Big Mom's Territory – Totto Land

Toast Island, also known as Baked Dim Sum Island, is one of the many islands within Big Mom's territory. This island is ruled by Charlotte Oven, the fourth son of Big Mom and one of her 34 Ministers.

Oven possesses the Heat-Heat Fruit, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants him the ability to generate and control intense heat. His powers are far superior to those of the Heat-Heat Fruit user Donquixote Rosinante in legend.

Unlike Rosinante, Oven can not only produce extreme temperatures but also instantly heat objects or even entire areas, including boiling large sections of the sea to cook marine life.

If fully mastered and awakened, Oven's powers could potentially counter Admiral Aokiji's Ice-Ice Fruit. The clash between a frozen sea and a boiling one would be a battle of opposing extremes. It's this immense potential that makes the Heat-Heat Fruit a top-tier Devil Fruit.

On Toast Island, Oven sat in his palace, troubled. He leaned back in his chair, frowning deeply.

"Why do I feel so uneasy? Something isn't right," he muttered.

For the past week, Oven had been plagued by a growing sense of foreboding. It felt as though something terrible was looming. He stood up, pacing the room as his unease intensified.

After a moment, he clenched his right fist and struck it against his left palm. "I need to clear my head. Maybe I'll visit Katakuri and the others for a drink. It's been a while."

As he stepped outside, the uneasy feeling in his chest grew stronger. His brow furrowed further with every step.

"Is someone planning to attack us? No… it can't be. Whitebeard, Shanks, Kaido—none of them are making a move," he murmured grimly.

However, as soon as he resolved to visit his older brother Katakuri, the unease shifted into something worse—a dire sense of danger, as if his life was in immediate peril.

"Is Katakuri in trouble?" Oven's eyes widened in alarm. "No, something must've happened to him!"

Certain of his hunch, Oven quickly ordered a ship to be prepared. The further he traveled from Toast Island, the more intense the feeling of danger became, pushing him to urge his crew to move faster.

Katakuri was one of his triplet brothers, and all of them shared a deep loyalty to their family. Oven's protective nature now drove him into a panic.

"Could Katakuri have angered Mama?" he wondered aloud. Yet, he dismissed the thought. Despite her unpredictable nature, Big Mom valued Katakuri highly.

Elsewhere…

Far above in the sky, Arthur floated within the clouds, watching. At this altitude, he was almost impossible to spot without a powerful telescope, especially as he remained hidden most of the time.

Arthur's evolved senses allowed him to see with eagle-like clarity for miles. However, because of Big Mom's powerful subordinates, he avoided using Observation Haki or emitting electromagnetic fields, knowing they could sense him if he did.

Suddenly, Arthur's sharp eyes caught movement. A powerful presence had emerged from Toast Island.

"Finally," Arthur murmured, a faint crackle of electricity sounding as he vanished into the sky.

Meanwhile, on the ship, Oven instinctively looked upward toward where Arthur had been moments ago. All he saw was a drifting cloud.

"Am I imagining things?" he muttered, shaking his head.

Arthur, now high above Oven's ship, paused. He refrained from acting immediately, ensuring the vessel had moved far enough from the island to avoid detection. He also needed to confirm whether the strong presence he sensed was indeed Charlotte Oven.

After confirming from above that the person below was indeed Charlotte Oven, Arthur's lips curled into a smile. "Heat-Heat Fruit... finally, you're mine!"

On the ship, Oven stood on deck, frowning as he gazed out at the distant sea.

"Huh?" he muttered, noticing the sudden look of fear on his crew's faces. They weren't staring at him but at something behind him.

"What's wrong?" he asked, but before the words fully left his mouth, his expression shifted. His instincts screamed danger as he spun around to defend himself.

Bang!

Arthur's fist, coated with Haki, struck Oven squarely. A smile played on Arthur's face as he retracted his hand.

"Ugh..." Oven groaned, his eyes rolling back. He collapsed, frustration etched on his face even as he lost consciousness.

For someone of Oven's level—below an Emperor's right-hand man—it wasn't difficult for Arthur to knock him out with a single blow. Arthur had concealed himself carefully and struck with precision, ensuring no one noticed him before the attack.

It was akin to how Big Mom herself could easily incapacitate one of Kaido's All-Stars. Against a top-tier fighter's ambush, someone like Oven stood no chance.

"King Arthur!" one of the crew members yelled in panic.

"Quick! Send a signal! King Arthur is attacking us!"

The crew scrambled in chaos, but Arthur gave them no opportunity.

Hum...

A wave of Conqueror's Haki swept across the ship, instantly knocking most of the crew unconscious. Only a handful of stronger individuals remained standing, but they didn't last long.

Arthur moved like a blur, incapacitating them one by one. Some collapsed bleeding, while others fainted with their eyes rolling back.

When the skirmish ended, the only ones left alive were Oven and a few crew members who had eaten Devil Fruits. Even though their abilities weren't extraordinary, Arthur wasn't about to waste any Devil Fruit users.

He shackled the captured Devil Fruit users with seastone cuffs, ensuring they couldn't escape, and secured additional restraints for safety. Then, using his electromagnetic abilities, Arthur wrapped the entire ship in a field of energy and sank it into the sea.

