Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

In the dim cave, the members of Team Guy stood ready, their eyes fixed on the two men in black robes adorned with red clouds. It was clear—they had found their targets.

"Huh? It looks like there's no illusionary image that Kirito mentioned earlier," Rock Lee remarked, his quick glance confirming that only Deidara and Sasori were present.

"After we smashed the boulder blocking the cave, their technique ended and disappeared," Kirito explained.

There were no other Akatsuki members in sight—not even Zetsu, whose elusive presence was often a concern. It was evident that Pain was confident enough to leave Deidara and Sasori here alone.

Behind Kirito, TenTen caught sight of Gaara lying motionless on the ground. Concern laced her voice as she asked, "Kirito, how is Kazekage?"

Kirito shook his head, his expression grim. "He's barely alive. The One-Tail has been extracted, and the remaining tailed beast chakra keeping him alive is quickly dissipating."

"Brother Sasori, is that the white-eyed brat Kisame mentioned?" Deidara asked, glancing at Kirito's activated Byakugan.

"Indeed. Leave him to me. Those eyes irritate me," Sasori replied coldly.

Deidara nodded, reaching into his pouch for his signature explosive clay, feeding it to the mouths on his palms.

Kirito addressed his team. "Be careful. The shorter one uses poison, and everything the blond throws will explode. Leave the shorter one to me. The rest of you focus on the blond."

"It's a pity Kazekage is lying here, or this environment would be perfect for our ninjutsu," TenTen said regretfully as she prepared to put away her scroll.

"Leave it to me!" Kirito declared, his chakra flaring as he prepared for battle.

Sasori's sharp instincts kicked in. Without hesitation, he used his puppet tail to scoop up Deidara and leaped away from their position just as countless sharp wooden spikes erupted from the ground.

"Close call. Thanks, Brother Sasori," Deidara said, shaken but impressed by his partner's quick reflexes.

As Deidara surveyed the aftermath, he noticed something alarming—Gaara's body was no longer there. Instead, vines had entangled the Kazekage and dragged him toward Team Guy.

"You won't succeed!" Deidara shouted, throwing explosive clay from his palms toward Gaara's position.

The clay transformed mid-air into a giant white bird that spewed smaller explosive creatures onto the vines holding Gaara.

"Drink!" Deidara exclaimed.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The explosions sent shockwaves through the cave, causing debris to rain from the ceiling. The violent tremors made it feel like the cave might collapse entirely.

"See, Brother Sasori? That's art!" Deidara said proudly.

"Art is eternal, not fleeting," Sasori countered with disdain. "Your explosions are nothing more than childish antics."

Amid the chaos, Kirito used Wood Release to form a protective barrier around Gaara, encasing him in layers of solid wood.

"Good. With Gaara protected, we can proceed," TenTen said as she unfurled her scroll again. "Let's try that combination technique!"

"Understood!" Kirito replied.

With TenTen's scroll activated and chakra infused, she called out, "Dragon Breath!"

Kirito took a deep breath, molding chakra into his lungs before releasing it. "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"

"Combined Ninjutsu: Flame Dragon's Roar!"

The fiery inferno surged forward like a tsunami, engulfing Sasori and Deidara's position in an unrelenting blaze.

Deidara's voice rang out in panic. "Brother Sasori, there's no dodging this!"

Sasori remained calm, tearing off his robe to reveal his grotesque puppet body. "Hold still. I'll get you out of here."

Before Deidara could protest, Sasori encased him in a special puppet and launched him like a cannonball through the flames.

WHOOSH! The projectile pierced the roaring fire and landed on the far side of the cave.

Back in the inferno, Sasori stood his ground, enveloped by the raging flames. The heat forced Rock Lee and the others to shield their eyes.

"Kirito, what was that that flew past us?" Rock Lee asked, sweat dripping down his face.

"The blond Akatsuki member. Go after him with Guy-sensei. He can fly, and you'll need reinforcements to take him down," Kirito instructed. "I'll handle the one in the cave."

"Got it!" TenTen responded, retracting her scroll as she prepared to pursue.

Outside the cave, Deidara broke free from Sasori's puppet. Coughing, he muttered, "I hope Sasori is alright."

Despite their typical solo fighting styles, Deidara felt a rare moment of gratitude for Sasori's sacrifice.

"Stop right there!" Guy and Rock Lee appeared, blocking his escape route.

"Surrender. You have no way out," Guy declared.

Deidara smirked, spitting out more clay to craft a large bird. "Catch me if you can!"

He ascended into the sky, taunting his pursuers. "If you want revenge for your Kazekage, come and get me! Hahaha!"

Suddenly, a golden figure shot out from the cliffside. Naruto, his rage palpable, slammed a Rasengan toward Deidara's bird. "Rasengan!"

Deidara narrowly dodged and detonated his clay bird, using the explosion to create distance.

"Naruto!" Kakashi's voice called out as Team Kakashi arrived. "Don't act impulsively!"

Landing on the water, Naruto clenched his fists, glaring at Deidara, who now hovered on a new clay bird.

The battle was far from over.
