"Alright, alright, so you can do that too." Shanks did not feel offended. On the other hand, he was very amused by Luffy and his funny words.

"Then I will tell you everything that I know, okay." Shanks smiled and then decided to share his own experience with Luffy to help him.

Luffy nodded his head and looked at Ann and Sabo. "You two, listen carefully too. Even though you guys have not fully awakened the Haki yet but his experience will benefit you greatly."

Hearing his words, Ann and Sabo, both turned serious instantly, waiting for Shanks to speak.

Shanks looked surprised and glanced at the two children before asking Luffy. "You are... teaching them Haki?"

"Yup." Luffy nodded his head and did not hide it from Shanks. "They begged me to teach them. Being a kind person, I decided to help them. And it's not like it is something special. Once they travel in the Grandline, they will eventually learn about it."

Shanks was amazed by Luffy and laughed, rubbing his head. "You are right. Well, since that is the case, then I will not hold back. Let me teach you about Haki from the base."

Luffy was a little upset since he already knew about the basics but he did not stop the redhead captain since he was aware that Shanks wanted to help Ann, his captain's daughter.

"As all of you might know Haki is actually the manifestation of the spiritual energy for various superhuman feats. It is a power that is possessed by all living creatures but you can only awaken it with some stimulation. Even among masters of Haki, there may be a difference since Haki has grades too..."

Shanks slowly but surely shared everything he had learned about Haki. He then moved on to the three types, their uses, and other stuff.

Ann and Sabo flashed an adoring expression on their faxes with eyes lit up with stars as they listened attentively.

Because of Luffy's lack of experience, he had missed a few points in his training that were shared by Shanks.

Well, they were not the only ones to gain new insights as Luffy too filled up the gaps. Even though he could learn new skills and master them with ease but there were few things that could only be learned via experiencing it yourself.

The three young children absorbed the knowledge like empty glasses.

While Ann and Sabo got a new direction to awaken the Haki, Luffy could feel his feelings getting deeper and deeper. He could feel it in his every fiber that he was just a breath away from breaking through and reaching new heights.

"As for Ryou, it is just an alternative name for the Armamant Haki." Shanks finally moved to the young topic.

Luffy quickly recovered and focused his attention on his knowledgeable words.

"Actually it is basically an advanced version of Armamant Haki."

"There is still an advanced version?" Sabo muttered in shock, his face full of disbelief. He could not believe that Haki too had advanced versions too.

"Yep. Advanced Armament Haki. The word Ryou means 'Flowing Cherry Blossom' and it is founded on the concept of inner flow."

"What does that mean?" Ann asked curiously.

Shanks smiled and signaled them to be patient as he continued. "Only Armamant Haki does not have advanced techniques. All three types of Haki have it. The advanced techniques of Armamant are Emission and Internal Destruction."

He paused for a moment and let his words sink into their minds before he continued.

"A skilled master of Armament Haki is capable of letting the power flow out from a part of their body and emitting it over a short distance without a medium to carry it. This allows him to unleash a small invisible burst which will knock back his opponents with the force of a very powerful punch."

"Woah. So cool!" Ann and Sabo's eyes lit up in excitement when they heard that.

"What about Internal Destruction?" Only Luffy focused his attention back to the main topic and asked.

Shanks smiled and patted his head, explaining.

"A step above the technique of emitting Armament Haki is having it flow into the body of a target and destroy it from the inside out, which can be done by touching, grabbing, or even emitting Haki toward the object. This is known as Internal Destruction. This is the most advanced Armament Haki technique."

Luffy nodded his head and asked directly. "You can do it, right? Then share some of your experience on how to cultivate it. Maybe I will get some insights and breakthrough."

"Dahaha... Why are always so focused on training? You should live your life!..." Shanks laughed.

Luffy stared at him and shook his head. "You can only talk about freedom if you are strong enough. I don't want to live my entire life like my Grandpa, tied to my duty."

Shanks stopped laughing and stared deeply at Luffy. He saw no hesitation in his eyes and could not help but feel surprised. He took a deep breath and decided to give him what he was looking for.

Luffy's maturity was really scaring the redhead captain with a bounty of over a billion berries.

Shanks then opened his mouth and shared all of his experiences regarding advanced forms of Haki. But he still kept the Conqueror's Infusion since that was something only the strongest on the seas could achieve.

And he also never thought that Luffy and others could actually have Conqueror Haki now.

They might have in the future since their bloodline was special but at least they did not have it now.

After all, let alone him, who in the world could believe that a young child, not even ten would actually possess the Conqueror Haki?

Luffy closed his eyes and let Shanks's experiences sink into his body. He compared his efforts and path with Shanks as he focused deep inside himself to feel the Haki flowing through his body.

"Got it!" Luffy abruptly opened his eyes and shouted excitedly with his trademark toothy grin.

"What do you get?" Shanks asked curiously. He didn't even entertain the thought that Luffy could actually master it with so much ease.

Luffy did not reply and just jumped down before running out of the bar.

"Hey, Luffy, wait for me. I am coming with you." Uta quickly shouted and chased after him.

"What happened to him?" Shanks scratched his head in confusion. Luffy's actions were incomprehensible to him.

Ann stared at the entrance and smiled. "It seems Luffy has found what he was looking for. Now, he is going back to train."

"Oh! And how did you guys train?" Shanks and others looked at them, wanting to know the answers.

Sabo thought about it and replied. "Well, Ann and I mostly fight with wild animals. According to Luffy, the animals are simple creatures and mostly predictable so we have a higher chance of awakening our Haki. We cannot fight strong humans since humans are more cunning than animals."

"What about Luffy?" Benn Beckman asked as he raised his eyebrow.

Ann grinned and said. "He trained by punching the mountains."

"Punching the mountains?"

Her reply left the redhead captain and his crew dumbfounded as they could not imagine such training at all.