Thanks to his mastery of the electromagnetic field and gravitational forces—abilities he had developed over a decade of training with his Devil Fruit—Arthur could safely operate in the water despite being a Devil Fruit user himself.

Half an hour later, Oven stirred and regained consciousness. His head throbbed, and the grim reality of his situation hit him. He was restrained and powerless, while his ship floated aimlessly under the control of his attacker.

Oven looked toward the bow, where Arthur sat calmly. His face darkened as he realized the true extent of the danger.

"Why are you doing this? Do you plan to declare war on the Big Mom Pirates?" Oven growled. "Attacking me like this is a direct insult to Mama!"

Arthur glanced at him but didn't immediately respond.

Oven gritted his teeth, trying to make sense of the situation. The ominous feeling he'd had for days, the overwhelming sense of crisis—it all made sense now.

He couldn't believe it. A man as powerful as Arthur, an Emperor rivaling Big Mom, had been watching him for days, waiting for the right moment to strike.

"What's your goal?" Oven demanded again, his voice rising.

This time, Arthur replied, his tone calm yet chilling. "I have no desire to become an enemy of the Big Mom Pirates—at least, not yet. That's why I used a sneak attack. It's the safest way, don't you think?"

"As for my goal..." Arthur paused, turning to look Oven directly in the eye. His gaze sent a shiver down Oven's spine. "I'm here for your ability."

Oven blinked in confusion. "My ability? What do you mean? Are you saying you want to steal my Devil Fruit power?"

Arthur's smile widened. "Exactly. You're smarter than you look."

"You…" Oven's eyes widened in disbelief, his voice trembling.

He wanted to say, "How is this possible?" but Arthur cut him off before he could finish.

"Impossible! A Devil Fruit only reappears somewhere in the world after the user dies. It might take decades before someone finds it—and that's if it doesn't end up in some uninhabited or unreachable place!"

"You're right," Arthur said calmly, "but I have my own method." He spoke as though he was indulging a man on the verge of death, his tone casual.

A day later, Arthur killed everyone on the ship who didn't possess Devil Fruit abilities, offering their bodies as food to a nearby Sea King.

Those with Devil Fruit powers were bound in chains, locked securely with seastone shackles. Hovering behind him through the air, Arthur carried the prisoners as he flew toward Rusukaina Island.

Three days later, inside a hidden chamber designed specifically to extract Devil Fruit abilities, Oven and three other Devil Fruit users were restrained tightly in chairs.

By now, Oven knew his fate was sealed. He had no hope of escape. Arthur's methods were too precise, too thorough. There was almost no chance that his mother, Big Mom, or anyone else would find him. His disappearance would simply be treated as a mysterious vanishing.

Accepting his impending death, Oven stopped struggling. His eyes were filled with despair.

Even if he somehow broke free from the seastone chains, there was no way he could defeat this man, whose strength rivaled his mother's.

"Let's begin," Arthur said, nodding toward his assistant, Niji. With a single strike, one of the pirates was knocked unconscious.

"Black Hole Extraction."

A few minutes later, a Devil Fruit appeared in the small column of black smoke rising from the chamber.

Oven's eyes widened in utter disbelief. "How… how is this possible?" he stammered.

He recognized the fruit. He had personally witnessed one of his subordinates eat it in the past, yet here it was, restored and whole again.

Now, Oven finally understood Arthur's cryptic words about being interested in his ability—and about having a way to acquire it.

"What… what are you planning? If you can do something like this, do you plan to overthrow the world?" Oven muttered in shock, his face pale and trembling.

Arthur replied with a calm indifference. "You don't need to know."

Bang!

The sound of the strike was louder this time as Arthur ended Oven's life. The Heat-Heat Fruit appeared shortly after, different in appearance from the Devil Fruit taken moments before.

Arthur's smile widened as he picked up the vibrant red fruit. His collection was growing, and his plan was moving forward at an unprecedented pace.

One day, when the world realized that his subordinates were all equipped with powerful Devil Fruit abilities, the fear and chaos would be unimaginable. Even Kaido's Devil Fruit army—a crew of Zoan users with incomplete and unstable powers—would pale in comparison.

But Arthur knew he had to tread carefully. Unlike Kaido, he couldn't afford to make reckless moves.

"Send this to the New World. Deliver it to Raphael," Arthur ordered.

"Yes, God," replied a war angel, who took the fruit, now secured in a wooden box, spread its wings, and flew away.

New World – Totto Land

A full day after Oven's disappearance, the Big Mom Pirates finally realized something was wrong. At first, they assumed he had gone to meet Katakuri. However, when days passed without a trace, panic set in.

Despite an extensive search, Oven remained missing. Eventually, his disappearance was blamed on the Whitebeard Pirates, escalating tensions between the two powerful crews.

Losing a minister—especially one as strong as Oven—was not something the Big Mom Pirates could overlook. Friction between the two crews intensified, fueling rumors of an impending war.

Meanwhile, on Rusukaina Island

Far away in the Calm Belt, Arthur read the news of the incident with a quiet laugh. The report claimed Oven's death had sparked conflict, yet no one had any idea who the real culprit was.

As Arthur's laughter faded, the ground beneath him trembled.

Boom!

A violent roar echoed as the fifth rocky mountain in front of him crumbled under his relentless power.
