Chapter 11: Ch.011 Have you ever been hit by lightning?
Ch.011 Have you ever been hit by lightning?
⚡⚡⚡⚓⚓⚓⚡⚡⚡
Sprawled on a comfy sofa, Crocodile was sketching out his "Utopia" when a sharp alarm startled him.
"What?!"
The lightning bolt above his head kept getting bigger and bigger. Overwhelmed by dizziness, he couldn't open his eyes. Reacting instinctively, he dodged sideways using elemental transformation.
But he was too slow.
The force of the lightning strike sent him plummeting down the stairs, leaving a bottomless pit in its wake.
Though somewhat resistant to lightning as a Sandman, Crocodile still felt the force and heat of the lightning bolt.
"Hiss~"
Sir Crocodile groaned in pain beneath the massive pit into which he had fallen.
The impact of the lightning left him with the sensation of internal devastation, and his injuries, already severe, were worsened by burns and further disfigurement.
He had incredible willpower. He still managed to pull himself up, even in that predicament.
He then dissolved from the waist down into sand and escaped the massive pit in flight.
"Who is it?!"
Gritting his teeth, Crocodile swept his golden hook from left to right, only to reveal a bloody hand where the hook had been destroyed.
The violent thunder woke the people in the Rainbase.
Crocodile's appearance made them instantly aware that something was amiss. Frantically, they ran from the problematic Rainbase.
Screams and fighting erupted repeatedly, creating a chaotic and noisy scene.
"Crocodile, you should be focusing on building your strength to challenge Whitebeard, not wasting your time with petty conspiracies in this insignificant country!"
James stood in the air, and a powerful electromagnetic pulse, a wave of crackling energy, surged from his body, instantly engulfing Rainbase.
⚡Pulse of Destruction⚡
Then, a surge of power coursed through the Rainbase, frying every electronic device, filling the air with the acrid smell of burning wires and melting plastic.
In addition, James possessed the ability to instantly transport himself to any point in the electromagnetic field using only his mind.
"I don't believe we've met, Mister. We've never had a problem, so why are you picking a fight with me?"
The crocodile's face paled in humiliation because of James. He saw the other's face in the sky, his fists clenched tight as he fought back the urge to battle.
Bleeding from multiple wounds inflicted in the surprise attack, he knew his situation was dire.
"I just wanted to have some fun with you."
A chuckle escaped James's lips; instantly, he materialized behind Crocodile.
He unleashed a devastating side kick, his Armament Haki-imbued foot aimed at Crocodile's back.
"Have you ever been struck by lightning?"
Startled, Sir Crocodile felt a sharp pain in his back as he was thrown backward.
Having demolished several walls and tumbled across the ground numerous times, the Sir Crocodile finally came to a stop, utterly spent and unable to fight.
"Damn it! It's the Rumble-Rumble Fruit"
Aggrieved, the crocodile unexpectedly spat out a large amount of blood.
He didn't expect that he would have such an unlucky day, and actually met such a powerful enemy in "Paradise".
'Ground Death – Erosion'
He touched down, and the nearby buildings slowly turned to sand and disappeared into the ground. The land lay barren and lifeless, transformed into a dry, desolate wasteland.
His face looked a little better after absorbing some water.
Despite this, the inhabitants of the rain-drenched land suffered greatly. The slow runners fell into the sand, their lives in immediate danger.
Crocodile glared at James, and the sand around him whirled wildly.
"Sables: Pesado (Super Heavy Sand Storm!)"
As Crocodile attempted to whip up a massive sandstorm, the sand around him spun violently.
Because this isn't a turn-based game, James won't be foolish enough to wait for him.
"Too slow!"
Before the crocodile could fully strike, James had already gathered a substantial amount of lightning.
Extending his hands, he summoned a thunderbird which then swooped down at Crocodile.
⚡30,000,000 Volt Hino (ThunderBird) ⚡
With a powerful gust, the Thunderbird shattered the condensed sandstorm, its force also knocking Crocodile to the ground. Finally, the Thunderbird detonated.
Who was the strongest man in the Rainbase? Only Sir Crocodile!
'Rainbase', the casino he opened here, became a magnet for criminals and gambling addicts.
The aftermath of James and Crocodile's battle left not a single survivor; the scene was one of utter devastation.
The storm subsided, and James, with his lightning powers, materialized before Crocodile.
"Guh... Pluton... My utopia..."
Sir crocodile lay unconscious, near death.
He died in the barren desert, the sun beating down mercilessly, never understanding why he'd been targeted.
A concentrated ball of lightning, humming with power, materialized in James' hands.
He swiftly slapped it onto Crocodile, a blinding flash accompanying the zap that not only drained the pirate of his fruit's powers but cleanly transferred them into a prepared pineapple placed nearby.
The pineapple underwent a rapid transformation, ultimately developing into a Devil Fruit exhibiting a cactus-like pattern.
"Is this the Sand-Sand Fruit? Giving Vivi, the "Desert Princess," this power is a good idea, but the timing isn't right."
A fiery glint appeared in James's eyes as the need for more devil fruit to experiment on consumed him.
Stripped of his devil fruit's power, Crocodile's body was now visibly weaker and drier.
With a raised and clenched fist, James summoned a ball of fire from a continuous stream of lightning sparks.
He burned Crocodile's body to ashes.

