"I need backup here!"

"Finish it, Ino!" he shouted.

Ino didn't waste a second. She dove towards the Cerberus, her Raiton-charged tanto. The blade pierced the beast's heart directly, causing it to disappear in a cloud of smoke.

"Thanks," she said, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

But they had no time to rest.

"Do you really think you can stop a god?"

Shikai leaped towards Nagato, who had activated Shuradō, deploying mechanical arms equipped with blades and cannons. He engaged in close combat, using the black stakes to counter Shikai's assaults.

Shikai used his shadows to temporarily hinder Nagato's movements, but the latter's mechanical arms tore through the bindings with frightening ease.

"Your shadows won't be enough," Nagato declared, sending a series of black stakes towards Shikai.

Shikai dodged with agility, but one of the stakes grazed his arm, making him wince. He then activated Sennin mode at full power, an aura of natural chakra enveloping his body. His movements became faster, his strikes more powerful.

He used the raiknife, a technique of rapid and precise cutting. The Raiton blade aimed at Nagato's mechanical arms, slicing through one in a flash.

The seal barrier around Nagato collapsed in a deafening crash. The enemy, his eyes burning with hatred and determination, summoned a massive chibaku Tensei, drawing everything around him towards a black sphere suspended in the sky. The ground rose, trees, buildings, and even the inert bodies of shinobis were sucked into an apocalyptic chaos.

Shikai turned to Ino, his gaze filled with unyielding resolve.

Before she could protest, he activated a seal on his body. Ino was immediately teleported to a safe distance, out of the destruction's reach.

"Shikai, no!" she cried, her voice resonating in the chaos.

Shikai ignored her cry, concentrating his chakra to unleash his ultimate power. His body illuminated with a green aura. Almost translucent energy serpents undulated around him, while a horn appeared on his forehead, marking the fusion of the snake and toad Sennin modes.

The pain was unbearable. Shikai spat blood, and his body began to crack under the crushing pressure of this combined power.

"Sensei!" Ino screamed from afar, helpless.

But Shikai persevered, his mind focused on one thing: destroying Nagato and protecting Konoha.

He activated the *Byakugō no Jutsu*, forcing his cells to regenerate as quickly as they were destroyed. Each movement was accompanied by unimaginable pain, but he advanced, step by step, towards Nagato.
