One Piece Thundergod Marine

Kuma had thought about sending the Straw Hats away while Rowen was busy with other matters. However, Rowen had left the battlefield only after Ain had arrived, and Ain, remembering Rowen's instructions, quickly reacted whenever Kuma moved toward the Straw Hats. A pink energy sphere from her would force Kuma back each time.

A single retreat wasn't frightening. What was alarming was that each retreat diminished his power, making his paw-based teleportation less accurate. This would turn his attempts at rescue into potential acts of harm.

Now that Rowen had finally returned to the frontlines, Ain was prepared to step back, giving Kuma a real opportunity to act.

"Dante, that green seaweed head over there is yours," Rowen ordered as he deflected Kuma with a single thrust of his halberd. "Ain, head to the port. It seems the Straw Hat Pirates are trying to reclaim their ship."

Both nodded and quickly withdrew. Since Rowen had chosen to take matters into his own hands, there was no longer a role for them in this fight. Their focus shifted to minimizing losses and maximizing results.

"Law, take that monkey and get as far away as possible. I don't want to accidentally hurt him," Rowen continued to give orders.

"Henry, there are a few rats hiding among Kuma's soldiers. Catch them for me."

"Everyone else, retreat from the battlefield!"

Hearing this, the soldiers immediately ceased their attack on Zoro and began to retreat without looking back. Although Kuma hadn't yet unleashed any world-shattering techniques, it didn't mean he was incapable of doing so. At their level of power, there was no safe place in G-10 once they fought for real.

Thus, the soldiers retreated swiftly once ordered.

"Such calm orders... it seems the Vice Admiral Soryu (Azure Dragon) looks down on me," Kuma said as he suddenly appeared beside a running Luffy. Using compressed air to propel himself, Kuma moved at a speed nearly equal to Rowen's over short distances. "In that case, I won't hold back."

"Whoa! Hey, I'm on your side!" Luffy exclaimed in surprise, trying to explain himself.

"Sorry, but I'm also doing this for your sake," Kuma replied, his gaze complex as he raised his hand to strike Luffy.

Just then, an overwhelming force materialized out of nowhere. It was as if the air itself had frozen, locking Kuma in place.

Shuā!

A surge of electricity shot through the air as Rowen came diving in with a flying kick. The kick sent Kuma's massive seven-meter-tall body flying backward, forcing him to cough up a mouthful of blood.

"Wū Wa!"

Rowen quickly flashed beneath Kuma's body and launched an upward kick.

Boom!!!

The kick struck Kuma's abdomen, causing it to cave in. A large pile of metal parts, which no one could identify, exploded from his body, scattering into the air.

Kuma bent over from the force of the blow, flew upward, and for the first time, a look of shock crossed his otherwise stoic face.

"Such incredible speed!"

The attack came so fast that by the time he sensed danger, it had already hit him, leaving him with no time to react.

"Don't go around sending people on trips without asking, Kuma. Forced sales like that will get you in trouble..."

Rowen's nonchalant voice echoed in Kuma's ears. 

Under normal circumstances, this scene would be ordinary. But right now, Kuma was hurtling through the air, at least 300 meters above the ground!

Heaven-resisting Thunder Cry · First Style · Nine Dragon Coil!

Lightning erupted in all directions, the destructive energy enveloping Kuma in an instant. He turned his head slightly, just in time for an electric arc to strike him, detonating with a Bang!

Boom!!

A disc-shaped thundercloud materialized out of nowhere, blocking out the sky like a solid mass. Within it, thunderous dragons formed from lightning surged, each covered in scale-like armor, releasing their wild, destructive power.

Finally, nine thunder dragons, each as thick as a building, roared and shot into the air before spiraling downward, converging toward the center, where a vaguely humanoid figure could be seen.

Pā dā!

After executing the technique, Rowen descended to the ground amid stunned, awe-filled gazes. With a casual flick of his thunder halberd, he slung it across his back.

"Gūlp..."

Luffy swallowed hard, trembling with fear and excitment.

"So... this is the power of the Marine's Soryu (Azure Dragon) ..."

It was nothing like what he had seen back in Windmill Town. The difference was staggering.

"Yeah, that's right," Law said, stepping beside him with a cold smile and a quick horizontal slash of his sword.

"That's why you have no hope of escape. In front of the Vice Admiral Soryu (Azure Dragon), you're completely powerless."

"Heh heh, I don't think so," Luffy grinned as he leaped away to dodge the attack. "I'm going to be the King of the Pirates! As long as I get stronger, that's all that matters."

"Those two statements... they have no bearing on reality, idiot," Law retorted.

Shuā! 

Law blinked through his ROOM space, appearing behind Luffy. With a diagonal slash, he left a finger-length scar on Luffy's face. "If you've got the guts, beat me first!" he taunted.

Meanwhile, Rowen suddenly furrowed his brow slightly, then smiled. 

"As expected, I can't underestimate you, Kuma."

As if to prove Rowen's point, the thunderclouds in the sky suddenly split apart. 

Bang, Bang, Bang! 

Three muffled sounds echoed through the air, like a hammer hitting rubber. Kuma thrust his palms left and right, dispersing the thunderclouds.

The most domineering aspect of the Paw-Paw Fruit is its ability to repel anything, regardless of its type. It can bounce back not only electricity but even the slashing attacks that would terrify a rubber man. 

However, since it was electricity, this wasn't as effective as it seemed.

Watching the figure rapidly descending to the ground, Rowen smiled slightly and raised his hand toward the sky, softly uttering: 

"Qilin!"

Boom, Rumble…!! 

In an instant, silver lightning serpents danced wildly across the overcast sky. The scattered thunderbolts surged together under Rowen's control, gathering and then explosively erupting. 

Roar!! 

A divine, ancient Qilin beast with gleaming scales roared as it stood tall, then, under Kuma's shocked gaze, it lunged at him, biting down fiercely. 

The attack caused sparks to fly from Kuma's mechanical components, his body stiffening from the shock. Yet, he endured the discomfort, raising his paw-shaped hands and repeatedly swatting upward.

Bang!!! 

The electric orb was dispersed once again, and the smoke-covered, charred Kuma fell back to the ground. 

But before he could catch his breath, lightning surged from all directions. Spears of crackling electricity materialized in the air, gleaming with sharp, lethal energy, shooting at him from every angle. 

"What kind of move is this?!" 

It seemed endless!

Kuma, overwhelmed, stopped paying attention to Rowen's movements, focusing instead on swatting away the incoming lightning spears one after another.

The power of the Paw-Paw Fruit was truly formidable, but Rowen had prepared for this. In his head, he recalled a famous line from an old commercial: "Use the lightning again, don't waste it. After using Nine Dragon Coil, you can follow up with Gungnir." 

As a user of the Goro Goro no Mi (Thunder Thunder Fruit), Rowen knew the importance of managing his energy consumption. Besides improving his own strength, he needed to find ways to conserve his powers efficiently. 

This attack was a method Rowen developed to conserve stamina, something he called: 

Electricity Saving Mode!

While it reduced the overall power, it increased the consistency of the attacks and saved his stamina—making it a very practical technique.

As Kuma struggled to deal with the barrage of lightning spears falling like rain, Rowen lowered his hand and activated his Awakening ability. 

"Now… turn into fireworks in the sky!"
