At Sabaody Archipelago, in Area GR-1, the public execution was underway.

"Descendant of the Pirate King?!"

Issho was visibly shocked upon hearing Ace's true identity.

The Fifth Emperor of the sea, the man who had destroyed Enies Lobby, had an identity that shook the world to its core?

Could it be that the most "evil" bloodline—reviled by the Marines and the World Government—was carried by this very man?

No, something didn't add up.

Issho used his Observation Haki to sense the memories of the three Celestial Dragons. His grip on his cane tightened, veins bulging with rage.

His face twisted in disgust.

Even though he had lost his sight and couldn't see the memories in full detail, his Observation Haki allowed him to feel the sheer ugliness and sinfulness of the Celestial Dragons.

The slaves they tortured had gone from despair to numbness before they were eventually freed—through death—after being toyed with by the Celestial Dragons.

Greed, anger, lust, despair, numbness, sorrow...

The filth and evil of human nature were vividly present in the memories of these so-called "nobles."

Throughout his travels around the world, Issho had encountered countless vile and despicable people. But the depravity of the Celestial Dragons was unparalleled.

Is blood truly a sin?

If so, how should the Celestial Dragons' actions be judged?

Using their status as so-called "world nobles," they turned people into slaves and treated them worse than animals.

Isn't this the greatest sin of all?

Yet here was Ace, the man who the Marines and the World Government deemed guilty simply for his bloodline, about to be publicly executed for that supposed crime.

Even in the face of the Celestial Dragons...

Even under the relentless pursuit of the Marines and the entire World Government...

He was to be executed publicly for a crime that wasn't his own.

And Admiral Akainu—one of the World Government's highest authorities and the likely successor to the position of Marine Fleet Admiral—was turning a blind eye to the atrocities committed by the Celestial Dragons, focusing only on condemning Ace for his "sinful" lineage.

Issho couldn't hide his disappointment.

If the Marines were to be led by a man like Akainu in the future, would they still be an institution worth joining?

Could they still protect the people?

Was this why fate had led him here, to meet this man?

Was his destiny to side with Portgas D. Ace and join the Entei Pirates?

But...

Issho held the dice in his hand, glancing at Ace's back, his expression flickering between uncertainty and determination.

He had always stood firm in his beliefs and sought justice. But based on Akainu's actions and the revelations he'd received from his dice, he found it difficult to commit himself to a life of piracy.

Once again, he needed to "see" things more clearly.

And there was still the former princess of Alabasta aboard Ace's ship, wasn't there?

He had looked into the Alabasta incident but still had lingering doubts.

Perhaps this time, he could resolve them all.

If it truly was his fate, and joining the Entei Pirates would allow him to fulfill his desire to protect the people—then why not?

He had never cared about status or labels like "pirate."

"Hmm?"

At that moment, Issho suddenly turned his head, sensing a surge of emotion from the man standing next to him.

"Roger's bloodline? So that's it… Portgas D. Ace… No wonder."

Silvers Rayleigh!

The man known as "The Dark King," the right-hand of the Pirate King, stood there, tears streaming down his face, his smile broad and unrestrained.

His voice trembled as he recalled the past.

——

"Hey! Your ship is impressive! It's perfect for sailing."

"Join my crew. My name is D. Roger!"

"Come with me, Rayleigh! Let's turn the world upside down! Hahaha!"

——

The carefree smile of the man who had convinced him to join him with just a few words was still fresh in his memory, even after all these years.

"Roger, you're not really gone, are you?"

Rayleigh's gaze was fixed on Ace's back, his smile growing wider.

The man who inherited your bloodline is turning the world upside down right now.

No, he's causing even more chaos than you ever did. The upheaval is even greater!

Rayleigh's smile became even more reckless.

"Who are you?"

Issho, having overheard Rayleigh's words and sensed his emotions, turned to him with a puzzled look.

"I had retired, and I didn't want to mention my name again, but..."

Rayleigh looked at Issho, a smirk forming on his lips, the aura of a king radiating from him.

"Silvers Rayleigh."

The curve of Rayleigh's smile grew more pronounced, exuding an air of overwhelming presence.

The ship of the new era was about to set sail.

Perhaps it was time for this old body of mine to get moving once again?

Rayleigh's eyes flashed with the signature purple-black hue of Conqueror's Haki.

"The Pirate King Right-hand man, Silvers Rayleigh!?"

Issho was visibly taken aback.

This was the legendary pirate, the vice-captain of the Pirate King—the man known as the "Dark King."

"So, you're stepping back into the world, Dark King?"

Issho asked with a solemn expression.

"Who knows."

Rayleigh's smile was cryptic, filled with untold meaning.

"Hmm?!"

At that moment, both Issho and Rayleigh's expressions stiffened.

"..."

Rayleigh's eyes wavered as he turned to look at Ace's crew.

"Ace is a descendant of the Pirate King?"

It was the first time the girls had learned about Ace's lineage, and when they heard the news, their beautiful eyes widened in surprise.

The Pirate King was a legendary figure, both in this era and on these seas.

——

"Do you want my treasure? Go find it! I left it all in one place!"

——

Those famous words had marked the beginning of the Great Pirate Era. Countless people, dreaming of the legendary treasure ONE PIECE, had set sail, becoming pirates themselves.

It's no exaggeration to say that Roger changed the course of history.

"I never heard Ace mention that..."

Kaya covered her lips, staring at Ace's back.

"No wonder... No wonder Ace went alone to the execution platform in Loguetown."

Tashigi, who was tall and graceful, blinked in astonishment.

Especially Tashigi—she had taken Ace to the very execution platform where the Pirate King had once stood.

And now it turns out... Ace is the descendant of the Pirate King?

Becoming a crew member of the Pirate King's heir feels like a dream.

