One Piece: The Pirate Harem System!!

Chapter 2: Chapter 1: Travelling through to the world of One Piece

In the year 1498 of the Hainan calendar, in the first half of the Grand Line, in the capital of the Seven Rivers, in an alley of the town, a young man fell to the ground unconscious with his head covered in blood.

Three gangsters in colorful clothes gathered around a little girl who had fallen, kicking her with their big feet in leather shoes.

The girl struggled to crawl out from under the feet of the men, lying on the young man's body, using her thin body to protect him. Her eyes were full of determination as she tried to protect her younger brother.

Tyrouge is a young office worker on Blue Star. Every day, he drags himself to work, his health already failing in his twenties. He suffers from chronic diseases and has a stressful life with endless overtime.

He dreams of freedom, yet the burden of life constantly weighs him down.

In the evenings, he watches One Piece, escaping into a world of adventure and freedom on the sea. He has watched the entire anime more than ten times and loves everything about it—freedom, the sea, and the strange adventures.

After a tiring day, he collapsed into bed, like always, watching the latest One Piece episode.

Suddenly, lightning struck, traveling through his phone, and Tyrouge fell unconscious.

---

When he opened his eyes again, everything around him was unfamiliar. He felt suffocated by something soft against his face and tried to breathe, but his lungs burned with the effort. He pushed against the darkness in front of him and felt something strange, like a water-filled balloon, pressing against his hands. In his daze, he squeezed it tighter.

The suffocating feeling faded, and what appeared before him were a pair of snow-white hills.

Tyrouge's hands were on a girl's chest. She had yellow, curly hair and big blue eyes. Her delicate features made it hard to look away. Her t-shirt, though dirtied and yellow, revealed a bit of her snowy chest, and she wore nothing on her lower body. Her white legs were covered in dust, her bare feet exposed.

Tyrouge was confused. The girl in front of him felt familiar, but he couldn't remember where he'd seen her.

The girl's blue pupils flashed with surprise as she smiled gently. "Carola, are you okay?"

Tyrouge's confusion grew. The high-rise buildings were gone, replaced with buildings made of blue bricks. No glass windows anywhere.

Carola? Is that what she called him?

Tyrouge looked at his hand. His fingers were slender, much different from the short, chubby ones he remembered. He touched his head, and to his shock, he felt hair. He hadn't had hair for years.

Tears welled up in his eyes. He had hair again.

Kalifa gently caressed Tyrouge's face, looking worriedly at the wound on his head. Her eyes were filled with tears.

She had no parents, and her only family was her younger brother, who had nearly been killed by gangsters. Now, her last support was slipping away.

The 16-year-old Kalifa had grown into a beauty, and local gangs had set their sights on her to kidnap her.

To protect her, the original owner of Tyrouge's body fought fiercely against the gang, but with a weaker body, he was quickly overwhelmed. He was beaten until blood poured out.

Suddenly, Tyrouge felt a sharp pain in his head, as if someone was squeezing his soul. Memories that weren't his flooded into his mind. The pain vanished just as quickly as it came. Tyrouge realized that he was in the One Piece world and that he had taken over Carola, Kalifa's younger brother.

He sighed. Carola's body was too weak. No wonder he was so easily beaten.

Tyrouge realized that he and Kalifa were not biological siblings. They had been street kids who had stuck together, becoming more than just family by choice.

---

Tyrouge absorbed the memories of his new life, and a fondness for Kalifa began to grow. He tenderly held her hand against his cheek.

"It's okay, sister," he said softly.

He now wore Carola's body, so he would protect the people Carola cared about—especially Kalifa, his favorite character.

This was before Roger's execution, and Kalifa had not yet joined CP9. She was still just a young girl, but already, her figure had developed perfectly.

Seeing Tyrouge's affectionate gaze, Kalifa's cheeks flushed a deep red, like ripe apples.

They stared at each other, lost in their bond, while the gang members behind them prepared to strike.

"Heh heh heh..." One of the gang members laughed cruelly. He drew his sword, eyes cold with malice.

The sound of the blade unsheathing caused Tyrouge's pupils to shrink. In the One Piece world, death meant no second chances.

Kalifa stepped in front of Tyrouge, her arms spread wide like a protective mother hen.

"You're not going to hurt my brother anymore!" she declared, her voice shaking with uncertainty as she struggled to find any threatening words.

The gang members just smirked, unbothered by her weak threat. They drew their swords, pressing them against Kalifa's neck. The cold steel stiffened her body, and she dared not move.
