Chapter 3: The Island’s Wrath Awakens
The ground shook violently, and the jungle seemed to come alive around them. The stone statues began to move, their once lifeless eyes now glowing with a fiery red light. The crew stood frozen for a moment, caught off guard by the sudden shift in the island's atmosphere.
Luffy, still grinning, stepped forward. "This is gonna be fun!" he shouted, already cracking his knuckles.
"Are you crazy?!" Nami yelled, grabbing him by the arm. "Do you even know what's happening?"
The cloaked figure raised a hand, signaling for the statues to halt. "Do not underestimate this place," the figure said, their voice now more urgent. "These statues were created to protect an ancient power—one that is not meant for your world."
Robin's eyes scanned the carvings on the pedestal. "I've seen something like this before... these symbols are warnings. This island was sealed for a reason."
Before anyone could respond, one of the statues lunged forward, its stone fists crashing down toward Luffy. With a swift motion, Luffy dodged, grinning even wider. "Let's see if it can keep up!" He stretched his arms, preparing to punch.
But before Luffy could attack, Zoro stepped in front of him, his swords drawn. "We don't know what we're dealing with yet, Luffy," he said, his voice calm but firm. "Let's think this through."
Suddenly, the ground beneath them began to crack, revealing an enormous underground chamber. The rumbling intensified, and the island seemed to be shifting as if it were waking from a long slumber.
"We need to get out of here!" Chopper yelled, but it was already too late.
The cloaked figure raised their hand again, and the statues stopped, retreating back into their original positions. "You have no choice but to follow me now. The island's secrets cannot be ignored any longer."
To be continued...
