One Piece: The warrior of Justice

Chapter 35: Unveiling the Secrets

On Conomi Island – Asta's Report to Headquarters________________________________

Asta stood in his small office, overlooking the ocean as the waves crashed against the shore. His expression was grim as he reviewed the findings he had received from Aron. The situation on Cocashi Island had become more complicated than expected, and Asta knew this could potentially have far-reaching consequences.

He reached for a Den Den Mushi, a smooth, seashell-like creature with a network of wires running through it. This was the one he used to communicate with Navy Headquarters. With a practiced hand, he dialed the number that would connect him directly to the Commodore.

The Den Den Mushi's eyes lit up, and the Commodore's gruff voice came through. "Asta, what's the situation? I hope you have something useful."

Asta's voice was steady but filled with the weight of what he was about to report. "Sir, I've received a report from Aron, and the situation is worse than we thought. Arlong's crew attacked Cocashi Village, but it wasn't just a typical pirate raid. The Marines were involved, and I'm not talking about just standing by. They let it happen."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line. The Commodore's voice grew sharp. "What do you mean the Marines were involved? That's a serious accusation."

Asta nodded, looking out at the sea. "It seems the Marines turned a blind eye, if not actively allowed the attack to happen. The villagers were left to fend for themselves while the Marines did nothing."

The Commodore cursed under his breath. "That's... unacceptable. I'll have a full investigation into this."

"But that's not all," Asta continued. "There was someone else who intervened—someone wearing a lion and cat mask. This figure fought off Arlong and his crew, saving the village."

The Commodore was quiet for a moment. "A lion and cat mask? That's... unusual. Who is this person?"

Asta's brow furrowed as he relayed the details. "We don't know yet, sir. But whoever they are, they have a lot of power. They saved the village, but it's clear that there's more to this situation than meets the eye."

The Commodore's tone grew more serious. "I need you to stay in contact with Aron. If what you're telling me is true, we need to act fast. This could be the start of something bigger. Report everything to Headquarters. I'll inform the Commodore, and we'll handle it from there."

Asta nodded. "Understood, sir. I'll report back as soon as I have more information."

The Commodore's voice softened. "Good work, Asta. We need to keep a close eye on this. Make sure Aron stays safe."

With that, Asta cut the connection. He stood in the room, his mind racing with the implications of the information. Whatever was going on in Cocashi Village, it was clear that this mysterious figure was just the beginning of a much larger story.

On Navy Headquarters – The Commodore's Response________________________________

Back at Navy Headquarters, a large, imposing building with steel walls and a never-ending stream of officers running around, the Commodore listened intently as Asta's report came through. The building was designed to reflect the authority and the power of the Navy, with long hallways, heavy doors, and countless rooms dedicated to everything from strategy to intelligence.

The Commodore's office was large and filled with documents detailing Navy operations and ongoing missions. He was in the middle of reviewing a stack of reports when Asta's voice came through the Den Den Mushi.

Asta relayed everything—Arlong's attack, the Marine involvement, and the mysterious figure who had appeared to save the village. The Commodore's expression grew dark as he processed the information.

"Asta, I want you to keep me updated," the Commodore said, his voice firm. "The involvement of the Marines in this situation is extremely troubling. I'll have a full investigation ordered, but for now, stay on top of this. We need to know who this masked individual is and why they've decided to interfere."

Asta replied with a nod, though he was certain the Commodore couldn't see it. "I'll continue monitoring the situation, sir. I'll keep you informed of any new developments."

The Commodore's gaze was hard as he looked out the window of his office, the vast expanse of the ocean visible in the distance. "Get this information to the higher-ups at once. This could be bigger than we think."

The Den Den Mushi connection was cut, and the Commodore sat back in his chair, rubbing his temples. This wasn't just a simple pirate raid—it was something far more dangerous. The Commodore knew he had to act quickly before things spiraled out of control.

Aron's Covert Report________________________________________________________________

Far from the noise of the Navy and the villagers, Aron had traveled to a secluded spot away from Cocashi Village. There, hidden among the rocks and the coastline, Aron took out a second Den Den Mushi. This one was different from the one he had used to report to Asta. Its shell was darker, more discreet, and designed for secret communications.

He dialed the number, and the connection was made quickly. The voice that answered was familiar but still carried a sense of mystery.

"Aron, report. What have you learned?" The voice was low and tinged with excitement.

Aron's expression hardened as he spoke. "I've gathered enough to confirm that the Marines were involved in the attack on Cocashi Village. They did nothing while Arlong's crew raided the village. The villagers fought back, but it was a brutal situation. However, a mysterious figure with a lion and cat mask showed up and saved the day. This person fought off Arlong's crew."

There was a pause, followed by a low chuckle from the other end of the line. "A lion and cat mask? Interesting. So someone is taking matters into their own hands. Tell me more."

Aron hesitated. "The figure—whoever they are—has skills that are beyond ordinary pirates. I've never seen anything like it. Whoever this is, they're not just some vigilante. They're a force to be reckoned with."

The other voice grew more eager. "This is fascinating. The situation is far more complicated than we thought. Keep me updated, Aron. This could be the beginning of something much larger than a simple pirate raid. Who knows what this masked figure is really up to."

Aron clenched his fists. "I'll keep you informed. I need to know more about this person and their connection to the Marines. But for now, I'm keeping a low profile."

The voice on the other end was filled with anticipation. "You're getting close to something big, Aron. Don't stop now. I'll be waiting for your next report."

Aron nodded and disconnected the call. He stood alone, watching the horizon as the weight of his mission pressed down on him. The information he had gathered was vital, but there were still so many unanswered questions. The mystery surrounding Cocashi Village was only deepening, and Aron knew that the next few days would reveal more than he could have ever imagined.
