Chapter 91: Character Dive! 7.0 Update!

"Hopeless wonder. Part 1 & 1.5"

Character: Ahgo and Ahmay.

Species: Deeplurk Goblinoid subspecies.

Class: Ahgo: Sorcerer. Ahmay: Alchemist.

Age: 120 HLS 60 Goblin years.

Nation: Slycen Mound, The Deep. Underworld of Enverdolmal.

Weapon: Four Enchanted rings each. (8 in total between the twins.)

-Ahgo uses a Shaka-Laka Staff and a Silver wrist band that is blessed with the ability to channel Thunder bound Aether.

-Ahmay uses a Battle Tome and a Golden wrist band that is blessed with the ability to channel Earthbound Aether.

Origin:

Twins are a rarity among Goblins.

SMART Goblins are even more rare.

A set of twins who are BOTH intellectually blessed, is a whole different thing all on its own.

Born to one of the few Deeplurks who was blessed with the task of exploring and documenting the Big Bright, it is thought that these twins were gifted their intellect on purpose for some still unforeseen reason via some means magical or otherwise.

Although they are identical in appearance, their personalities are vastly different.

While Ahgo is loud, boisterous, and often outright rude, Ahmay is surprisingly mind mannered and more inclined to manipulate his enemies into fighting one another before resulting to feeding them a boulder or thunder clap.

Both are silent and timid before Lady Slycenbite.

The twins were hired by Lady Slyceneat in order to bring her foods of different types, from far and wide. She sent them on a one way expedition to the Big Bright from The Deep along with an escort of 30 disposable soldiers. Only half a dozen would make the equally perilous return trip.

The twins were left alone in the lone cave that would lead them to the Big Bright.

They would ever only be able and ALLOWED to return should they find the best foods and drinks for their insatiable Queen. They were also tasked with finding their way back. For any other pair of Goblinoids, this would have been a death sentence, but with their combined minds and cunning, they would manage just that.

It was they who established a safer and more secure rout between the Big Bright and The Deep, one that could be guarded and watched with a bit more ease. Yet still, their own means of travel was not thus. Magical yet unknown means exist between the two that let them make the journey a bit faster than anyone else.

Ahgo is well versed in Sorcery and Ahmay prefers Alchemy.

They both have come across, acquired, earned, and even stolen their fair share of magical trinkets and jewelry along their travels. A favorite of their kin, magical or not.

These have made them not only wiser, but far more formidable in combat situations.

They are both respected and feared by all but Lady Slycenbite, their newest Queen.

Update!

Before they were the feared right and left hands of Lady Slycenbite, Ahgo and Ahmay were nothing more than a pair of brighter-than-normal Goblinoids.

A pair of cold, hungry, tired, wary, and desperate Deeplurks.

They had been sent away to the distant and daunting surface world that their kin called "The Big Bright." to complete the task that their long-dead mother had once been tasked with.

Now that they had established and mapped out a relatively safe route to the surface world, they could focus on the remainder of their initial goal:

Returning home only to deliver what surface goods and trinkets that they could find to their ever-daydreaming, ever-scheming, and ever-hungry Queen.

The journey had been Hellz in a bottle.

Several Soldiers had been slain and eaten alive by massive and unruly Cave Worms in their very first day out, and from that point, things seemed to have only gotten worse...

Sheer cliff drops and dead ends that made them retrace hours worth of hiking.

Little to no thermal vents about to keep them warm or any semblance of the word.

Rations falling short due to a good third being lost in the encounter with the aforementioned Cave Worm...

By a tendays time, and with the better part of their expedition team either lost to them or killed off in some gruesome manner, they finally stumbled forth from the pitch black of The Deep and into the pale moon light of the Big Bright, also known as Northern Enverdolmal.

Just the two of them.

The remainder of their escort had simply and quickly turned about and returned home.

With very little idea of where to start, the twins had just began to lament their poor luck and poorer fate, when a new and sudden ally would make a surprise appearance.

"A day of duels. Part 1.5" and "Hopeless wonder. Part 1.5"

Character: Nuva Swar, A.K.A Agent Novala.

Species: Elfym/Dwarfym hybrid.

Class: Spy/Saboteur.

Age: 45 HLS. Approx. 90 by either Elfym or Dwarfym count.

Nation: Port Noordoor, Naeri.

Weapon: Black feather-bladed Labrys.

-Runes and Sigils tattooed onto the flesh beneath the nails of her fingers.

Origin:

Born to an affluent family who specialized in all aspects of trade and transport, both legal and not, Nuva's childhood and even her early teen years were just about as normal as they came for a child whose parents were black markets merchants.

She was a well-studied and highly motivated student at the local school that she grew up in, opting to not take the trip to Garth Verlore, as many children did.

Nuva had always wanted to follow in the footsteps of her parents, and thus she had forgone her invite to the renowned place of study in order to remain with her family and thus learn the tricks and tools of the trade.

In her youth she could be easily described as either far too curious for her own good, or far too nosey. Either was just as good for the career that she sought to lead...

She had learned through her mother and father, the power of knowledge, and how far one could truly go in life with the right things known.

She would grow to obsess with the acquisition of any and all things secret and hidden, a passion that would often lead to her learning and thus knowing far more than she ever should about many, many important and even dangerous people.

Nuva would realize from a young age just how valuable other peoples information could be to the right buyers, and this would get her both into and out of trouble for quite some time until one fateful night when her bartering abilities happen to catch the eye and ear of one particular Astronomage.

Upon having her gift for gathering and redistributing vital information recognized by a -then fledgling- Spymaster by the name of Rayden, Nuva was promptly recruited into the super-secret spy network of Naeri known only as S.T.A.R.

Although she would be allowed to continue her work alongside her family, the better part of her time is spent out and about the lands of Enverdolmal, carrying out various task and missions from not only Spymaster Rayden in service to Garth Verlore and Naeri as a whole, but also the enigmatic leader of a growing group and Black-robed, mysterious individuals who are slowly gathering a slew of ancient artifacts.

Nuva's blood is unique and oversaturated with Aether in a similar manner to that of a Changelings due to her Elfym/Dwarfym lineage. Due to this fact, she has an abnormally large amount at her disposal, but it must be constantly used or "vented" or she will become terminally ill.

Abilities:

-Runes permanently applied beneath the fingernails of her right hand.

These are based on Lightning, Fire, Water, Earth, and Air elements, and grant her the ability to cast spells based on any of these elements or a mixture of the lot without the need of a wand or similar artifact.

-Sigils permanently applied beneath the fingernails of her left hand.

These grant her magical buffs that passively give her a boost to her natural stats at a small yet constant tax to her Aether pool.

These "boost" are applied to her Strength, dexterity, resistance to Low magics, agility, and resilience.

Stats:

Strength: 6.5/10.

Stamina: 7.5/10.

Agility: 8.5/10.

Aether: 9/10.

Dexterity: 7.5/10.

Resilience: 7/10.

Intellect: 8.5/10.

Resistance: High: 7/10. Low: 9.5/10.
