One Piece: Take the Uchiha Clan to the Grand Line

Chapter 139: Kitaro's Blood

-----

"Cheers—!!"

Everyone raised their glasses, downing the contents in one go.

Kitaro was a bit confused. All he wanted was to invite them for a simple drink. Did they really need to give such long speeches? Back when he drank with others, they wouldn't even utter a word.

As the crowd drank, a warmth began spreading through their bodies.

"What's happening?"

"Relax," Kitaro said calmly. "It's not poison. If I wanted you dead, I wouldn't bother with poison. You're all too weak, so I decided to help improve your physiques a little."

Moments later, everyone began to notice significant changes in their bodies. A surge of immense power coursed through them.

More astonishingly, those injured in previous battles started healing at an impossible rate. Wounds that would normally take months to recover were closing within moments.

"My… my hand…"

A man who had lost an arm in battle watched in shock as his severed limb regrew before his very eyes.

The entire crowd was stunned, frozen in disbelief.

Before long, the man's arm was completely restored. Clenching his fist, he cried out, "It's real! My arm is back!"

"This can't be true!"

"It's a miracle!"

People rushed forward, touching the regrown limb. It was as though it had never been severed.

"Boss, this…"

Kitaro looked at them with mild amusement. "You were too weak, and many of you looked half-dead. That was tarnishing the image of the Uchiha Security Company. I just wanted to fix you up a bit. Who knew you'd treat it like some kind of sacred ritual?"

Marco stepped forward, his expression grave. "No, Boss! From the moment we drank it, this became a sacred oath. From now on, we will follow you without question!"

"Follow without question!!"

The Whitebeard Pirates all shouted in unison.

"Good," Kitaro replied, nodding.

"Boss, what was in that drink?" someone asked cautiously.

"It was my blood," Kitaro admitted with a faint smile. "It's not without cost; it drains me significantly. But now, unless you're obliterated or burned to ash, dying will be extremely difficult."

"It made you something higher than just human."

"What?!"

The crowd stared at him in disbelief.

"If Whitebeard and Ace had drunk this…" someone murmured.

The unspoken implication hung in the air: if Whitebeard and Ace had been given this power, they might still be alive today.

Seeing their thoughts, Kitaro chuckled. "If Whitebeard and Ace were still alive, what would your loyalty to me mean? Would you still kneel before me?"

The question struck them like a thunderclap. If Whitebeard and Ace had survived, would they have followed Kitaro at all?

Marco lowered his head. "We're sorry, Boss. We were too greedy."

Kitaro waved it off. "It's only human nature. But let this be the last time. Remember, you are no longer part of the Whitebeard Pirates. You are the Whitebeard Security Division of the Uchiha Security Company."

"Yes!!"

The crowd responded loudly, though a strange unease settled in their hearts. Despite their newfound power, they felt a deep, inexplicable fear of Kitaro—almost as if he were a god holding their lives in his hands.

"Marco, Jozu," Kitaro called. "Whitebeard is gone, and many pirate crews are undoubtedly eyeing his former territory. Even those who left us may have their own schemes. Take your teams and deal with any intruders. No one touches what belongs to me."

"Yes, Boss!"

Kitaro had devoured all the powers of Muzan Kibutsuji, inheriting his ability to create demons. But unlike Muzan, his creations didn't fear sunlight and lacked the compulsion to consume humans. The trade-off was a weaker regeneration ability and a significant drain on his energy with each recovery.

Even so, this ability was undeniably godlike.

Demons that didn't eat humans—could they even still be called demons?

Kitaro wasn't entirely sure himself. But his primary goal in sharing his blood was simple: securing their loyalty and controlling their lives.

Holy Land Mary Geoise

The Five Elders were in a heated discussion.

"To think it has come to this… Our plans have failed," Jaygarcia Saturn said with a frown.

Topman Warcury sighed. "Who could have predicted that this young Uchiha Kitaro would possess such power?"

Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "What's troubling is that after two months of investigation, CP agents have found no information on this so-called Uchiha clan. It's as if they appeared out of nowhere."

"That's not the most pressing issue," Marcus Mars said grimly. "The destruction of Marineford was broadcasted worldwide. Many allied nations are losing faith in the World Government. Some are even secretly negotiating with the Uchiha Security Company, hoping to pay less for better protection. This could undermine the very foundation of our authority."

Shepard Ju Peter spoke up. "Unfortunately, the Navy's five strongest fighters couldn't defeat him. And now he's inherited Whitebeard's legacy. His unpredictable movements make him an even greater threat than the Revolutionary Army."

"We can't let this continue unchecked," another elder said firmly. "His existence threatens the balance of the world."

"What should we do?"

"Stronger weapons, stronger forces, and a reason he can't ignore to fight us," Saturn concluded.

Fleet Admiral's Office

"Sengoku, are you certain about this?" Supreme Commander-in-Chief Kong asked, holding the resignation letter Sengoku had just submitted.

"Yes," Sengoku replied solemnly. "Marineford's destruction happened under my watch. As Fleet Admiral, I must take responsibility. This is the only way to restore the Navy's dignity."

"Dignity?" Kong muttered with a sigh. "What dignity does the Navy have left?"

"I'm truly sorry, I didn't take this Uchiha as the main danger at all." Sengoku said quietly.
