Byakuya spoke calmly, "The abolition of the Seven Warlords system is already inevitable. Whether you resign or not, the outcome will be the same."

"Placing your hopes for peaceful coexistence between Fish-Man Island and humanity in the hands of the World Government is undoubtedly the most foolish idea."

Neptune and Jinbe froze upon hearing these words. 

It wasn't unusual to hear such a statement from anyone else, but coming from Byakuya, who was about to be promoted to Marine Admiral, it was exceptionally jarring. 

The implications behind those words ran deep. At best, it sounded like Byakuya disagreed with Jinbe's ideals. 

At worst, it could be interpreted as outright dissatisfaction with the World Government.

If this word reached the higher-ups, Byakuya's promotion to Admiral might be revoked before it was finalized. 

Aware of the gravity of the situation, Neptune quickly ordered everyone nearby to leave and cautiously asked, "Vice Admiral Byakuya, why would you say such a thing?"

Byakuya countered with a question, "If Fish-Men and humans were to live in harmony, then tell me—where in the vast ocean do the most Fish-Men and merfolk reside?"

Without hesitation, both Neptune and Jinbe replied, "Sabaody Archipelago!" 

The answer was obvious. 

After all, Fish-Man Island was situated 10,000 meters directly below the Sabaody Archipelago, and most Fish-Men and Merfolk preferred not to stray too far from their homeland. 

Given a choice, they would naturally gather at Sabaody.

Byakuya sneered. "Yet, even at Sabaody, humans haven't achieved harmony among themselves." 

"How could you expect harmony between humans and Fish-Men?"

Every time the Celestial Dragons visited Sabaody, countless civilians either lost their lives or were enslaved. This was just the plight of ordinary humans. 

At the same time, the Celestial Dragons spent exorbitant amounts of money at auctions to buy Fish-Men and merfolk as personal slaves. 

If the Celestial Dragons were to discover many strong Fish-Men and beautiful merfolk at Sabaody—completely free of charge—it wouldn't take three days for the entire Fish-Man Island to be annihilated.

While Byakuya didn't state these facts outright, Jinbe and Neptune understood that he was referring to the Celestial Dragons. 

The World Government, the most potent organization among humans, existed primarily to serve the Celestial Dragons. 

As long as the Celestial Dragons coveted Fish-Men and Merfolk, there was no chance for Fish-Man Island to coexist peacefully with humans.

Neptune and Jinbe weren't unaware of this harsh reality—they didn't want to admit it. 

They would first have to confront the Celestial Dragons to change this situation—a feat they knew was impossible.

Tentatively, Neptune asked, "Vice Admiral Byakuya, what are you suggesting, then?"

"Change will come to every era eventually," Byakuya replied. 

"The question is whether you're willing to be the ones to push for that change and accelerate its arrival."

Jinbe asked, "What about the abolition of the Seven Warlords system?"

Byakuya answered calmly, "That's just the first step."

Both Neptune and Jinbe gasped audibly. 

They hadn't expected Byakuya, someone about to ascend to the rank of Marine Admiral, to harbor such terrifying ambitions. 

He wasn't just seeking reform; he aimed to overturn an entire era.

After contemplating, Jinbe declared: "If that's the case, I'll resign!"

Byakuya had laid his cards on the table. Neptune and Jinbe couldn't feign ignorance any longer. 

Rather than placing their hopes in the impossible goodwill of the World Government, they chose to gamble everything on Byakuya. 

That was their genuine belief.

Byakuya stayed on Fish-Man Island for only one night. Early the next morning, he set off again. 

Neptune and Jinbe came to see him off, watching the Eternal Daylight disappear into the distance.

Feeling uneasy, Neptune asked Jinbe, "Do you think Byakuya can truly bring about this era of change?"

Recalling the previous night's conversation, Neptune couldn't shake a sense of foreboding.

Jinbe answered without hesitation, "There's no one across the entire sea more suited for the task than Byakuya."

"Besides," Jinbe added, "Fish-Man Island is already in a precarious position. If we don't act now, it won't be long before we face extinction."

Neptune sighed deeply but said nothing more. 

He understood that silently awaiting annihilation was far worse than taking bold action while they still had the strength to fight. 

Even if they failed, it was better than living with regret for doing nothing.

