However, without further do, he began by unleashing his most proficient jutsu:

Sonic Hell Labyrinth [D]

Falling under the category of illusion jutsu, the sonic hell labyrinth used sounds to mess with the target's orientation and balance sense. It created hallucinations and a bloody, hellish landscape. According to the description of the jutsu from the family scrolls, those who fell victim to this jutsu would often find themselves in a river of blood.

With his stats being quite low, he could not learn high-rank jutsu, much less high-rank taijutsu or kenjutsu. Although he also learned two futon jutsu after discovering with elemental paper that he had wind elemental affinity, he trained his genjutsu the most, using it on worms, rabbits, dogs...

Now that he had a human guinea pig willing to challenge him, he could not refuse it and immediately used this genjutsu: Sonic Hell Labyrinth.

It was a very decent jutsu, its only weakness being that it was obvious and made it simple to dispell. A simple chakra manipulation, or better still, a kunai in the thigh, and you would break free from it, making its use quite limited in a real battlefield - or so he thought.

However, his sister started swinging her sword wildly, unable to process what was happening to her. Visible signs of extreme anxiety showed on her grimacing face, cold drops of sweats falling down her cheek, her arms visibly trembling not from training - but primal fear.

"Oops - I did not expect it to be so powerful", Genji mused as he dispelled the genjutsu by pushing his own chakra through her body.

*COUGH*

Hugging Genji, she screamed: "Careful Genji, we're under attack!"

After a couple of seconds, she calmed down, her experience showing.

"What was that?", she asked, still trembling slightly from the illusion

"Sonic Hell Labyrinth", Genji pouted, "Did not expect it push a genin to her knees like that"

At his provocation, lingering fear was lifted, and Sakura began throwing punches at her little brother.

Now, that was sibling love.

From a distance, a lone man had observed the interaction with a mix of apprehension and warmth. Sitting on his chair, he could not eat alone, much less move alone. Without his children and civilian wife, he would not be able to sustain himself. Once upon a time, he had been a brazen youth like them. But after a couple dozens of missions, he was ambushed in a patrolling mission, causing his legs to be crushed under a rock.
