Novel's Extra: The Lost Heir of Dragon Queen

Chapter 21: Villainess Classes

Kael stepped out of the washroom, water dripping from his damp hair, and adjusted his collar.

"I should tell Celestara that curse is placed on her" kael muttered to himself.

Walking through the castle's grand hallways, he noted the intricate carvings on the walls and the soft glow of magical crystals that lit the corridors.

As he turned a corner, his sharp eyes caught sight of Celestara and Lumia standing in conversation near the balcony, their elegant figures outlined by the soft rays of sunlight streaming in.

Taking a deep breath, Kael approached and greeted them.

"Hello."

Celestara turned to him with her usual composed grace, her striking presence commanding attention.

"Oh, hi, Kael," she responded warmly, her lips curling into a faint smile. Lumia, however, reacted differently.

She jumped slightly, startled, her purple eyes widening as they took him in.

Kael arched an eyebrow at Lumia's reaction but chose not to comment.

Instead, he shifted his attention to Celestara. "I need to speak with you," he said firmly.

"There's a lot we need to discuss" kael continued now laughing.

'i will at least take 3 of her skills.'kael thought.

Celestara nodded. "Let's walk."

The trio began moving through the castle, Lumia trailing slightly behind.

As they walked, Kael recounted the events of the past days, detailing the confrontation with Marina, the illusions.

He spoke with clarity and precision

Celestara listened intently, her expression unreadable.

Finally, as they reached the grand sitting room, Kael finished. "That's everything," he concluded.

'They said alaric condition is getting better' kael realised that Marina might have been poisoning Alaric under the guise of caring for him.

His gaze locked with Celestara's, unwavering. "Now that Marina is captured, Alaric's condition is improving. And you can cure curse on your own. But I have one request."

Celestara tilted her head slightly, her purple eyes narrowing.

"What is it?"

Kael stood straighter, his resolve evident. "Teach me. At least three of your strongest skills."

Celestara studied him for a long moment, the silence between them heavy. Then, a faint smile played on her lips.

"You've done more for me and my family than I can repay in words, Kael. If this is your request, then I will teach you."

"But I will teach you only 2 skills."

"Huh....Three" kael said.

"Two"

"Okay then teach me two" kael said while giving a sigh.

He knows her nature.

Lumia looked between the two.

"Then let's begin" kael said.

"Now?" Celestara asked.

"Yes."

....

As Kael and Celestara exited the castle's grand hallways, they arrived at the training grounds.

The grounds stretched beyond what the eye could see.

The air was thick.

Kael's gaze swept over the vast expanse.

The training grounds were dotted with large stone pillars, glowing runes, and a variety of targets and dummies.

Above, the sun hung high in the sky.

Celestara stepped forward.

"This place has seen the rise of many great warriors, like me" she said.

"Now, let's begin" she added.

Kael nodded.

The tension in the air thickened as Celestara stood before him, her gaze sharp and unwavering.

She raised her hand, a faint glow beginning to emit from her palm.

The magical energy radiating from her was overwhelming, pressing down on Kael like an unseen force.

"Today," she began, her voice steady.

"I will teach you Umbra Void. Or as some call it, Dark Void. This is not just a skill; it's a tool of survival and dominance in combat. Master it, and you can turn even the most hopeless situation to your advantage."

Kael tilted his head, curiosity evident in his eyes. "Umbra Void?" he asked. Then, with a sigh, he muttered under his breath.

'System, what's that?'

The familiar, blue screen pops up

_____________________

Dark Void (Umbra Noctis)

Upon activation, a dark void envelops the area, plunging everything into an unnatural shadow.

---------

User Vision: While within the void, the caster can see clearly in a muted grayscale.

Opponent's Perspective: Enemies are engulfed in complete darkness, unable to perceive their surroundings accurately, creating confusion and fear.

----------

Additional Effects: The void dampens sounds and obscures scents, adding to the disorientation of opponents and hiding the user's movements.

Kael's brows furrowed.

His lips pressed into a thin line as he absorbed the information.

Complete darkness for them... but perfect clarity for me?

"What a cheat skill ,well I am always the best cheater" he muttered.

Celestara smirked as she noticed the determination flaring in his eyes.

"You already know about it," she said, raising her hand to the sky.

Dark tendrils of energy began to swirl around her fingertips, forming into a dense, inky sphere that pulsated with power.

"This is what it looks like."

With a snap of her fingers, the sphere burst, and the world around them shifted.

A sudden, suffocating darkness descended on the training grounds.

The sun disappeared, replaced by an endless void that seemed to consume all light.

Kael's breath caught in his throat as he glanced around.

He could'nt see at all.

The world had shifted to a muted grayscale, the faint outlines of the ground and objects barely visible.

His senses loosened.

It felt surreal.

From the darkness, Celestara's voice rang out, calm and unyielding. "What do you feel?"

Kael stood slowly, his hands clenched into fists. "Nothing at...all"

"Good," she replied.

"This is what your opponents will face—an all-encompassing void. They will feel trapped, suffocated, and lost. But for you? This is clarity. A battlefield where you hold every advantage."

"But it's only possible when you have reached at a certain mastery over it"

Kael took a deep breath.

"This is great" he muttered to himself.

Celestara's figure materialized from the shadows.

"Now," she said, her tone fierce, "let's see if you're worthy of this power."

Kael's heart pounded as the lesson began.....
