Number One Dungeon Supplier

Chapter 2167: Tricked?

"And the deal is done." The Dashavatara all signed their names onto the piece of contract paper. The Celestial Army had been calmed down from the Celestial Trickster's outrage and they felt that this was one of the best ways to move forward.

Jin could finally take a deep breath of relief as he understood that the task at hand had finally been completed. His armies who had been fighting for days were able to take a breather as well. The Dashavatara as a whole was not exactly happy with the outcome since they had been losing the moment they entered this particular battlefield, most of them had decided to let it go.

They finally found where Lord Vishnu was, and the intentions of their God of Preservation on why he had 'disappeared'. They had decided to continue to support their boss but also urged him to return to the Celestial Planes since there were too many tasks he had left.

"Matsya can handle them, no? He had always wanted to be the next God of Preservation. Would not this be the best time to step up?" Lord Vishnu asked and his Fishmen Avatar suddenly had his face turned hot red. The rest eyed him with a mix of emotions for obvious reasons.

Some of them believed he was up to the task, while others felt that Lord Vishnu was patronising his First Avatar way too much. At the same time, they will also know that Lord Vishnu is not the kind who will make such decisions on a whim.

It seemed as if the talks of his retirement were real and now that he personally acted as the 'key supporter' for Jin and his dungeon supplier store, the Dashavatara knew that there was no way of talking him out of it. (The System was having so much kicks watching from behind the scenes.)

"Now that this is done, I will release the interdimensional barrier. Please be careful in returning back to the Celestial Plane." Jin said even though everyone in the room knew that the person who was doing the barrier was Lord Vishnu.

It irritated them that a human was controlling the commands of their Lord on a whim but since this was what their Lord wanted, they had decided to keep their mouth shut about it.

"Are you sure that you do not want them to stay and rebuild your city for you?" Lord Vishnu asked. "Not even my help?"

"No, we humans will do it ourselves. This world as much as they do not like it, had already seen this battle for themselves.

As much as we constrained ourselves to fight this within our own territory, the other human kingdoms would have already spread the news of this so called war against the Celestials." Jin said and the Dashavatara realised that this was really one of the few instances where humans had won against the Celestials.

If this news were to be leaked out, it might prove to discredit the strength of the Dashavatara. Even more so when questions are bound to arise when the group is going to enter the Celestial Plane with a big bunch of injured people.

"Do not open the Interdimensional Barrier just yet. Render our people some aid or let us stay somewhere to recuperate before allowing us to return." Kalki requested and it took a while for Jin to process before understanding that the Dashavatara wanted some 'face' before returning to their homes.

"Hmmm…I understand. We will vacate the Lyro Sea Fortress City temporarily so you can stay there to reorganise your forces. At the same time, let me see if I can create a 'trophy' for you or not but it will not come cheap."

"What do you mean?" Matsya could not understand what game is Jin playing again, in fact, he was too tired to even think of anything now that the whole issue had been settled. The First Avatar of the Dashavatara could not believe that they came here because of a misunderstanding and he just really wanted to get out of this castle hall.

The only few people who comprehended what Jin was talking were Kalki and their Celestial Wanderer, Vamana, and Siddhartha Buddha.

"We can either prepare the Celestial Gold for your efforts or take it as an additional favour for us to work better in setting up the connections for your store," Vamana said slyly and Jin smiled. He could see a businessman in action when Vamana gave such terms.

"Sure, I can do that for you as a favour but the supplies for your troops reorganisation as well as recuperation would come at double the cost. Surely, some reparations for the battle should be a given, right? After all, my people in this kingdom still need to survive in the long term."

"We currently do not have any Celestial Gold with us, and we cannot pass the Celestial Gold just like this, with a snap of a finger," Vamana commented but he knew how much Jin could be potentially earning since the standards of the supplies and reparations might be known to him if he had set his sights for setting up store in the Celestial Plane.

What's more, Vamana had no idea what kind of knowledge Lord Vishnu gave this human and how Lord Vishnu was able to be 'seduced'.

He and Siddhartha Buddha had been quietly attempting to discern if their Lord was in a spell or not but so far, their Lord was undoubtedly in his sound mind while making all of those decisions and sprouting such nonsense about helping this human out.

All Vamana could deduce is that Jin is not some swindler from the streets. To be able to convince and trick their God of Preservation meant that he was in danger of playing his tune. It was a matter of how the tune could go and how much the Celestial Wanderer had been tricked even though he thought that he is in control of the situation.

Thus despite saying no to Jin, he decided to do the safe route before falling more into his trap.

"-In return…if you are willing to wait, we can gather the funds and give it to you once you start up your store. Will that be a sufficient compromise?" Vamana asked and regardless of what he said, Jin was on the winning side.