Meanwhile, Byakuya was quite pleased with the outcome of the conversation from the previous night. 

Congratulations, Host, on successfully altering the plot. 

Major events such as 'Jinbe joins the Straw Hat Pirates' and 'Jinbe announces his resignation from the Seven Warlords' have been changed. World Energy Reward: 15,000 points.

In truth, Byakuya had only made his remarks after interacting with Neptune and Jinbe and witnessing Jinbe's willingness to sacrifice himself to repay a favor.

What seemed noble in the original story wasn't necessarily so in reality. Only by direct interaction could Byakuya make the best judgment.

After last night's discussion, Byakuya's words had deeply resonated with both Jinbe and Neptune. 

As a result, Jinbe would no longer join the Straw Hat Pirates. 

This unexpected turn of events marked yet another critical change to the story—a welcome surprise for Byakuya.

On his journey back to the East Blue, Byakuya's objectives were clear: to push every remaining Warlord of the Sea into resigning and render the Seven Warlords system completely obsolete. 

Achieving this would earn him a significant amount of World Energy points.

With Crocodile already dead, Doflamingo imprisoned in Impel Down, and Mihawk and Jinbe agreeing to withdraw privately, only three Warlords remained: 

The "Pirate Empress" Boa Hancock, "Gecko" Moria, and "Tyrant" Bartholomew Kuma. Since Kuma was part of the Revolutionary Army, Byakuya figured a word to Dragon would take care of that matter.

As for the other two, Byakuya decided not to approach them as a Marine but as "Night," his alternate persona. 

Whether or not they cooperated would determine their fate. If they refused, their only outcome would be death. 

Since Byakuya had arranged Mihawk's and Jinbe's resignations privately, there was no risk of others associating his actions as "Night" with his identity as Byakuya.

After briefly stopping at Sabaody Archipelago to meet Smoker and Rayleigh, Byakuya set his sights on Boa Hancock. 

Renowned as the "world's most beautiful woman," she became his first target.

As night fell, Byakuya donned his black crescent-moon robe and pitch-black mask. Departing from the ship, he melded into the darkness. 

Five figures similarly clad in black crescent-moon robes in the distant sky awaited him. 

These five were Tatsumaki, Sonic, Enel, Lucci, and Law, who had followed Byakuya from the New World.

Among them, only Enel and Tornado could fly for extended periods. 

Since Enel couldn't assist the others in this regard, Tatsumaki used her psychokinesis to keep Lucci, Law, and Sonic aloft. 

Hands on her hips and exuding a commanding aura, Tatsumaki mocked the three, "Three grown men, and none of you can fly? How pathetic!"

Faced with her taunts, Lucci, Law, and even Sonic, the strongest among them, could only hang their heads in silence. 

They dared not retort—especially since they had once doubted Tatsumaki's strength, claiming it was far inferior to Byakuya's. 

Tatsumaki hadn't forgotten that slight; she had made their lives miserable since then.

Byakuya arrived just in time to witness this scene. He teased Tatsumaki, "I never imagined you had such a commanding presence, Tatsumaki."

At the sight of Byakuya, Tatsumaki huffed and turned her head away, pretending not to notice him. 

The memory of Byakuya humiliating her in a "spinning drum dance" manner during a past altercation was still too embarrassing for her to face directly. 

Just recalling it made her cheeks flush, and her body reacted strangely; feelings only intensified in his presence.

Byakuya chuckled at her flustered demeanor, thinking, 'Such a classic tsundere—denying with words, but honest in action.'

However, he didn't dwell on it and instead issued orders to the group.

"This time, we'll split into two teams. Tatsumaki and I will head to Amazon Lily, the Pirate Nation, to deal with Boa Hancock, the 'Pirate Empress.'"

"The rest of you will go to the Florian Triangle to locate and eliminate 'Gecko' Moria."

Byakuya's strategy made sense. The Florian Triangle was vast, shrouded in thick mist, and finding Moria's location would be extremely challenging. 

However, with Enel's Observation, Haki combined his Rumble-Rumble Fruit powers, and they could conduct a wide-area search and locate Moria in the shortest time possible.

"Understood," Enel replied with a nod.

Since the other three couldn't fly, their team would need to commandeer a random pirate ship to reach their destination. 

Meanwhile, Byakuya and Tornado set off together, flying toward Amazon Lily.
