One Piece: Overlord Buggy

With the island of Batarilla in sight, I decided to check it out myself, of course, using Observation. While the island was very much in sight, it was still a bit of a blob on the horizon, so using Haki, I could tell that there were some things I needed to watch out for.

Mainly, the several Marine ships just docked at the docks of the island. There was also the fact that there were Marines kind of wandering the entire island.

'Crap. I forgot about this. Why did I forget about the entire world looking for a potential child of the Pirate King? It's like.. the whole reason I'm wanting to do this, making sure that Rouge stays alive, it's really hard to do that when people are watching the entire time. How am I supposed to do this?'

I was trying to figure stuff out, and then said "Rosa, let's go around the ba-"

'Wait, why do we need to go around the back of the island? The only person I remember that would know who I really was was Garp, and he's not gonna get here for a while, I don't think at least. Oh yay.. watching out for a guy who could absolutely decimate me in a fight, if he decides to. No! I want to change a few parts of fate! Hopefully with minimal damage to the full story, but I WILL make sure Rouge stays alive! Alice can help with that, and so can Mari!'

I remembered the conversation I had with the two a while back.

One Week Prior...

"Mari, Alice, I need to talk with you about something."

Alice, Taki, Mariga and I were in the room we collectively shared, and relaxing a little, since there was little to do.

"Yes, Buggy?"

"Whatcha want.. father?"

"I have thought on this for a while, but I have a mission for both of you to go on."

They listened intently, and Taki's ears perked up a little.

"Does it involve Vipeba? You seemed to need him for something reeeaaaally important." Asked Alice.

"Yes. It does involve Vipeba, but only a little. In a while, or whenever we arrive on Batarilla, Vipeba is going to help with one of my aquaintances and their unborn kid. But after that is where I need you to come in. I need you, Alice.."

I turned to Alice, who was listening attentively, and her body stiffened a little.

"I need you to some very important things for me. More specifically, I need you to stay with the woman we're about to help, and help her with her child. While it may sound just like what you've been doing, helping with Mari and all, it's slightly different. It may be a little more stress on you, but this is going to be very important later. I need you to to take care of them, and something else. It may sound like a lot of responsibility, but I need you to..."

Listening to what I said, Alice was shocked a little, but at the end, hesitantly nodded in understanding.

With as serious a face she could muster, Alice said "I can try to do what you just asked of me! It may be hard to do, but count on me!"

I nodded back in understanding, then turned to Mariga.

"Now, Mari, I need you to stay with Alice here on her mission."

Mari became incredibly worried. "But father-"

Putting a hand up as if saying stop, I spoke "No, let me finish. It may be for a while that you don't see me, but I promise that we will see each other again, after we depart. I don't know if I'll be done by the time of some pretty big events, so you two might be the ones to find me rather than me finding you. But Mari, what I need you to do is..."

Both Alice and Mariga were listening intently, Alice mostly to remember the reasons for leaving Mariga with her, and Mariga because it pertained to her.

Finishing what I was saying, I turned to face both of them, rather than just one.

"Now, I am entrusting you two with these missions that are highly important. Please don't take them lightly, as the future of the world may depend on it."

Back to the present...

'I really hope they can fulfill these things I want done. The world may end up crazier than before with these little things done. I hope that I can just find Rouge and do this.'

"Um.. Buggy? What is that you were saying? You stopped in the middle of the sentence."

"Nothing, nevermind, just go to the dock like normal, I'm a bit off today."

'I really hope Garp, or anyone who knows my identity, isn't on this island. I don't remember how chaotic it was or could have been, but I'll have to be sneaky, nonetheless.'

We got closer to the island, and passed by some Marine ships, which made me subconsciously sweat with complete and utter nervousness.

We passed my without issue to the dock of the island, and near the town. I didn't actually remember what the place looked like, but now that we had docked, I was able to tell that the island was beautiful, considering the island was mostly covered in forest.

We were docked in the bay when a Marine came up to our ship and said "Halt! What business do you have here?"

I was frozen.

'Is he asking me? Why did he have to ask me!? Seriously, the first person you ask is me!? What do I say? Why am I doing this in my head anyways? I thought this world was changing me, but it seems NOT! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO FREAKING SAY?'

I heard Rosalina from the dock say "We are bounty hunters, and we have traveled for a little bit, hoping to take a vacation here. Is there an issue with that?"

'Thank DIRECTOR that Rosa can do that! I can't always rely on her, so I'll have to add that to my neverending list of things to do!'

"No, there is no issue, but how can I trust you are bounty hunters? From what it looks like, there are four kids of different ages and you, who looks like the caretaker for all of them."

'WHY CAN'T THE MARINES JUST BE STUPID FOR ONCE? I THOUGHT THESE GUYS OUT IN THE BLUES WERE SUPPOSED TO BE NOT AS SMART OR JUST AS GOOD IN GENERAL AS ONES FROM THE GRNAD LINE!'

"Well, they may not look it, but I have helped all of them out of slavery by pirates. This one.." she stood next to me. "..has wanted some revenge on pirates because they killed his family, and had been helping me ever since being saved. The other three.." Rosalina motioned her arm, pointing towards Alice, Mariga and Taki. ".. were going to be sold, but thanks to my interference with some help from this guy, we had saved them. Sadly, all of their parents have died, so they are being trained to help us."

'OHMYGOSH! I WOULD'VE NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT! SOMETIMES YOUR MYSTERY HELPS, ROSALINA!'

The Marine shifted his hat, and looked at all of us, stopping and pointing at Taki.

"So, why's she got a cloak on?"

'AND NOW YOU'RE BEING SUPER OBSERVANT! WHAT IS UP WITH THIS ONE, SINGLE MARINE?'

Rosalina laughed dryly, as if not really laughing. "Well, she's a special case. During her captivity, she got.. many scars all over her body. Now, that wouldn't really warrant a cloak, but before all of those scars, she has had and still has a condition that causes her skin to swell when in direct contact with the sun. So, when out and about, it acts as a way to hide the scars she so despises, along with helping medically."

And then Vipeba appeared.

"I'm ready to go when you guys are."

'Crap! I forgot about Vipeba!'

"And who is that?"

Rosalina seemed to have forgotten him for a second too. "Oh yeah, I forgot about him. He's a doctor that we met a while ago, who's been helping with her.. condition."

"Hmm? Who's condition?" Vipeba asked, not in on what we were talking about.

'I AM SO FREAKING DUMB! WHAT DO I DO? HOW DO I FIX THIS? THERES LIKE NO WAY THAT I CAN COME UP WITH EVERYTHING RIGHT ON THE SPOT!'

"This is exactly why we forget about you a lot."

'OH THANK THE FREAKING HEAVENS THAT ROSALINA CAME UP WITH SOMETHING!'

I turned as little as I could, trying to convey to Vipeba to shut up. He barely saw me trying to tell him to shut up before we would have been caught.

Slightly questioning everything, the Marine shook his head and then spoke "Well, if that's what you do and why you're here, try to not get in the way of my fellow Marines here, we are conducting something very important, so please do not interfere. Also, have a nice stay."

And he walked away.
