Chapter 725: Chapter 609 Prison Break, A Great Battle Approaches!
"Rescue us?"
Zoro was momentarily taken aback. "Why?"
After a moment of thought, he realized he shouldn't be asking that, so he rephrased his question. "Who are you?"
"A bunch of nobody…"
As he spoke, the man extended his hand, inserting his finger into the keyhole. His finger quickly transformed into a blob of wax, allowing him to perform this incredible feat.
*Ka Chā!*
The cell door opened with a creak.
It was none other than Mr. 3, a high-ranking member of the Baroque Works, using the abilities of the Paramecia Wax-Wax Fruit.
Even without stealing the key, he could open any handcuffs by crafting wax models.
He entered the cell without speaking to the groggy Usopp and Chopper, heading straight to the cross where Zoro was restrained and used the same trick again.
*Ka Chā, Ka Chā…*
"Zoro, who is he?"
Chopper rubbed his sleepy eyes, momentarily stunned by the presence of another person before nervously asking.
"I don't know."
Zoro jumped down from the cross, stretching his slightly sore arms, and shook his head.
"But I know this is an opportunity."
*Ka Chā, Ka Chā!*
With several crisp sounds, all members of the Straw Hats were freed from their restraints. Seeing this, the man quickly said,
"Follow me! We don't have much time; the enemies will be here to change shifts soon."
With that, he turned and walked away.
But after a few steps, he felt something was off. Why was there no sound?
Turning around, he found the Straw Hats still standing in place, showing no signs of moving.
"What's going on?!"
The man looked confused.
"So…"
Luffy, sitting cross-legged on the ground, was picking his nose. "Who are you?"
"…"
Struggling to suppress the urge to punch him, the man replied with a twitch of his mouth, "I'm here to rescue you… isn't that obvious?!"
"Oh, thanks then!"
Luffy responded casually, then stated seriously, "But we're not leaving! Nami and Sanji are still in their hands; I have to save them!"
The man was shocked.
Not abandoning one's comrades was undoubtedly a touching sentiment… but also quite foolish.
"As long as the Captain is safe, the Pirate Ship isn't done. Don't you understand this logic?"
He questioned, bewildered.
"Above us is Marine Soryu, the one who independently took down BIG MOM. Do you understand?"
"I know…"
Luffy replied solemnly, "That's why I definitely won't abandon them!"
"If we're leaving, none of my crew can be missing!"
"The Captain's will is our will."
Zoro moved around to stretch, tearing the ribbon from his left arm and slowly wrapping it around his forehead. "Besides, The Merry is still at the port, under tight watch from the Marines."
"What will happen to it if we leave?"
Usopp nodded seriously. "That's right; the Merry is also our companion; we can't leave it behind."
"So… no matter who you are, thank you for freeing us."
Luffy stood up, shaking his arms. "But from now on, it's our own business."
"You…!"
Staring at them in shock, the Revolutionary Army soldier found himself at a loss for words.
"Sorry, little brother, can I borrow a blade?"
Zoro said as he took the samurai sword the man was holding.
It was only then that he realized, during his moment of daze, the Straw Hats had already left the cell, passing right by him.
In front of the passage, Luffy led the charge, raising his fist high.
"Guys, let's make a big ruckus!"
"Oooohhhhhhh!!!"
Watching the Straw Hats leave, the Revolutionary Army soldier stood in silence for a long time before pulling out a Den Den Mushi to report back.
"The plan has changed! The Straw Hats are not preparing to leave; let our people retreat."
"...No reason; they just don't want to leave!"
He then lowered his hand, staring at the now quiet corridor, murmuring to himself.
"Good luck to you."

G-10 Branch, Third Floor Restaurant.
Feeling the increasingly oppressive killing intent in the air, Law slowly wiped the corner of his mouth. His left hand touched the famed blade, "Kikoku," as he began to consider where to strike if a confrontation arose.
Kuma's expressionless face revealed nothing of his thoughts; only he understood the stakes. If Rowen made his move, facing two opponents wouldn't leave him with good odds.
However, at that moment, Rowen suddenly smirked, causing the thick air to lighten slightly.
"Well, those who are not hated are mediocre. I've gotten used to it."
Law: "…"
Kuma: "…"
What an astute and narcissistic summary!
Yet this did ease Kuma's tension, as it at least indicated that Rowen had temporarily abandoned his intention to attack. Anyone who had to face Rowen would surely find it a headache.
Can't hit, can't kill.
Just these two points alone put Rowen at an inherent advantage.
"About that… um… Doflamingo situation, I'll investigate it."
"But Kuma, don't you have something to tell me?"
Suddenly, Rowen asked pointedly.
"Hmm?"
Kuma slightly turned his gaze, his heart jolting in surprise, but he feigned calmness as he replied, "What is it?"
"A very important matter that we both know about. If it's not resolved, I won't be able to eat or sleep peacefully."
"Is Vice Admiral Soryu playing me?!"
Kuma silently tightened his nerves and a hint of displeasure crept into his tone as he removed his gloves.
"I don't remember having anything I need to tell you."
As the one responsible for capturing Dragon and destroying the Revolutionary Army headquarters, if they didn't share a common goal, they would never sit down for lunch peacefully.
"Are you really going to play dumb, Kuma? We've known each other for so long; it would be better to be honest with each other."
"I can't understand what you're saying, Vice Admiral Soryu."
To this, Kuma remained unafraid to confront him.
However, the next moment, Kuma felt the mechanical components in his body start to smoke.
"Please, it's the Log Device in your eyes!"
Rowen seemed to respond with a mix of exasperation. "I don't believe that you can take me down just because you have the Log Device to report me. But the fewer problems, the better, right?"
Kuma: "…"
What a shock!!!
He thought the Revolutionary Army's movements had been discovered and had even prepared to fight back… and you're talking about this?!
So awkward; how do I wrap this up now?
After a long silence in his seat, Kuma removed his square sunglasses, revealing a pitch-black hollow where his right eye should be.
"I think Vice Admiral Soryu doesn't need to worry too much... soon, Vegapunk will conduct my final modification, so I haven't installed a new Log Device since the last one was damaged."
Final modification?
Rowen pondered briefly before smiling.
"Then that's good. I was just saying... how long has it been since we last met? How could you possibly forget?"
With that, he looked at the pensive Law and curiously asked,
"Hey? What are you thinking about, Law?"
"I was thinking that it seems necessary to be wary of Cyborgs…"
Law replied seriously.
No, only Kuma is special because the one who modified him is Vegapunk.
The father of cutting-edge technology!
Rowen internally lamented with a look of exasperation.
*Bang!*
Suddenly, just as Law finished speaking, a loud explosion rang from outside.
The three turned to look as a long strip resembling an arm rose from the bottom, slanting and stretching across most of the G-10 branch, entwining it with the base of the Marine flag flying in the square ahead.
"Is this guy going to…?"
Rowen's mouth twitched, a bad premonition creeping into his mind.
*Whiz!*
*Snap!*
The rubber arm suddenly contracted, propelling Luffy toward the base.
He grabbed the mast and shouted loudly, drawing everyone's attention.
"Nami! Sanji!"
"I'm here to pick you up!!"
"Let's set sail together!!!"
