Chapter 18: Chapter 18 : The Disappearing Pirate Ship, The Ability To Transfer Fruits
"Okay! It's a deal!"
"We've won, Wilhelm!"
The three sisters were straightforward and confident.
Without hesitation or doubt, they looked at each other and responded confidently.
"Alright, Wilhelm, you're not allowed to use the ability to transfer fruits..."
Smoothie, watching Wilhelm with confidence, added firmly: "If you use it, you'll be disqualified!"
After all, the enemy was a Vice Admiral from the Naval Headquarters, backed by a fleet of Marine elites.
Though Smoothie trusted Wilhelm's strength, she didn't want her beloved brother to get hurt.
So far, they hadn't seen Wilhelm suffer a scratch.
"Little ones, did you hear that?"
Snamon, full of energy, raised her long sword and shouted to their subordinates: "Don't hold back!"
Compared to Smoothie and Snamon, Stron, slightly heavier, echoed with equal confidence: "If we lose like this, it'll be embarrassing!"
"Oh..."
"Don't worry, Lord Snamon!"
"I won't let you down!"
"We are the elite from Juice Island!"
"Master Wilhelm, I'm your loyal fan, but sorry!"
The pirates and Homie soldiers were full of morale, raising their weapons and shouting with excitement.
From their perspective, even though Master Wilhelm was powerful, not many had seen him fight firsthand.
Facing the Navy Headquarters' Vice Admiral and a fleet of Marine elites without using his Devil Fruit ability would be a tough task.
However, with the three strong sisters by his side, and only two smaller support ships compared to the main battleship, they believed they could secure a victory.
Clang clang!
"Hey, full of energy!"
As the crew and Homie soldiers surged with confidence, Smoothie, tall and graceful, drew her long sword and smiled at Wilhelm. "Are you ready?"
"Let's get started," Wilhelm said simply, without further words.
He looked out at the three warships, spread over a few nautical miles. A faint blue glow flickered in his golden eyes, and then—
"Target transfer!"
Whoosh!
Boom… boom…
Clatter… crash…
In an instant.
The entire pirate ship disappeared into thin air.
A large number of shells struck the sea below, causing waves to churn and crash.
Miles away, the Marines watching the battle couldn't help but widen their eyes.
Alongside Onigumo, the hawk-like Vice Admiral of Navy Headquarters, the Marines were still trying to process what had just happened.
In an instant, a massive pirate ship materialized right in the center of the Marine fleet, wedged perfectly between the three warships in a "pin"-shaped formation, directly behind the leading large Marine warship.
The escort ship closest to the left was almost right next to the pirate ship.
So close—it was almost terrifying.
"WHAT!?"
"How is that possible?"
"Oh my God, is this real?"
"Gulp! The BIG-MOM pirate ship just broke into the middle of our fleet!"
"It was still several nautical miles away, but now—it's here!"
On the three warships, well-trained Marines couldn't believe what they were seeing.
Their eyes widened in shock, mouths agape as they stared at the sudden appearance of the pirate ship right in their midst.
Some were stunned.
"Tsk tsk, there it is!"
"That must be Master Wilhelm's ability!"
"To transport an entire ship across several nautical miles in an instant… it's unbelievable!"
"Breaking into Marine's fleet like that!"
"Truly, a trembling noble son—what a supernova from the Charlotte family!"
"So powerful!"
On the pirate ship, the crew was momentarily stunned, but quickly regained their composure.
Excited murmurs and admiration spread among them as they watched Wilhelm with awe and respect.
"Tsk tsk, such a crazy ability, no matter how many times I see it, it's still amazing!" The three Smoothie sisters, who had been prepared for this moment, smiled confidently, their fighting spirit burning brightly.
"Little ones! Let's go!"
Smoothie, leading the charge, raised her long sword high.
With the agility of the long-legged family, she jumped forward, covering immense distance with ease.
She stormed the left Marine frigate that had nearly connected with their ship.
"Destroy these Marines!"
"Ooh-"
"Kill Marine—"
"Come on! Follow Mrs. Smoothie and destroy Marine!"
"Jiehaha, we're sure to win!"
"Bang... bang..."
"Ah, ah..."
The pirates and Homiz soldiers surged forward, full of energy and murderous intent.
They followed Smoothie as she rushed ahead, leading the charge toward the Marine frigate in front of them.
With sharpened swords, they clashed with the Marines who were caught off guard and fell one after another.
"Wilhelm, don't admit defeat!" Snamon shouted as she signaled to Finley. "Finley, I'll need your help to send me and Sister Stron over!"
As a Paramecia user with the ability of the Squeeze Fruit (Shibo Shibo no Mi), Snamon felt confident in her strength.
She believed that with herself and Stron, they could easily handle the Marines on the other frigate.
And let's not forget, Finley's combat power was no joke either.
"Crazy!"
The snow-white mastiff roared.
Transforming into a majestic, snow-white eagle, Finley spread his wings wide.
Though Snamon and Stron were only sixteen years old, their long legs gave them an impressive height of over three meters.
Without hesitation, they jumped onto Finley's back.
"Woooooooooosh!" The powerful wings flapped, creating violent gusts of wind as they soared toward the other Marine frigate.
"It's my turn now—no room for mistakes!" Wilhelm chuckled confidently.
Like a bolt of silver-white lightning, he surged forward, moving at incredible speed.
With his strong jumping ability, he covered the distance of hundreds of meters in an instant.
"WHAT!?"
The leader of the Marine battleship, Vice Admiral Onigumo, reacted sharply as Wilhelm shot towards the vessel.
His eyes widened in disbelief, seeing pirates already engaging on the left frigate and the battle beginning.
His voice rang out sharply: "Damn it! Is it Devil Fruit ability?"
"Everyone, stay alert! Prepare to meet the enemy!"
"Fire! Sink their pirate ship!"
Despite the panic among some Marines, their elite training kicked in. With Vice Admiral Onigumo in command, they quickly regained composure.
"Ah! That's..."
Before the guns could be turned on Wilhelm's battleship, many Marines froze, their eyes wide.
They couldn't believe what they were seeing—the figure of silver-white lightning gliding across the sea, spanning hundreds of meters in a blink of an eye.
Speechless.
