather weak, often ending up humiliated.

'It's over, I will be killed by Majin Buu!'

Shin could no longer hold out for much longer. He was cornered, with no escape route in sight, and as he watched the approaching energy blast, he shut his eyes in despair.

"Arara, Supreme Kai can't be allowed to face such danger, especially since he's the last one in this universe. If something happens to him, I'll get scolded!"

Just as Shin resigned himself to his fate, Whis appeared and effortlessly blocked Buu's attack.

"Another random person has actually appeared. Majin Buu, get rid of him for me!"

Babidi continued to shout from the sidelines. At this moment, Majin Buu was also quite displeased. Someone was protecting his prey, and that was unacceptable. Thus, Majin Buu charged at Whis immediately.

However, this time, as soon as he got close, Whis struck him to the ground with his staff, pinning him down and rendering him immobile.

"Whis-san, why are you here?"

Seeing Whis, Shin's heart was filled with joy. As the Supreme Kai, he naturally knew about the Gods of Destruction, and the Angel Assistant, Whis. Moreover, he knew that Whis was stronger than the Gods of Destruction, as this was the case in every universe.

The Gods of Destruction's mentors were Angels who would find talented individuals and train them to become Gods of Destruction. To appoint a new God of Destruction, the next generation needed to be trained.

However, it's rare for a God of Destruction to find a successor, and even if they did, it's seldom that they would replace themselves directly.

Despite the Supreme Kai being the greatest weakness of the God of Destruction, there was an advantage of being the God of Destruction, that is, they could use their divine status to comprehend Ultra Instinct, an incredibly difficult technique to master.

If it weren't for Goku's extraordinary breakthroughs, he wouldn't have been able to learn Ultra Instinct. Even so, his mastery is incomplete since he can only use it unconsciously under pressure.

He hasn't truly mastered Ultra Instinct consciously, and his physical training alone isn't enough. So the massive power he wields can't be sustained for long periods.

After using Ultra Instinct for a short time, Goku suffers from the backlash of the immense power.

In short, his body is too fragile, and without comprehensive training, this is the consequence.
