Naruto : The ultimate Troublemaker

Chapter 198: Stigma

In a completely white dimension, where the light seemed to emanate from the infinite walls themselves, Shikai Nara-senju faced an opponent he could only call Shibai since she was his receptacle. She had never mentioned her name, but her chakra surpassed anything he had ever encountered. Her eyes, glowing with an unsettling light, and the grace with which she moved testified to a millennial power. That only her enemy Shibai had, even if his consciousness was not yet awakened, it was indeed him.

Shikai stood straight, his body marked with four stigmas, each pulsing with chakra. Despite this, he could feel the abysmal difference between them. The Ōtsutsuki woman had begun to use all her power, and the atmosphere itself seemed to tremble under the pressure of her energy.

Shikai took a deep breath, gathering his chakra. His voice resonated, calm but resolute:

"No matter how powerful you are, I'll find a way."

Shibai sketched a half-smile.

"Dekamoshi, always this touching arrogance. Very well, show me what you're capable of."

Before Shikai could react, she disappeared from his field of vision. His instinct forced him to retreat just in time to avoid a strike that tore through the space where he had been an instant ago. The impact of her fist created a wave of light that swept the white horizon.

Shikai used a teleportation technique to reposition himself, reappearing ten meters away from her. Chakra chains erupted from the ground, aiming to immobilize her. Shibai simply raised her hand, and the chains exploded into golden fragments before they could reach her.

Shikai immediately went on the offensive. With a quick sign, he summoned shadow clones, each wielding a blade infused with chakra. The clones attacked in perfect synchronization, their movements fluid and unpredictable. But Shibai seemed to be playing with them. She dodged with disconcerting ease, her movements defying the laws of physics.

One clone managed to get close enough to strike her flank, but the katana passed through her body as if it were a mirage. She reappeared behind Shikai, her hand surrounded by a blinding light. Before she could touch him, he used a substitution seal to exchange his place with a clone.

Feeling he had no more room for error, Shikai released even more power. The stigmas on his body glowed intensely, each representing an element he mastered perfectly.

He released a wave of flames. They were so hot that they made the air around them ripple. Shikai sent this wave directly at Shibai, creating a sea of fire that engulfed everything. But when he observed the flames, he saw Shibai walking through them, unharmed.

"This kind of fire is insignificant to me," she said, her voice resonating like a distant echo.

He unleashed a storm of lightning. Bolts of lightning erupted from his palms, striking Shibai with pinpoint precision. This time, she raised a shield of pure energy, deflecting the lightning in all directions. The explosions illuminated the white dimension, but Shibai remained unperturbed.

A complex circle of seals appeared under her feet, trying to seal her movement. For a brief moment, she seemed trapped. Shikai took advantage of this opening to attack with a blade infused with yin-yang. He aimed for her heart, but at the last moment, she broke the seal by concentrating her chakra, pushing Shikai back with colossal force.

The Ōtsutsuki woman, tired of playing, went on the offensive. She extended her hand, and a black and white orb, fusing yin and yang, appeared. In an instant, she launched it at Shikai. Unable to dodge, he erected a chakra wall to protect himself, but the orb pierced his defenses as if they didn't exist.

The resulting explosion sent Shikai flying hundreds of meters, his body bouncing on the immaculate ground. He got back up with difficulty, blood flowing from his mouth. But his eyes still glowed with determination.

Shikai lay on the white ground, breathless but still resolute. Every fiber of his being screamed with exhaustion, but he knew that the outcome of this battle would define his future. He couldn't afford to fail. Before him, Shibai stood, implacable, her gaze shining with a condescending icy glare. Yet, the crack on her shield and the slight cut on her arm proved that Shikai had the potential to hurt her.

A potential he intended to exploit to the fullest.

Shikai took a deep breath, closing his eyes to draw from the depths of his chakra. The stigmas on his body began to glow intensely, each mark pulsing with unique energy.

The Yang Stigma: Senju and Uzumaki. His endurance and chakra reached superhuman levels, his wounds healing almost instantly.

The Yin Stigma: Uchiha and Yamanaka. His perception sharpened, the world slowing down around him, while his mind reached a state of perfect synchronization, a rinne sharingan appeared in his left eye.

The Moon Stigma: Hyūga. His veins marked around his eyes as his Tenseigan appeared in his right eye.

The Jūbi Stigma. The combined power of the nine Bijū awakened within him, his body radiating an energy so dense that it cracked the ground around him.

Shikai opened his eyes, his gaze incandescent with determination.

"This time, you won't underestimate me."

Shikai joined his hands. The five elements manifested around him in a display of elemental power.
