The next morning, Neon woke up to see the rays of sunlight bathing his face in it's glory. He quickly woke up and worked out a little. It is something that his father has thought him to do and he does it always.

After working out, he rested for sometime before heading to the bathroom to bath. He quickly performed his daily personal hygiene routines before heading into the central room.

"Good morning." He greeted Vexis and Shalyn. Both of them were already there doing their own things. He knew that he woke up late and he doesn't need to be told.

"Hey buddy, what's on your mind today?" Vexis asked. Although Shalyn called him a man the other day, he doesn't really look like one as he looks to be in his early twenties.

But in the demonic world, thus when it comes to demons, he is already at the seventh rank. Demons also have ranks just like other creatures. Some are classified based on tiers and others ranks. Demons are classified according to ranks, the same as tiers. And the seventh rank is equivalent to the Ethereal Sage stage.

Meaning a tier five beast will be the same as rank five demon when it had been a demon. Legend says that all creatures could go beyond the ninth rank/tier, becoming divinities.

Let's speak about how all the beasts and demons and beings came into existence.

Nature created everything and chose some superior creations to take care of the minor ones. She bestowed upon all her offsprings the Realm, allowing them to also have some of her traits. This comes in different forms and abilities.

The Realm, was meant to guide them and lead them to better life but that was when the unknown aroused and altered the Realm, creating and adding a bad omen to it.

It was that exact moment that evil started welling up in the world created by nature. After that, nature left her forces to work on their will, those that choose good, they choose and those that choose bad, they choose.

Realms have the power to manifest. That's whatever you think about, as far as you are strong enough, you will be able to manifest it in life. And when evil descended, some forces of nature also turned against her, becoming evil and manifesting evil into the worlds created by nature.

This lead to the creation of demons, beasts, monsters and other ferocious creatures that causes doom to the life of the universe.

Even in the world of beings, some beings have even started cultivating such habits. Nature had only wanted one thing then, balance, balance between her creations.

Realm is the world within the mind, enchanting it's users with limitless potential and power. Realms have dual nature as well since they were altered. It has the positive side and the negative sides.

As one grows on his cultivation journey, he should also focus on the mastery of his Realm too since it serve as the source of power and fuel in his life.

For example, in a hand to hand combat, the Realm could be utilized to harden the body, improve defense or attack and do other things.

Resonance is also something that measures the power level of ones realm. That's how much strength they will be able to exert.

Low resonance denote twenty five percent strength exertion, from the realm. Mid resonance denote fifty percent and high resonance denote seventy five percent. The greatest and rarest is the ultimate resonance with one hundred percent strength exertion and that's full control over the Realm.

"I guess you are the oldest so you'll have to choose." Neon said. Vexis stood up abruptly, "hey, this is a house of democracy not autocracy. Also, mind calling me the oldest, otherwise I will bully you", he said before he sat down.

Neon can only sigh. "Well I guess we have to think about how we will train. I mean since we have no backings, we should be our own backers." Neon said after a while. Of course they have to get strong.

Vexis looked at him, very interested in him, "you really thirst for power and growth." Neon shrugged. He is someone who wouldn't speak much and wouldn't also be too much quiet, thus, he knows when situations are favourable and not.

"Coming to that, what discipline would you like to choose?" Shalyn suddenly asked jumping up. "Flowing Stream Discipline", Neon said cooly. Shalyn immediately hugged him and said, "I love my brotherrr!!" Vexis again rubbed his palm together but before he could wink, he was sent flying by a thrust from Shalyn.

There was a secret about the Flowing Stream Discipline that Neon is the only one who knows. He was told by his parents to keep shut about it wherever he goes. This is because it is related to his parents.

Vexis stood up and cleaned himself, " then I guess I have to make preparations to send you to the Azure Tide Sect then", Vexis said. "Let's now head to the training room so that I can show you what I know.

Although he is a demon and no one knows, their Realm is not different from others just that he chose to cultivate the negative aspect.

After saying that, they headed straight into the training room. It was a very wide room with vast array of weapons and equipments for training. From bows to swords to shields and others. The walls were made from the polished water stones that seems to glow and pulsate with energy due to the energy from the moat.

The weapons were all created as people's manifestations. It is not everyone that would be strong enough to create their own weapons and some necessities in life. This has lead to people taking it upon themselves to specialize in certain aspects of life as their profession and occupation.

Different people have different Realms but that are usually common features. Hence, someone with a landscape of a vast and open library could choose to become a teacher, fiery landscapes could become blacksmiths and etc.

"Pick your weapons." Vexis ordered. Shalyn and Neon picked a weapon each without questioning. Neon went for a sword with a dark blade and a crimson dragon etched into the blade through to the handle. Shalyn chose a great sword which looked to heavy for her but she didn't falter.

"How is she able to do that?" Neon thought about it. " Aren't you picking a weapon?" Neon asked, this time the question was directed towards Vexis.

"I am going to show you the ways of a Realm. I am at the advanced stage of mastery. I choose to not to tell you my rank and also, I have high resonance." Vexis explained.

He then ordered the duo to attack him. Shalyn was the first to move, dragging her great sword on the floor before she spun and slammed it into Vexis. She thought she had done it but she realized her sword did not even get close to him.

Defensive layer huh? Neon thought to himself. "Let's see", he bolted straight up to Vexis. After there was about three meters distance, he thrusted the sword forward, rotating it in his hands like a fan and pushing it through the wall. It immediately collapsed and quickly, Vexis created another to block the attack before evading it. "Excellent" Vexis remarked

"Time to flirt." As Vexis said that, there was a swirling vortex atop of him and from it came a sword with intricate patterns. "Death Ray" he said as he pulled the sword out of the vortex.

He has just manifested a sword. From the battle so far, it could be deduced that all that was said about Realms are true.

He swung the Death Ray and Shalyn intercepted with a slash of her own. Vexis was just sparring with them so of course, he would limit his strength. He is amazed because Neon was able to break through his defense.

From what Vexis knows, he is using a strength that is slightly above the rank one but Neon still manages to fight back.

Seeing this opportunity as Vexis' back was defenseless, he seized the opportunity and threw the sword. It spun in a drilling motion before it cut the back of Vexis and he cried in pain.

Turning around, he bolted for Neon. Neon did the same and when the distance was close enough, Neon knelt and slided below the blow from Vexis's sword.

While skidding on the floor, he picked up his sword before rolling over and crouching. "Wow! I accept defeat." Vexis said as his weapon vanished and he started healing.

He was really content with the duo's performance especially Neon. After healing they decided to head out. "We are going to beast hunting." Vexis said.

He has seen something in Neon and wanted to see how his battle style looks like. All he knows so far is that Neon has not started learning any discipline so how can he fight like that. He had also wanted revenge on Neon for cutting him. He is a demon after all.

Both Shalyn and Neon are Mortal Initiates and Foundation Stage mastery fellas hence, they need to experience battles to stabilize their core and stabilize them.

Vexis also wanted to teach them how to use their Realm.