"James!"
Upon James's return, Vivi eagerly rushed to him, and he immediately and firmly held her close in his arms.
His scent, distinctly masculine, filled her with a sense of comfort and security.
"James, I'm grateful for your help."

Vivi kissed James deeply, pouring all her gratitude and affection into the embrace as their lips met passionately. Her body molded against his strong frame, hands roaming over his muscular back.
James pulled Vivi flush against him, one hand cupping her rear possessively while the other reached up to palm her breast through her thin top. He squeezed the soft mound roughly, making Vivi gasp into his mouth.
The kiss grew heated and sloppy as tongues tangled wetly. Strings of saliva connected their lips when they parted for air before diving back in. James' fingers dug into Vivi's plump bottom as he ground his growing hardness against her hip.
"Mmmph...James..." Vivi moaned breathlessly, head lolling back. Her cheeks were flushed and eyes glazed with desire.
James took advantage of her exposed neck, dragging his tongue along the column of her throat. He nipped at her pulse point, sucking hard enough to leave a mark.
Vivi whimpered needily, arching into him. James kneaded her breast harder, tweaking a pert nipple between his fingers through the fabric until she mewled.
Their kissing grew more frantic and urgent as hands roamed freely, groping and caressing with unrestrained hunger. Soft pants and wanton moans filled the place, muffled by their lip-locked embrace.
James backed Vivi up against the wall, pinning her there with his body. He ravaging her mouth until they were both panting for air.
When they finally broke apart, a strand of drool connected their slick lips. James' eyes burned with desire as he looked down at Vivi's flushed face and kiss-swollen mouth.
"Damn Vivi...you taste so fucking good," he rasped, voice rough with lust, but reigned it in.
James offered a small smile and said, "It's too early to thank me, You can show your gratitude to me plenty of times once you're back at the palace."
Vivi blushed and murmured softly, "Hmm~"
He caressed her backside gently, then, looking around at everyone, James said, "Robin, Crocodile is dead. Inform all Baroque Works' top commanders to meet me in Arabasta within five days."
"Okay, God~sama," Robin teased.

Location: Katorea, the Rebel Base camp
"Koza, we're out of water again! That damned king—when are we rescuing everyone?"
"Not yet"
A solemn expression was on Koza's face. His father still trusted the king and persuaded Koza not to mobilize troops, but he had become the leader of the rebels and he had to think about his subordinates.
Despite this, Arabasta was officially recognized as a member state of the World Government.
Even were he to succeed in his rebellion, the World Government would not acknowledge him.
He was delaying action because he knew he'd be eliminated soon.
[That's all for now]