Tashigi's eyes sparkled with awe.

"It's not that he didn't say it, just that it wasn't necessary,"

Robin, having shaken off her initial shock, looked at Ace's back and gave a faint smile.

"What Ace is aiming for is something beyond the title of Pirate King, isn't it?

With his capacity and freedom, Ace is certainly a man destined for greater things."

Ace... the man who wants to become the king of the world!

Robin's lips curved into a stunning smile.

From the moment you saved me, I believed in you.

Ace, you will become the king of the world!

Your spirit and freedom far surpass those of the Pirate King.

To you, being the Pirate King's descendant is just a small step on the road to becoming the ruler of the world.

"Yes, Ace... that's Ace."

Nami smiled.

"He's aiming for something much bigger than just being the Pirate King's heir."

Kaya bit her lip, her eyes moist as she stared at Ace's back.

"Kaya?"

Nami noticed Kaya's reaction, and also bit her lip, sensing her friend's unease. Her eyes, filled with sympathy, followed Ace's figure.

"Ace... being the descendant of the Pirate King must have been incredibly hard for him growing up.

Though I've never experienced it myself, I can imagine that once the Marines found out, they would stop at nothing to hunt him down.

To grow up alone under such scrutiny, where newspapers constantly painted his bloodline as sinful…

It must have been like the entire world was denying Ace's existence.

And Ace... he's been dealing with this ever since he was a child.

Yet, despite everything, he's remained gentle and strong. It must have been so hard for him, right?"

Kaya's tears slipped down her cheeks as she gazed at Ace with a tender heart.

She'd been frail since childhood, confined to her villa, unable to travel far or make friends.

Her isolated life had often left her feeling frustrated.

But at least, she'd had her parents' love.

Ace, on the other hand, though he had done nothing wrong, was burdened with the Pirate King's blood.

Even in Syrup Village, newspapers branded the Pirate King's bloodline as evil, the world's greatest sin.

The World Government portrayed his lineage as a crime, making it feel like the entire world was rejecting Ace's existence.

Yet, despite growing up in such an environment, Ace remained kind.

And he had saved her.

"Yes, despite growing up in a world that denied his very existence, Ace is still so gentle...

He still dreams of creating a world where everyone has enough to eat, and where everyone can enjoy banquets together.

Ace is the greatest man in the world.

He will definitely become the king of the world!

Ace... the man who strives to be the king of the world!"

Vivi gazed at Ace's back, her eyes welling with tears, yet filled with unwavering determination.

I want to help you.

I may not be strong enough yet, but I will become stronger!

Sand-Sand Fruit, answer my heart's call.

I want to stand beside Ace—the future king of the world—as his Princess of the Desert!

"Buzz!"

On Vivi's neck, the lucky charm Ace had made for her glowed brightly.

"That's right! Ace is the man who will become the king of the world!"

Kaya wiped her tears away, filled with hope.

Ace was so strong—immensely strong!

In her eyes, Ace was the strongest of all.

But the path to becoming king of the world would be fraught with challenges.

I want to use the Healing Fruit to heal Ace, to soothe all his wounds—whether of the body or soul.

Healing Fruit, respond to my heart's desire.

"Buzz!"

On Kaya's neck, her own lucky charm, crafted by Ace, began glowing fiercely.

A Realm of Comprehension enveloped Vivi and Kaya, shrinking down to their scale.

"This... what is this?"

Rayleigh's pupils contracted in surprise.

"Whoosh!"

The moisture in the air evaporated rapidly, the earth and rocks crumbling, vegetation withering, turning to sand.

"Buzz!"

Tiny golden lights appeared in the air.

The dead and decaying vegetation began to rejuvenate, regaining life under the glow of the lights.

"Their Devil Fruits have awakened!?"

Rayleigh watched the scene, visibly shocked.

The Sand-Sand Fruit... and it seemed the Healing Fruit, a Paramecia and Logia, had awakened.

But what was that mysterious light surrounding the Den Den Mushi?

Without it, these two girls wouldn't have been able to awaken their Devil Fruit powers at this moment.

Could that be Ace's doing?

However, it didn't seem like the power of a Devil Fruit... what was it?

Rayleigh's gaze flickered with confusion.

"To become the king of the world and create a world where everyone can eat their fill and celebrate together...

Even as the world denies his bloodline and his very existence, he still strives for something so noble."

Issho was now paying close attention to Vivi and Kaya's proclamation, his face awash with shock.

Having traveled the world, Issho had seen countless instances of hunger and suffering.

Though blind, his Observation Haki allowed him to sense it all—hunger was the most terrifying plight for the people.

Could such a world, one without hunger, where everyone could hold banquets, be created?

It was the very dream he had always pursued.

"Haha! You don't want to be Pirate King, but king of the entire world?

Unlike Rocks, though, you want to create a world of celebration? Haha!"

Rayleigh looked to the sky, laughing until tears filled his eyes.

"Buzz!"

Suddenly, a bright light flashed in the sky.

"So scary. Two Devil Fruit awakening... I can't just stand by and watch."

With the brilliant light came a somewhat casual voice.

"Admiral Kizaru—wielder of the Sparkling Fruit!"

Robin's expression tightened as she identified the voice.

"Buzz!"

Kizaru's figure materialized, and he pointed his finger toward Vivi.

The power of the Sparkling Fruit gathered rapidly at Kizaru's fingertips.

"Zing!"

"Clang!"

Two blades sliced through Kizaru's form simultaneously.

"Zing!"

Kizaru, turning into a beam of light, hit the ground-turned-desert, triggering a massive explosion.

"Kizaru, can't you be a little more patient?"

Rayleigh grinned, gripping his sword, his Haki flaring.

"This old man thinks so too."

Issho unsheathed his staff sword, his voice deep and resolute.

"!!!"
