Chapter 9: It's Okay Mom
As the fragmented visions faded, Kael's eyes snapped open.
He found himself lying on a large, lavish bed in an unfamiliar, spacious room.
His mind felt heavy, as if each fragment of his regained memories was settling into place, forming a picture that still seemed surreal.
He sat up slowly, absorbing the ornate details around him—
"It really happened," he whispered to himself, barely able to believe that his memories had returned.
Just then, the sound of footsteps echoed through the hallway.
"Thud!, thud!
He tensed, glancing at the door
"click"
Doors opens revealing Amelia standing in the doorway.
Her sharp red hair fell neatly over one shoulder, her green eyes scanning him with relief and a touch of concern.
"You're awake, have you regained your memories" she said with a small smile, stepping closer.
Kael nodded
"How much time has passed?" Kael asked.
Amelia moved to the side of the bed, meeting his gaze.
"You've been out for almost a week."
A flicker of worry crossed his face.
"Where is my mother?"
Amelia's expression softened as she replied.
"She had to… take care of something important elsewhere."
Well it was lie .
As then Amelia moved closer, she settled behind Kael, holding one of his hands gently.
"Do you remember ,why you have lost your memories" Amelia asked.
Kael shook his head, answering.
"No." It was the truth; he genuinely didn't know what had happened.
Amelia looked at him with a slight smile, her eyes sparkling as she said
"You're handsome."
"What?" Kael said, caught off guard.
"You are so handsome" she repeated again
"Thank you. You're also beautiful."Kael replied
She leaned in, smiling coyly.
"You think so?"
He nodded, feeling a bit flustered.
'What is she upto'
She inched closer, her gaze fixed on him.
Kael felt his heart race as she drew nearer, unsure of her intentions.
Just then, he noticed his younger brother's message, as if signaling it was okay.
Do you think so ,i asked my younger brother. he answered, yes .
Before he could make sense of it, Amelia's hand brushed against him, and then her hand moves towards his younger brother.
Going with the flow.
Kael hand moved instictly lightly touching her boob.
"Ahh..."She let out a soft moan.
'it's soft, so soft" Kael thought to himself
Her expression shifting as they found themselves drawn even closer, almost about to kiss.
"Thud! Thud!"
Suddenly, loud footsteps echoed down the hall.
They both quickly pulled away as the door opened.
Standing there was Sephina, Kael's mother, her gaze sharp as she assessed the scene.
"Is something wrong?" she asked, a hint of suspicion in her voice.
"N-no," Kael stammered, his face flushed with embarrassment.
Sephina's eyes narrowed as she looked at Amelia, crossing her arms.
"Amelia, how many times have I told you not to do anything foolish with Kael? Why are you so fixated on him?"
Amelia smiled, undeterred. "He's just so cute and handsome."
With an exasperated sigh, Sephina waved her hand, and a sudden gust of wind sent
Amelia tumbling out of the room, leaving
Kael wide-eyed and speechless.
Sephina's gaze softened as she looked at Kael.
"You're awake...Kael, have you regained your memories, Kael?" she asked, her voice filled with both hope and concern.
"Yes, Mom." Kael answered, while nodding
A relieved sigh escaped her as she moved toward him, wrapping him in a tight embrace.
He felt the weight of her worry and love as she held him close, her arms trembling slightly.
In that moment, all the strength she usually held seemed to melt away, and tears began to stream down her face.
Feeling her pain and relief, Kael gently whispered,
"It's okay, Mom. I'm here, and I'm good now."
Sephina tightened her hold, as if she could protect him from all the pain he had endured.
The room was quiet, except for her quiet sobs, and Kael found himself reassured by her warmth.
In that embrace, both found a sense of comfort, knowing they had each other.
