One Piece: My Name is Jack, I'm Very Resistant to Beating

Jack carefully studied the system's interface. Currently, there were only two options: Character Card and Skills. However, the large "R" at the corner caught his attention.

Curious, Jack tapped on the Character Card, and several lines of data appeared.

Constitution: Represents the host's endurance and recovery ability.

Moving on to the Skills tab, Jack saw the following:

Jack spent some time studying the two Devil Fruit slots. Stroking his chin, he pondered.

"Everyone knows you can only eat one Devil Fruit... but the system shows two slots. Does this mean I can eat two Devil Fruits?"

His mind raced.

"Could it be because of my soul's unique nature? The system might recognize that, although I've taken over this body, the original owner never ate a Devil Fruit. That could explain the extra slot!"

But what about that "R"?

Staring at the bold "R" on the screen, Jack finally had an epiphany.

"Oh! It's a rating!"

Grinning, Jack spoke aloud, "Hey, System Boss? You there? Show yourself!"

…No response.

"System Father? System Ancestor?"

Still nothing.

"System Grandson!"

Three bright yellow exclamation marks flashed on the screen. Jack's expression darkened.

"You cheeky... I call you a senior, and you ignore me. But call you a junior, and you jump out immediately?"

When he clicked on the marks, a new line of text appeared:

"This system exists to cultivate the host into the ultimate "Dock King." Before every battle, you must shout, 'Bring the ship closer!' Rewards are distributed based on performance and enemy strength. Even in defeat, consolation prizes are possible, with a slim chance of rare rewards."

System Note:

Rewards only activate if the host initiates combat after shouting the battle cry onboard a ship.

Reward levels: Inferior, Common, Rare, Perfect, Radiant.

Attribute tiers correspond to multiples of 20: NR (Normal), R (Rare), SR (Super Rare), SSR (Super Super Rare), UR (Ultra Rare).

Max attribute score: 120.

Skills progress through five tiers: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and two higher levels with unique titles.

Increasing three attributes to their max unlocks higher character card ratings.

Suddenly, a giant middle finger appeared on the screen, startling Jack.

"What kind of system shows such vulgarity to an eight-year-old kid? Do you have no shame?"

Despite Jack's grumbles, his SR-level Constitution was well-deserved. By the time he returned to Onigashima, his injuries had healed completely, saving him from bedridden misery.

"King-sama, Jack-sama," a subordinate greeted as soon as they disembarked. "Kaido-sama has returned to Onigashima."

King turned to Jack. "Follow me. We need to report to Kaido."

"Understood," Jack mumbled reluctantly. He wasn't thrilled.

Jack's recent injury had convinced King that taking him into battle was too dangerous. Despite Jack's protests, King refused to budge, forcing them to return to Onigashima early. Jack could only sigh inwardly.

If you won't let me fight, how am I supposed to dock the ship? Big bro, please!

Hoping to change King's mind after meeting Kaido, Jack sprinted ahead toward Kaido's chambers. Upon entering, he found the room empty. Puzzled, he suddenly heard a loud crash upstairs.

"BANG!"

"You brat! Are you trying to piss me off?" Kaido's enraged voice echoed through the building.

"Yamato! You're my child—stop this nonsense!"

"Oden is dead!"

"I am NOT Yamato! From now on, I am Kozuki Oden!"

"Oden's spirit will never die!"

"Stop this foolishness! I am your father!"

"You'll have to kill me first! If I survive, then I am Oden!"

The fierce back-and-forth between Kaido and his rebellious daughter made Jack's head throb.

Yamato—Kaido's daughter—was a die-hard fan of the late Kozuki Oden. Her obsession with Oden bordered on absurdity.

What's so great about that guy anyway? Jack thought. Oden's "samurai spirit" seemed more like idiocy, handing over his country and making questionable decisions left and right. Thinking about it too much felt like it might lower Jack's own IQ.

King, standing beside Jack, knocked on the door. "Master Kaido, Jack and I have returned."

"Oh, King? Wait a moment!" Kaido bellowed.

Jack listened as Kaido's conversation with Yamato ended with:

"You're staying on Onigashima! If you try to leave, the explosives will kill you. Don't blame me!"

Moments later, Kaido stormed out of the room, slapping King on the shoulder.

"Come, drink with me!"

Jack silently followed, dreading what was to come. Kaido drunk was a disaster waiting to happen.

I'm still a kid! Better sneak away while I can.

Jack's plan didn't last long. Kaido noticed and bellowed, "Jack! Where do you think you're going?"

"Join me for drinks!"

"Kaido-sama! I'm only eight! Alcohol will stunt my growth!"

THUD! Kaido scooped Jack under his arm like a sack of potatoes.

"Real men drink! I was shorter than you at eight, and I was already drinking like a pro. Build your tolerance early!"

You liar! Your tolerance is terrible! 

"Kaido-sama! I need to pee! And poop!" Jack shouted in desperation.

"Hold it in until you finish this barrel! A true warrior doesn't cave to bodily urges—this is also training!"

No mercy!

(T/N: It's important to note that Jack is a transmigrator, but he isn't aware of the plot of the One Piece universe. He was someone who never watched anime, though he had heard bits and pieces about concepts like Devil Fruits and the King of the Pirates.)
