Chapter 2163: Putting Down The Influence

Although Peppers was dealing with the Celestial Trickster in another separate dimension, the troops that were under Krishna's influence were still going strong. There was nothing that was stopping them from working despite the supposed distance away from their 'controller'.

Even Milk had thought that Peppers made a brilliant move by pushing Krishna into her dimensional instance and possibly breaking the spell away from the mind control influence.

Unfortunately, it did not work so she either had to knock all of them down or... there is actually no other choice. However, she was not alone in this matter, Kalki and Parashurama had stated that they would help bear the consequences of Milk and the rest of Jin's army.

While killing was not recommended, it can be used as a method to stop the Celestial Army from being influenced by Krishna. "You should consider yourself lucky that Krishna did not stoop down to using necromancy yet," Kalki said as she withdrew right beside Milk as she gave the go ahead to defeat the Celestial Armies.

"It's fine, we dealt with worse stuff than an undead army." Milk still had the shivers when she remembered fighting against the Demon Rats. They were a persistent bunch of monsters, and she was relieved that it was ultimately under Jin's purview.

"I could not think of anything worse than an undead army. Looks like you are a well travelled warrior." Kalki was just happy conversing with Milk knowing that there was a fighter who possessed an equivalent amount of strength as her. Even though Milk does not show it outright, the aura she exudes is more than sufficient for Kalki to judge.

"Heh, you go deal with your friends, I am guessing they are all demanding some answers." Milk said as she took out not her gloves or gauntlets to fight. Instead, she brought out her giant cross weaponry and faced it towards the Celestial Armies who were rushing at all sides toward the Ress Defenders.

"Since I am in a mood for prayer, let's fight angels with angels." Milk said as she poured her energy into it and in the middle of the battlefield, a huge gate suddenly appeared facing vertically down towards the ground. Blue flames ignited throughout the sieves of the door as it slowly opened the moment bells hanging at the side of the huge gate started to ring.

Soon, literal angels, humans with wings began flying out from the gate and began gathering around Milk.

The Celestial Armies who saw this did not hesitate to give them any chance for any organisation and already turned their attention to this huge ass heavenly gate that was pouring out winged naked humans out from it.

"Wow, they are really anxious to kill something off, is it?" Milk said as she once again poured energy into her giant cross by slapping it at the side. In an instant, the winged naked humans started materialising suits of armour in them and weapons started to manifest not in physical form but in magic form.

Their swords, spears, bows, and other manners of weapons were all shaped with a blue fiery elemental energy. Once their weapons had fully manifested, they immediately zoomed in to retaliate against the incoming Celestial Armies that wished to harm anything that was not Celestial in nature.

What Milk had called out was actually a mix of the Gates of Hell and the Gates of Valhalla. Those Battle Angels might have been the infamous valkyries but given that Milk's powers do not originate solely from Celestial beings, this particular move was devised by Peppers' teachings when Milk was not an asshole to Peppers and vice versa.

Human bodies are filled with the lost souls of Demons. One could say they were half angel half demon. Fallen Angels might have been a more precise name for this new group of combatants and they were strong enough to clash against the various Celestial Armies who had been mind controlled and buffed by Krishna's attacks.

It seemed like with the scale this big, Milk believed if it was to leave it to Peppers, this place would have already been charred a long time ago. Even these Fallen Angels might not help much when it comes to fighting since the Rifle Mages could be equally strong as them but why Milk had called them out was because the Fallen Angels had something that the Rifle Mages do not have.

The ability to seal the Celestials' powers.

As a Lead Priestess of a faction that she did not wish to have much association with right now have always been perceived as a heretic religion. However, despite that so called brand imbued into her religion, they were not shunned at all. In fact, their world needed them because of their abilities to seal other beings.

This was because the Fallen Angels could seal not just Celestials but also demons. And when it comes to Demons in Milk's old world, they were as rampant as the Dashavatara had been.

But considering how the Fallen Angels' current goal was not just to seal and kill but seal only, they were a little more conservative with their fighting, leaving most of it for Ress Rifle Mages to handle the remaining portion of things.

The System had instructed how the Rifle Mages should do their job and though some did it grudgingly since it was technically something akin to taking prisoners while still in battle, most fulfilled the System's command so that all of them could be taken in one place eventually and Milk can purify the Mind Control influence out from their heads and hearts.

What was left was the argument between Kalki, Parashurama, and the remaining Dashavatara who had no idea what was going on that prompted Kalki to do a ceasefire and how they could save Krishna from getting killed. At the same time while all of this going on, the latter was undoubtedly going through the process of getting killed as Peppers did not give any leeway in her explosive magic slideshow.
