Naruto : The ultimate Troublemaker

Chapter 166: Kama

Momoshiki gave her no respite. He materialized a pink lance in his hand and charged, his attack tearing through the air. Hinata summoned one of her truth orbs, which blocked the weapon with a shrill screech before repelling the assault.

The battle quickly evolved into a long-range attack exchange. Momoshiki, master of the five chakra natures, invoked a torrent of flames as vast as an ocean, launching them directly at Hinata.

Hinata used her gravity manipulation to create a barrier that pushed the flames back towards their creator. Taking advantage of the momentum, she sent a truth sphere directly at Momoshiki. He formed an impressively solid stone wall to absorb the impact, but the ensuing explosion propelled him backward.

"You are stronger than I imagined," he admitted, getting back up. "But you are nothing compared to me."

He extended his hands and created a rain of black stakes that split the air at a terrifying speed. Hinata, focused, gracefully dodged them, using her truth orbs to intercept the projectiles.

In a fluid motion, she materialized chains and, with her gravitational power, wrapped them around Momoshiki, temporarily immobilizing him and increasing the gravity to twenty times its normal level.

But Momoshiki broke free with a chakra explosion, then counterattacked with a burst of lightning that illuminated the sky.

As the two combatants exchanged blows, techniques, and strategies, Hinata used her blazing speed to maintain pressure, striking Momoshiki with Taijutsu combinations amplified by her gravity control.

Momoshiki, despite his emaciated appearance, displayed a Taijutsu mastery that increasingly matched Hinata's. He dodged her strikes with precision while countering with powerful blows capable of shattering rock.

Each impact resounded like thunder, leaving the ground littered with craters.

Hinata, though impressive, was growing increasingly fatigued. Her movements lost their fluidity, and her attacks lacked the strength they had at the beginning of the battle.

Seizing a moment of inattention, Momoshiki destroyed three of the truth orbs floating around Hinata. In the same movement, he summoned chains that wrapped around her wrists and legs, binding her tightly.

Hinata fell to her knees, panting, her breath short. She looked up at Momoshiki, who was slowly approaching with a triumphant smile.

"Inferior creature, it's over," he declared, reaching out with his hand, his Rinnegan shining sinisterly.

Hinata closed her eyes, feeling the last spark of Toneri and Urashiki's chakra within her. She knew she had only a few seconds left before her Tenseigan mode collapsed.

In a final effort, she channeled all the remaining chakra in her body. The remaining truth orbs merged into a massive sphere, surrounded by a violent silver gravitational halo.

Momoshiki, though arrogant, sensed the imminent danger.

"What is this...?"

Hinata broke free from the chains with a burst of pure chakra and leaped forward, the gravitational sphere in her hands.

Momoshiki reached out to intercept it, confident in his ability to absorb it. But as the energy made contact with his palms, his expression changed drastically.

The sphere exploded in a devastating blast, engulfing Momoshiki in blinding light.

When the dust settled, Hinata was on her knees, panting, her Tenseigan mode fading away. Momoshiki lay several meters away, his body completely disintegrated, reduced to a bloody, formless mass.

Hinata, though exhausted, slowly rose, a weak but satisfied smile on her face. Standing in the silent battlefield, she breathed heavily. Her legs trembled, her body drained of all energy.

Her eyes returned to their usual hue. She fell to her knees, exhausted.

"It's... over," she murmured, breathless.

She suddenly sensed a presence behind her. Before she could turn around, soft hands rested on her eyes, plunging her world into darkness.

Time seemed to freeze. A mocking voice resonated near her ear.

"You've won one battle... but I've won many more."

The voice cackled, leaving a chilling impression in the air. Hinata, too exhausted to react, felt her knees give way. She fell on her bottom, her gaze vacant.

"What is this...?" she whispered, trembling. "It sounds like a voice I recognize..."

She lowered her eyes to her hand and noticed an odd diamond glowing with a bluish light.

"Huh? I didn't see that before..."

She sighed, her head heavy with exhaustion.

Hinata lifted her eyes to the star-studded black sky.

"I'm so tired... But I have to return to Earth. I miss him so much," she murmured, a slight smile tinged with redness on her face.

She gently clasped her hands, thinking of the one who occupied her thoughts.

"Shikai-kun... I can't wait to see you again," she added softly.

Her thoughts wandered to Hanabi, her sister.

"I hope Hanabi is doing well... And that traitor Neji... I'll have to find him."

She rose slowly, staggering on her legs. Her gaze fell on the Ōtsutsuki clan of the Moon, her home for so many years.

"It's time to go back," she murmured with a hint of melancholy.

Hinata walked slowly, her steps heavy, sometimes stumbling from exhaustion. But she moved forward, determined to find the one she loved... who was, in reality, already dead... and Momoshiki in his Kama already knew it.
