Chapter 63: A Moment Interrupted
(To WebNovel: kikidori and ere'ana are both 19 after multiple times skips so this is not sexual to minors so please don't ban me)
The moonlight filtered softly through the curtains of one of the private rooms aboard the Sunny. The night was calm, the sound of the waves gently rocking the ship filling the silence. Most of the crew had gone to bed after a long day of exploring the last island, and the Sunny was unusually quiet.
Robin, however, wasn't tired. She held a book under her arm, her usual calm demeanor undisturbed by the day's events. Deciding to settle in the library for a late-night reading session, she passed by one of the cabins near the hall.
But as she approached, she heard... *sounds.* Unmistakable, awkward, and slightly muffled. She paused mid-step, tilting her head curiously. Robin had been around long enough to recognize what was going on.
Her hand hovered near the doorknob, her calm curiosity taking over. Perhaps someone was hurt? She couldn't be sure. Slowly, she opened the door just a crack and peeked inside.
What she saw was... well... unexpected.
Kikidori and Ere'ana were tangled up in an *intimate* moment, their faces red, their actions clumsy yet passionate. They were too focused on each other to notice Robin at the door.
Robin blinked, completely unphased, her expression unchanged. She closed the door as quietly as she had opened it and stood there for a moment, the book still tucked under her arm.
"Well," she murmured to herself, turning on her heel. "That's none of my business."
She made her way to the library, sat down in her usual chair, and opened her book. Flipping a page, she let out a small chuckle under her breath.
"Kids these days."
Meanwhile, in the room, Kikidori and Ere'ana had no idea they had been caught. Whatever awkwardness existed between them would probably come later—if Robin ever decided to mention it, which, knowing her, she likely wouldn't.
For the rest of the night, Robin read in peace, the incident forgotten in favor of a good story.
