In a crucial moment, Li Yuan deflected Hamadi with a slash, using the Seven Star Sword to guard his chest while sidestepping Sola's claws, quickly retreating to regain his composure.

Li Yuan pulled back, and Sola hesitated to engage alone, waiting for Hamadi to rejoin him. Together, they felt somewhat secure against this formidable opponent who showed no signs of weakness even when faced with two adversaries. 

"Yohoho, an Army Marshal, huh? Let Captain John send you off!" 

John targeted Army Marshal Geno Bolton, remembering him from the Rocks assault — one of the few who survived Rocks' wrath.

"Just a minor officer from the Rocks Pirates, daring to challenge me!" 

Geno Bolton engaged John, blocking his path.

"Fleet Admiral Kong, let's fight!" 

Silver Axe, having witnessed Kong battle Rocks firsthand, chose him as his opponent. Surviving Rocks was a testament to Kong's strength. Yet, Silver Axe had grown significantly stronger, with the Power-Power Fruit boosting him immensely. Despite losing to Li Yuan, he regained confidence, believing his fruit powers could surpass even Li Yuan.

"Pirates, you'll lose this battle!" 

Elderly yet powerful, Kong clashed fists with Silver Axe's massive weapon.

"You're the new CP0? Hahaha, CP0's almost wiped out, and I'll take your head!" 

Wald, despising CP0's clandestine nature, targeted a man in CP0 attire. 

"Momo Hundredfold Gun!" 

Wald fired the Desert Eagle, gifted by Li Yuan, amplifying its power a hundred times toward the CP0 agent. The shot was exponentially stronger than his old flintlock, the Desert Eagle's base power being over twice as potent.

"Twist!"

The CP0 Deputy Director, Aros Robertson, merely raised his hand, twisting the bullet's trajectory skyward. A Paramecia-Twist Fruit user, his Devil Fruit powers secured his promotion to CP0 Deputy Director, a gift from the Celestial Dragons.

The Celestial Dragons' support included not just one Paramecia-Twist Fruit but three powerful Devil Fruits, creating three CP0 Deputy Director-level agents. However, they sent no family warriors to aid the World Government, lacking the security to risk their protectors after the recent massacre.

Devil Fruits significantly boosted strength, akin to John, Silver Axe, and Wang Zhi pre-fruit. Facing Kong alone, they'd fall within an hour. Yet now, Silver Axe could hold his ground against Kong.

Roger emerged openly, flanked by Rayleigh and Jabba.

"Jihahaha, Li Yuan said you'd come, but I doubted it. Glad to see you!" 

"Roger, let's take down these geezers!" 

Golden Lion laughed, mocking the Elders.

"Hahaha, the Five Elders... once allies against Rocks, now enemies." 

Roger didn't directly respond but stood with Golden Lion.

The Elders anticipated Roger's potential involvement but were displeased by the timing. Without him, victory seemed assured.

"Kill!!"

Financial God Nasushiro Saint's eyes turned cold as he drew the supreme-grade sword First Generation Kitetsu, its eerie aura entwined with Conqueror's Haki. Transforming into a horse-like form, he levitated, eyes blazing, surrounded by fiery clouds.

Sensing danger, Golden Lion expanded his Observation Haki to its limit. Though Nasushiro Saint vanished from sight, Golden Lion felt the threat. 

Suddenly, Golden Lion crossed his swords leftward.

"Clang!!" 

First Generation Kitetsu, aimed at his head, was blocked. Afterward, Nasushiro Saint vanished, reappearing at his original spot.

"Illusions, what a tricky power!" 

Golden Lion recognized the ability from Wang Zhi's descriptions.

"Hahaha, let's fight, Elders!" 

"God Avoidance!"

Roger attacked, drawing his supreme-grade sword Ace, releasing top-tier Armament and Conqueror's Haki. His strike, like divine wrath, forced even gods to retreat.

"Ghost Slash!"

Nasushiro Saint narrowed his eyes, meeting Roger's attack. He preferred battling non-flyers like Roger to the airborne Golden Lion.

"What!!"

Nasushiro Saint had underestimated Roger, who shattered his Ghost Slash. Ace crashed into First Generation Kitetsu, Roger's Haki overpowering Nasushiro's defenses, striking his body.

"Jihahaha, focus on me, Golden Lion's your opponent!" 

As Roger engaged, Golden Lion targeted Maz Saint, who could also fly in his mythical Itsumade form.

Rayleigh and Jabba intercepted the remaining Elders. Though seemingly earnest, they were merely holding positions, not risking themselves.

Golden Lion refrained from criticizing Roger's apparent slacking; they weren't here to sacrifice themselves. Blocking three Elders was assistance enough.

As top-tier forces clashed, mid and lower-tier fighters engaged in their own battles. 

With over 400,000 pirates, only 200,000 could engage initially, matched by the Navy's 200,000. The battlefield's size limited capacity, with the rest held in reserve.

The non-combatant pirates sought out Infinity Pirates' arms dealers, eager to buy. The Infinity Pirates had ample stock, continually resupplying to ensure weapon availability.

Within just one day, 150,000 perished on the island, 80% being Navy and Army. Pirates lost only 30,000.

Exhausted after a day of battle, pirates—unlike the tenacious top fighters—retreated, replaced by 200,000 resting pirates who charged the Navy, denying them respite.

Returning pirates received medical care, especially from Infinity Pirates' doctors and effective treatments, earning praise.

The Flying Pirates' islands provided food and chefs, ensuring returning pirates were well-fed and rested.

On the second day, pirates rotated again, losing another 150,000, with 120,000 from the Navy and Army, and 30,000 pirates.

Army losses were high, mainly inexperienced recruits acting as cannon fodder. The Army, tasked with Red Line security, rarely saw combat, leaving soldiers untested.

The Army's easy recruitment from the Red Line's populous regions, filled with impoverished individuals, led to readily available manpower. They expanded ranks for the war, bringing in more fodder.

Despite losing 60,000 pirates over two days, the World Economic News' detailed coverage, highlighting Berries for Navy kills and the promised rewards, drew more pirates eager to join.

News of pirates receiving Berries for kills spread, enticing others to join. The pirate numbers rebounded to 400,000 as replacements arrived.

Even the Infinity Pirates replenished ranks, sending 30,000 to replace the 20,000 unwilling to continue. Li Yuan planned to rotate forces, bringing in fresh pirates from Infinity Sea to replace the injured or unwilling, sustaining their numbers.
