New Beelzebub in Hazbin Hotel

Chapter 4: 4. Cerberus

Beelzebub, the Queen of Gluttony, reclined on her opulent crimson throne, her eyes constantly scanning her grand hall filled with mountains of food and frenzied hellhounds. Each day brought new delicacies, but lately, something new had piqued her interest.

Three identical hellhound girls had caught her eye. They were a curious sight: short, pale-skinned demon girls with silvery-white hair that cascaded down their backs, tied into short tails at the end. Their wide, enthusiastic red eyes and constant, happy-go-lucky smiles made them stand out among the other hellhounds. Unlike the rest, they had white canine ears poking out from their hair and small fangs that gleamed when they smiled. They wore form-fitting red button-up long-sleeve shirts underneath black-striped suit vests, slim-fit black suit pants, black cuffs, gloves, and ties.

Beelzebub found herself drawn to their energetic and mischievous nature. They were always together, moving as a unit, their identical movements and expressions adding to their uncanny allure. They introduced themselves simply as Cerberus, and their eager enthusiasm to please and entertain Beelzebub intrigued her.

One day, as the three girls scampered around the hall, Beelzebub beckoned them closer. "Cerberus," she called, her voice a mix of curiosity and command. "Come here, my dears."

The trio bounded over, their wide eyes filled with excitement. "Yes, my Queen?" they chorused, their voices harmonizing in perfect unison.

Beelzebub smiled, a predatory glint in her eyes. "I have been watching you three. Your energy and loyalty please me. How would you like to enter into a special pact with me?"

The girls exchanged glances, their smiles widening into something more sinister. "We would love that, Queen Beelzebub," they replied, their voices laced with a dark excitement.

"Excellent," Beelzebub purred. "From now on, you will serve me directly. You will bring me the finest foods, entertain me, and in return, I will give you power and protection."

Cerberus's eyes gleamed with malevolent joy. "We accept, my Queen. We will serve you faithfully."

Beelzebub reached out, placing a hand on each of their heads. "Then it is done. You are now bound to me by this pact. Serve me well, and you will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams."

The girls' expressions grew even more excited, if that were possible. "Thank you, Queen Beelzebub! We won't disappoint you."

As the days passed, Cerberus proved to be invaluable. Their boundless energy and unwavering loyalty ensured that Beelzebub was always entertained and well-fed. They delighted in their tasks, their enthusiasm infectious, and their presence seemed to amplify Beelzebub's own madness.

One fateful day, Lucifer decided to visit his sister again. He had been troubled by their last encounter and felt a need to see if he could help her regain some semblance of her former self. As he approached Beelzebub's grand hall, the air grew thick with an unsettling energy. He stepped inside and was immediately struck by the sight before him.

Beelzebub sat on her throne, her eyes wild and frenzied, a disturbing grin plastered on her face. The once-gleaming hall was now a chaotic mess, with overturned tables and scraps of food littering the floor. Cerberus flitted around her, their movements erratic, their laughter high-pitched and unsettling.

"Beelzebub," Lucifer called, his voice tinged with concern. "Sister, what has become of you?"

Beelzebub's head snapped up, her gaze locking onto Lucifer. She let out a manic laugh that echoed through the hall. "Lucifer! Come to join the feast? Or perhaps to preach about order and control again?"

Lucifer's heart sank at the sight of her. "Beelzebub, this isn't you. You're losing yourself to the madness. Let me help you."

Beelzebub's laughter grew louder, more unhinged. "Help me? I don't need help! I am Gluttony incarnate, and this is my kingdom! I am exactly who I am meant to be!"

Lucifer took a step forward, desperation in his eyes. "Please, sister. This chaos will consume you. There's still a part of you that can be saved."

Beelzebub's eyes blazed with fury. "Save me? From what? From myself? You don't understand, Lucifer. I don't want to be saved. I revel in this chaos. It gives me strength!"

As Lucifer reached out a hand towards her, Cerberus intervened, their grinning faces suddenly menacing. "Stay back, Lucifer," they hissed, their voices a chilling harmony. "Our Queen doesn't need your pity."

Lucifer looked at the trio, their wide, innocent eyes now gleaming with a predatory malice. "You don't understand. This isn't what she truly wants."

The girls' laughter rang out, mirroring Beelzebub's madness. "We understand perfectly, Lucifer. We serve our Queen, and we delight in her chaos."

Beelzebub leaned back on her throne, her laughter subsiding into a twisted smile. "See, brother? They understand. This is my domain, and I rule it as I see fit."

Lucifer's shoulders slumped in defeat. "I only hope that you don't lose yourself completely, Beelzebub. I will always be here if you ever want to find your way back."

Beelzebub waved a dismissive hand, her eyes glinting with dark amusement. "You worry too much, brother. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a feast to attend to."

As Lucifer turned to leave, Beelzebub's voice rang out again. "More food!" she demanded, her voice echoing with a maniacal edge.

The hellhounds, sensing the urgency and desperation in her tone, began to run wildly around the hall, scouring for new delicacies to present to their queen. They raced against each other, fear driving their frantic efforts to satisfy Beelzebub's insatiable hunger.

Lucifer glanced back one last time, his heart heavy with sorrow. He watched as the hellhounds scrambled to obey Beelzebub's command, their desperation a testament to her growing madness. With a final sigh, he left the hall, the sound of Beelzebub's laughter and the frantic scurrying of hellhounds echoing in his ears.

Beelzebub resumed her feast, a satisfied grin spreading across her face as the hellhounds brought her more and more food. She had found her place in Hell, and she would rule over her domain with an iron will and an unrelenting appetite.

Cerberus danced around her, their enthusiasm undiminished, their loyalty unwavering. They reveled in the chaos, finding joy in their Queen's madness. And Beelzebub, her hunger insatiable, her mind teetering on the edge of sanity, embraced the darkness within her, reveling in the power and chaos that defined her very existence.
